Esse é um dos mais encalhados ever! Meus primeiros liquid sand foram do kit mini da Mariah Carey e desde que comprei eles ficaram encalhados.
This is one of the oldest unused polishes ever! My first liquid sand polishes were the ones from the mini kit OPI by Mariah Carey and they stayed in the unused box since then.

Esse tempo todo tendo deixado o bonito encalhado e ele engrossou pra cacete. Não gostei não. A cor é linda, mas foi mó saquinho de esmaltar!

Vou ver se um diluente de esmalte ajuda, senão já era... mimimimi
All this time having left this beauty in the box and it became so thick. I didn't like it. The color is gorgeous, but it was a pain in the butt to apply!
I'll see if I can fix it with diluent, if not it's lost... mimimimi

Maleficent - Esmaltes da Kelly

Hoje é dia de mais brilho por aqui e se tem uma coisa que eu amo de paixão é brilho!

Today's is sparkle day around and you know how much I love sparkles right?!

Esse glitter divino, mais que perfeito, absolutamente necessário na vida de uma esmaltólatra é o Maleficente da Esmaltes da Kelly. Ele é um roxo intenso em base jelly com poerinha de glitter holográfico roxo e magenta.

This gorgeous glitter, more than perfect, absolutely needed in any NPA's life is Maleficent by Esmaltes da Kelly. It's a deep purple in jelly base with very thin purple and magenta holographic glitter.

Passei uma camada do Black Is Black (Essence) como base e duas do Maleficent por cima. Finalizei com duas camadas do Insta-Dri da Sally Hansen porque o glitter é tão forte que absorveu a primeira camada de top coat.

I applied one coat of Black Is Black (Essence) as base and two coats of Maleficent on top. I finished it with two coats of Insta-Dri by Sally Hansen because the glitter is so rough that it absorbed the first coat of the top coat.

Ainda não usei todos, por isso não posso dizer qual é o meu preferido, mas esse com certeza ganhou um lugarzinho especial no coração.

I haven't used them all yet, so I can say which one is my favorite, but this one certainly got a special spot in my heart.

Holiday's Chevron

A mani de hoje é mais uma que eu amei e que fez sucesso no escritório.

Today's mani is another one I love and that was popular at the office.

Queria uma coisa simples e festiva ao mesmo tempo... e acho que acertei na mosca!

Esse roxo perfeito é o Be My Violetine da Catrice. Vocês já conhecem a qualidade maravilhosa da marca né? Duas camadas de pura perfeição. Secagem rápida e fácil de limpar.

I wanted something simple and festive at the same time... and I think I got it! 

This perfect purple is Be My Violetine by Catrice. You know how great this brand is right? Full coverage in two smooth coats. It dries quickly and it's easy to clean. 

Passei uma camada de top coat para as fitinhas não arrancarem o roxo de base. Depois que ele estava bem seco, apliquei as fitinhas para fazer chevron, passei duas camadas do Glam Rock, glitter forte da Hits, e retirei as fitinhas logo em seguida.

I top coated it so the vinyls wouldn't peel off the purple base. After it was completely dry, I applied the chevron vinyls, two coats of Glam Rock by the Brazilian brand Hits, and peeled off the vinyls right away.

Depois foi só passar mais uma camada de top coat e voilà. Ai como eu adoro chevrons. Acho que dá para fazer tanta coisa legal com eles. Caso vocês queiram saber, essas fitinhas eu comprei na lojinha online Nail Vinyls, mas já vi que a Born Pretty se jogou nelas também.

Next, I just had to apply top coat again and voilà. I love chevrons. I think we can make such nice looks. In case you want to know, I bought these on Nail Vinyls online shop, but I've seen that Born Pretty is also selling them.

Swatches Rock Out!! Collection by Essence

Como prometido anteriormente, aqui vão os swatches da nova coleção Rock Out!! da Essence. Só não consegui tirar foto do que brilha no escuro porque não tenho luz negra (preciso providenciar uma urgente), mas já estou correndo atrás de uma para adicionar as fotos à esse post aqui depois. 
As I have promised before, here are the swatches of the new Rock Out!! collection by Essence. The only one I couldn't photograph is the glow in the dark top coat because I don't have a black light (I have to get one urgently), but I'm looking for one so I can add the pictures to this post afterwards.

Não é só o formato do vidrinho que é diferente não, o pincel também é. Ele não é largo e achatado como o pincel clássico da marca (uma pena), mas também é fácil de esmaltar. Todas as fotos foram tiradas em luz natural e sem top coat.
It's not only the shape of the bottle that is different, the brush too. It's not wide and flat like the regular one (what a shame), but it's also easy to use. All pictures were taken under natural daylight and without top coat.

Best Female: glass fleck em base jelly, com shimmer dourado e rosa. Fácil de aplicar, precisou de três camadas para cobrir completamente.
Jelly glass fleck, with golden and pink shimmer. Easy to apply, needs three coats to build opacity.

Best Hip-Hop: glitters finos coloridos em base jelly preta translúcida. Aplicação também é fácil. Cobre complemente em três camadas.
Tiny colourful glitter in a black sheer jelly base. Also easy to apply. Builds opacity in three coats.

Best Pop: glass fleck em base crelly. Fácil aplicação, o único que cobre perfeitamente em duas camadas, justamente por ser crelly e não jelly.
Crelly glass fleck. Easy application, the only one that covered perfectly in two coats, because it's a crelly and not a jelly.

Best Rock: glass fleck em base jelly. O mais translúcido de todos. Também de fácil aplicação e cobertura em três camadas. (só tem uma foto porque fui retardada o suficiente para excluir a outra sem querer... rsrsrsrsr)
Jelly glass fleck. The most sheer of them all. Also easy to apply and opaque in three coats. (there's only one picture of this one because I was dumb enough to accidentally delete the other picture... rsrsrsrsr)  

  Biggest Fan é um top coat com estrelinhas holográficas. Ele brilha no escuro mesmo, mas a Canon não entende isso e o iPhone também não. Por isso não consegui fotografar sem o auxílio de uma luz negra. Como disse no início do post, assim que eu conseguir uma, faço fotos dele e adiciono à esse post aqui. Enquanto isso, vocês podem vê-lo brilhando nessa foto aqui e nessa aqui em luz natural sobre um esmalte amarelo.
It's a top coat with holographic star shaped glitters. It really glows in the dark, but the Canon didn't understand that, neither did the iPhone. So I couldn't photograph it without the assistance of a black light. So, as I say in the beginning of this post, as soon as I get a black light, I'll take pictures of it and will add to this post. In the mean time, you can see it glowing here and under natural daylight over a yellow base here.

[12 Meses 12 Esmaltes] Outubro :: Psico - Risqué

Finalmente o mês acabou! Confesso que já não agüentava mais fazer manis rosas e de Halloween.... hahahahahahaha... Agora é partir para as manis azuis e em seguida vem o Natal! Uhuuuuulllll!
How are you doing?
The month is finally over! I have to admit I couldn't stand making pink and Halloween manis anymore... hahahahahaha... Now it's up to the blue manis and Christmas is just around the corner! Uhuuuuuuullll! 

O desencalhado do mês é o Psico da Risqué, coleção Isabeli Fontana. No rótulo diz que ele é metálico, mas eu acho que é um crelly com shimmer azul. Super hiper aguado, mas cobre na segunda camada. Lembro que antes de entrar no vício eu amava os esmaltes da marca. Confesso que hoje não tenho a mínima paciência. Ainda bem que faço esmaltação americana... já imaginaram a inundação? Kkkkkkkkkkk
This month's untried polish is Psico by the Brazilian brand Risqué, from the Isabeli Fontana collection. On the label it says it's a metallic polish, but I think is a crelly with blue shimmer. Very watery formula, but it gets opaque on the second coat. I remember I used to love this brand before I became a NPA. Now, I have to say I just don't have the patience for watery formulas anymore. 

 
Para fazer uma graça nele e fechar o mês com a última esmaltação de Halloween, carimbei as teias de aranha da placona DRK-A usando o esmalte prata para carimbo da La Femme.
Next, for a last Halloween look, I stamped it with a spider web from the big image plate DRK-A using a silver stamping polish by another Brazilian brand called La Femme. 

Finalizei diretamente com o Matte Top Coat da OPI achando que fosse dar o mesmo efeito apagado que tive nessa mani aqui, mas ele não reagiu da mesma forma. Mesmo assim, gostei bastante do resultado.
Then I finished it directly with the Matte Top Coat by OPI thinking I would achieve the same faded effect I had on this mani here, but it didn't react the same way. Anyway, I still like the result.

[Lacquer Legion Challenge] #LLAfterDark

A mani de hoje para o desafio do The Lacquer Legion é no tema do Halloween, e sinceramente, foi uma das piores que já fiz. Estava totalmente sem inspiração.

Today's mani for The Lacquer Legion challenge has to do with Halloween, and honestly, it's one of the worst I've ever made. I was totally out of inspiration.

No polegar e no anelar foram duas camadas do Atomic Orange (OPI), no médio e no mindinho duas do Grape Pop (China Glaze) e no indicador duas do Black Is Black (Essence). 

On the thumb and ring finger I applied two coats of Atomic Orange (OPI), on the middle and pinky two of Grape Pop (China Glaze) an on the index two of Black Is Black (Essence).

Os morcegos e os corvos são da plaquinha Gothic Collection 07 e a lápide, a teia de aranha e os símbolos místicos são da Gothic Collection 01 da MoYou London. O esmalte preto para carimbo é o 2 Black da Mundo de Uñas e o prata é o da La Femme.  

The bats and crows are from the image plate Gothic Collection 07 and the tombstone, spider web and mystic symbols are from Gothic Collection 01 by MoYou London. The black stamping polish is 2 Black by Mundo de Uñas and the silver is from a Brazilian brand called La Femme.

Sinceramente, não gostei. Acho que poderia ter feito melhor, mas estava sem inspiração e sem tempo para fazer outra. 

O que vocês acharam? Dá pra salvar ou ficou uma m... mesmo?

Honestly, I don't like it. I think I could've done better, but I completely lacked inspiration and time to make another one. What do you think? Is it acceptable or is it total shit?

Water Marble for Halloween

Esse mês eu decidi que farei mais manis de Halloween do que no ano passado. Agora só tenho que ver se conseguirei né?!
This month I decided I'll make more Halloween manis than last year. Now I just have to see if I get to do them, right?!

 Resolvi começar com o meu segundo water marble bem sucedido, usando cores típicas do Halloween: preto, laranja e roxo.
I started with my second successful water marble, using colours that are typical on Halloween: black, orange and purple.

 Usei esse tutorial aqui da rainha do water marble Mucking Fusser e as cores: Atomic Orange (OPI), Black (Colorama), Grape Pop (China Glaze) e Storm (Zoya).

Simplesmente amei essa mani e estou muito orgulhosa do resultado. Fiz as pazes com a técnica e quero tentar muitas outras vezes.
I simply love this mani and I'm very proud of the result. I made peace with this technique and I want to try it much more now.
