Tape Mani Tutorial

Estava lendo ontem a pesquisa que fiz aqui pro blog e vi que uma das sugestões foi mais tutoriais, mais passo a passo, incluindo objetos que usamos diariamente. Para a lindona que deixou essa sugestão, muito obrigada pela atenção e interesse. Como você pode ver, estou fazendo tutoriais desde fevereiro, mas infelizmente não uso outros objetos que não sejam específicos para nail art, exceto as esponjas de maquiagem para fazer gradientes. Mas se você quiser ver tutoriais com outros materiais, tem milhares de vídeos no YouTube. ;-) Aqui o post original dessa mani.
I was reading the answers to the questionnaire I made (in Portuguese) and saw that one of the suggestions was to make more tutorials, including objects we use on a daily basis. Unfortunately I don't use regular objects, all my material is specifically for nail art, except the makeup sponges to make gradients. But if you want to see tutorials using other accessories, there are tons of them on YouTube. ;-) Here's the original post for this mani.

Essa mani é uma das técnicas que eu mais gosto e uma das mais fáceis de fazer também. Comece com duas camadas do esmalte de sua escolha. Eu usei o Push and Shove da O.P.I. Depois que a cor de base estiver bem seca, posicione a primeira fitinha na diagonal sobre a unha e pressione bem os cantinhos para não levantarem. 
This mani is one of the techniques I love the most and one of the easiest to make. Start off with two coats of a polish of your choice. I chose Push and Shove by O.P.I. Make sure your base colour is completely dry and then position the first tape diagonally on the nail and press on the sides so they won't lift.

Em seguida posicione a segunda fitinha do outro lado, formando um X centralizado na parte superior da unha.
Then put the second tape on the opposite side, making an X centred on the top part of the nail.

Posicione a terceira fitinha paralela à primeira.
Put the third tape parallel to the first one.

E a última do outro lado. 
And the last one on the other side.

Passe uma camada bem generosa do esmalte de sua escolha. Usei o Live, Love, Carnaval da O.P.I.
Layer a very generous coat of the polish of your choice. I picked Live, Love, Carnaval by O.P.I.

Retire as fitinhas logo em seguida, com o esmalte ainda molhado para não dar "baba". Se esperar secar para retirar as fitinhas elas puxam o esmalte e fica como se fosse baba mesmo.
Take off the tapes right away, while the polish is still wet so it won't drag. If you wait for the polish to dry and then take off the tapes, they will pull the polish and it looks awful.

Tente lembrar a ordem que posicionou as fitinhas para não fazer bagunça.
Try to remember the order you positioned the tapes so you don't make a mess when removing them.

Retire-as na ordem contrária, da última a ser posicionada para a primeira.
Pull them up on the opposite direction, from the last to the first one you put on.

Coloque um stud no losango criado no meio e proteja o design com top coat.
Put a stud in the diamond shape created in the middle and seal the design with top coat.
