Esse é um dos mais encalhados ever! Meus primeiros liquid sand foram do kit mini da Mariah Carey e desde que comprei eles ficaram encalhados.
This is one of the oldest unused polishes ever! My first liquid sand polishes were the ones from the mini kit OPI by Mariah Carey and they stayed in the unused box since then.

Esse tempo todo tendo deixado o bonito encalhado e ele engrossou pra cacete. Não gostei não. A cor é linda, mas foi mó saquinho de esmaltar!

Vou ver se um diluente de esmalte ajuda, senão já era... mimimimi
All this time having left this beauty in the box and it became so thick. I didn't like it. The color is gorgeous, but it was a pain in the butt to apply!
I'll see if I can fix it with diluent, if not it's lost... mimimimi

O nosso foi MARAVILHOSOOOOOO! Chegamos em Búzios ontem e vamos ficar aqui com o me pai e a namorada dele, minha irmã e o namorado dela até a nossa volta. Que felicidadeeeeee!

How was your Christmass?

Ours was WONDERFUL! We arrived in Búzios yesterday and we're staying here with my dad and his girlfriend, my sister and her boyfriend until our last day. I'm so happyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Esse é mais um sand lindo, o It's Raining Stars da Bourjois. Realmente, a Bourjois arrasou com essa coleção viu?! Esse é mais um super fácil de esmaltar e lindo de morrer.

This is another gorgeous liquid sand, the It's Raining Stars by Bourjois. Seriously, Bourjois really nailed it with this collection! Another one very easy to apply and extremely beautiful.

Infelizmente esse foi mais um que não testei a durabilidade, mas prometo que testarei antes de postar o próximo. 
Unfortunately, this was another one I didn't test the durability, but I promise I'll test before sharing the next one.

Esse esmalte é a cara do Ano Novo né? Mas nem foi o que eu usei não. Usei um dos meus novos divinissimos da coleção Princesas e Vilãs da Disney da Esmaltes da Kelly. Mas nem vou falar qual foi não! Mostrarei  a vocês depois.
This is a perfect polish for New Year right? But it wasn't this one I wore. I wore one of my brand new gorgeous polishes from the Disney's Princesses and Villains collection by Esmaltes da Kelly. But I won't tell you which one! I'll show you later.

Green Mix 'n Match

Já começaram a contagem regressiva para o Natal? Eu já! Depois de 7 anos, finalmente vou passar as festas com a minha família. :-D

Have you started the countdown for Christmas yet? I have. After 7 years, I'll finally spend the holidays with my family. :-D

Para comemorar essa alegria toda, hoje trago a vocês uma mix 'n match que fiz especialmente para o postão Esmaltadas de Leitoras do mês passado, lá pro blog da Alice.

To celebrate all this happiness, today I bring you a mix 'n match I did for last month's big Esmaltadas de Leitoras post, for Alice's blog.

Começo mostrando a vocês esse verdinho muito amor que comprei em Portugal em outubro. É o 389 Mint Milk. Apesar de ser tom pastel, ele é super fácil de esmaltar e já cobre bem na primeira camada.

I start by showing you this cute green I bought in Portugal in October.

It's 389 Mint Milk. It's very easy to apply, even though it's a pastel polish. It covers well already on the first coat.

No indicador passei duas camadas do Acquamarina Strass (Collistar) - achei que ele fosse glitter, mas é sand - que mostrarei sozinho para vocês depois. No polegar e no anelar uma camada do branco para carimbo da Blant e studs verdinhos.

On the index I applied two coats of Acquamarina Strass (Collistar) - I thought it was glitter, but it's actually textured - which I'll show you by itself later on. On the thumb and ring finger only one coat of white stamping polish and green studs.

No médio e mindinho carimbei com uma plaquinha da Born Pretty que também mostrarei depois. Essas foram as minhas primeiras fotos usando o mini estudio (exceto a foto do Kiko peladinho). Sei que ainda tenho muito para melhorar, mas o que vocês acham?
On the middle finger and pinky I stamped with an image plate by Born Pretty which I'll also show you later. These were also my first pictures using the light box (except the picture of the Kiko "naked"). I know there's always room for improvement, but what do you guys think?

Dahlia - Zoya

Hoje tem mais um sand divo que ficou encalhado nos rascunhos por mais de 3 meses. Que vergonhaaaaaaa! Mas nunca é tarde para deixá-lo dar o ar da graça, né?
Today I have another gorgeous textured polish that was "forgotten" in the draft list for more than 3 months. Shame on meeeeeeeee! But it's never too late to let it shine, right?

Esse perfeito é o Dahlia da Zoya. Na primeira camada eu achei que ele não fosse cobrir direito e confesso que achei o efeito muito estranho. Daí passei a segunda e tudo fez sentido!
This perfect polish is Dahlia by Zoya. On the first coat I thought it wouldn't get fully opaque and have to say I found the effect quite weird. Then I applied the second and everything made sense!

Quando ele foi lançado eu nem dei muita bola não. Queria mesmo eram os coloridos, extravagantes, bem cheguei... do jeito que eu gosto. Hahahahahah
I didn't care much for it when it was released. The ones I really wanted were the colourful, extravagant, bright ones... just the way I like it. LMAO

Mas aí o amor pelos esmaltes texturizados foi crescendo e eu descobri que precisava - sim, precisava - de um preto na minha coleção. E assim, ele teve a sua chance de me cortejar. :-D
But then the love for textured polish started growind and I found out I needed - yes, neede - a black one in my stash. So, he had his chance to woo me. :-D

Maliblue - Catrice

Então, vocês sabem que a minha cor preferida é o azul né? E que sou loucamente apaixonada pelo acabamento liquid sand. Queria ter todos os texturizados existentes! Heheheheheheh

So, you know by now my favorite color is blue right? And that I'm crazy in love by liquid sand finishes. I wanted to have all the liquid sands in the world! Hehehehehe

O lindo de hoje é o Maliblue da Catrice. Um tom de azul maravilhoso. Dá pra acreditar que esse post está nos meus rascunhos há mais de três meses e eu não tive tempo de postá-lo? Que pecadooooooo!

Today's gorgeous is Maliblue by Catrice. A gorgeous shade of blue. Can you believe this post was in my drafts for more than three months and I didn't get to publish it? What a shaaaaaaaame!

Fiquei apaixonada por esse lindo. Já mostrei os dois outros da coleção que eu consegui comprar: Waikiki Peach e Sandhopper. Esse aqui só não ganha do Pool Crush da IsaDora, que até agora é o azul sand mais perfeito que encontrei!

I'm in love with this one. I have already showed you the other two I got from the same collection: Waikiki Peach and Sandhopper. This one here only loses for Pool Crush by IsaDora, that up to now it the prettiest blue sand I've ever found!

De qualquer forma, o Maliblue não fica atrás não! O típico BBB, bom, bonito e barato! :-)

[Pink October] #1: I ♥ Paris

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo ótimo. Acho que agora posso relaxar, né?
Como vocês já devem ter visto por aí, o mês de Outubro é o mês da Conscientização Sobre o Câncer de Mama e quem me acompanha desde o começo sabe que todo ano eu participo da campanha esmaltando as unhas de rosa uma vez por semana.
How are you doing? Everything is great here. Now I can relax, right?
As you may have seen around, October is the month for Breast Cancer Awareness and those who follow me here since the beginning know I participate every year wearing pink nails once a week.

Começo o mês com uma esmaltação que eu amei, homenageando uma das minhas cidades preferidas: Paris. No polegar e no dedo médio foram duas camadas do It's Raining Stars da Bourjois, que faz parte da edição limitada de esmaltes sand que eles lançaram. Consegui comprar os quatro da coleção e mostrarei um por um, separadamente, para vocês verem.
So let's start the month with a mani I love, honouring one of my favourite cities: Paris. On the thumb and middle fingers are two coats of It's Raining Stars by Bourjois, which is part of their limited edition of liquid sand. I got all four of them and I'll show you one by one afterwards.
 

No indicador e no mindinho fiz um dégradé com o Free Hugs (Essence) e o Rose Cupcake (Bourjois), cobri com o meu queridinho extra brilho da ideal e depois de bem sequinho coloquei as fitinhas para fazer chevron. Passei o Black Is Black (Essence) por cima e tirei as fitinhas logo em seguida.
On the index and pinky I made a gradient with Free Hugs (Essence) and Rose Cupcake (Bourjois), topped it with my favourite Brazilian top coat by Ideal and after it was very dry I place the chevron vinyls. I applied Black Is Black (Essence) and took the vinyls off right away.
 

No anelar foram duas camadas do Rose Cupcake, top coat fosco para ajudar no desenho e fiz a Tour Eiffel a mão livre usando tinta acrílica. Do ladinho dela coloquei dois blings só para dar um charme (porque não tinha brilho suficiente nessa mani sabem?!... kkkkkkk)
On the ring finger I applied tow coats of Rose Cupcake, topped it with matte top coat to help drawing and freehanded the Eiffel Tower using acrylic paint. I place two blings next to it just to decorate a bit more (because this mani wasn't sparkly enough you know?!... LMAO) 
 

Simplesmente amei essa mani. Espero que vocês tenham gostado também. Aproveito para dizer que (finalmente) saio em férias amanhã de madrugada e passarei a semana que vem em Portugal, por isso deixarei os posts programados e retribuirei as visitas e responderei os comentários quando voltar, ok?

Love Crush - IsaDora

Tudo bem com vocês? Por aqui tudo ótimo. Como eu disse no post de quarta, ainda tenho várias manis acumuladas que fotografei com o iPhone e ainda tenho que melhorar mais as  fotos com a câmera. Por isso, enquanto pratico, vou postando as acumuladas.

How are you doing? I hope you're all great. As I said on Wednesday's post, I still have a lot of manis accumulated on my iPhone and since I still need more practice with the camera, I'll keep posting those.

O divo de hoje é o Love Crush da IsaDora. Outra perfeição como o Pool Crush (que na minha opinião é o mais bonito da coleção). Ele tem o mesmo acabamento homogêneo, sem os glitters maiores como é o caso do Purple Crush, do Candy Crush e do Sky Crush.

Today's gorgeousness is Love Crush by IsaDora. Another perfect one just like Pool Crush (which, in my opinion, is the prettiest of the whole collection). It has the same smooth finish, without the bigger glitters like in Purple Crush, Candy Crush and Sky Crush.

Em duas camadas cobre perfeitamente e seca rápido também. A durabilidade dele é excelente. Foram 4 dias intacto! Normalmente não demoro tanto a trocar de mani, mas dessa vez deixei para testar.

It gets fully opaque in two coats and it dries quickly. It has an excellent durability. It lasted intact for 4 days! I normally don't take that long to change manicures, but this time I kept it on for testing.

Infelizmente, já vi que provavelmente não conseguirei os dois que mais queria: Wine Crush e Black Crush. Eles não chegaram aqui na Bélgica e acho que já saíram de linha lá na Suécia e na Noruega também... Mimimimi

Unfortunately, I realized I probably won't get the two I wanted the most: Wine Crush and Black Crush. They didn't get to Belgium and I think they were already discontinued in Sweden and in Norway as well... Mimimi

Como anda a preparação para as festas de fim de ano?

Nós vamos passar a véspera de Natal com a minha melhor amiga e família, e o dia de Natal com a família do meu amor na Holanda. Para o Réveillon ainda não programamos nada.

Apesar de ter reclamado do desafio domingo passado, não sou uma pessoa que desiste das coisas não, por isso continuo firme e forte, e melhorando as minhas habilidades. ;-)

How's it going with Holiday's preparation?

We are going to spend Christmas Eve with my best friend and her family, and Christmas Day with my hubby's family in Holland. We haven't planned anything for New Year yet.

Although I complained about the challenge last week, I'm not a person who gives up on things, so I keep going strong, and improving my skills. ;-)

Continuando a saga dos liquid sands, o bonito de hoje eu usei para um trabalhinho de recepcionista em um evento, e mais uma vez precisava estar com unhas discretas. Aproveitei-o para representar a causa.
How’s life? I hope it’s really good. As you know well, October is the month of breast cancer awareness, and as I did last year, this year I'll post pink nails once a week. Going forward with the liquid sand saga, today’s gorgeous I wore for a hostess job I did, and again I needed to have something discrete on the nails. I took it to represent the cause.

Vamos falar de novidade hoje?! Assim como muitas viciadas, eu torci o nariz quando a O.P.I. lançou os tão cobiçados liquid sand (efeito areia líquida), e também paguei pela língua pois foi paixão ao primeiro toque.
Finalmente a Essence (marca alemã do coração, baratinha e maravilhosa!) entrou na onda dos liquid sand e lançou 3 esmaltes novos, com nome Efeito Sparkle Sand (areia brilhosa).

Let’s talk about news today?! Just like many other girls, I've also pulled my nose up when O.P.I. launched the so wanted liquid sand polishes, and I was also blown away because it was love at first touch.
Finally Essence (lovely, cheap and awesome German brand!) decided to play the game and came up with 3 new polishes Sparkle Sand Effect.
