I have to admit I did this mani because it was on my to-do list for a long time and I find it very pretty. Then I just used the movie The Beach as excuse for the inspiration. Heheheheh

Oi lindonaaaaaaas!
Good afternoon pretties!

Mês passado eu não tive tempo de passar por aqui porque estou treinando muito. Para quem não sabe, estou estudando para virar Personal Trainer e instrutora de Fitness. Minha rotina é casa-trabalho-academia-casa todos os dias da semana e quatro horas de treino no fim de semana (2 no sábado e 2 no domingo).
Por isso tem ficado difícil de cuidar das unhas. Dá para ver como as minhas cutículas estão judiadas né? :(
Last month I didn't have time to be present because I'm training a lot. For those who don't know, I'm studying to become a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. My daily routine is home-work-gym-home every working day and 4 hours training on the weekends (2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday).
That's why it's been difficult to take care of my nails. You can see how dry my cuticles are. :(

Hoje tem um encalhadinho lindo por aqui. Comprei há um tempão e só agora que consegui usá-lo.
Today I have a gorgeous unused polish to show you. I bought it a long time ago.

My Current Crush - OPI

Cobriu perfeitamente com duas camadas e foi fácil de limpar. Ele é diferente dos outros liquid sands da marca. Seca com um aspecto menos texturizado, mais lisinho.... parecido com a textura do DS Lapis.
It gets fully opaque with two coats and it was easy to clean. It's different than the other liquid sands by OPI. It dries to a less textured finish, smoother... a bit like DS Lapis.

Realmente, esse está muito melhor de aplicar do que o The Man With The Golden Gun. Os flocos de ouro estão mais concentrados e não precisa ficar pescando. Muito amor!

Indeed, this one is much easier to apply than TMWTGG. The gold flakes are more concentrated and we don't need to fish them. I love it!

This is one of the oldest unused polishes ever! My first liquid sand polishes were the ones from the mini kit OPI by Mariah Carey and they stayed in the unused box since then.

Esse tempo todo tendo deixado o bonito encalhado e ele engrossou pra cacete. Não gostei não. A cor é linda, mas foi mó saquinho de esmaltar!

All this time having left this beauty in the box and it became so thick. I didn't like it. The color is gorgeous, but it was a pain in the butt to apply!
I'll see if I can fix it with diluent, if not it's lost... mimimimi

So, didn't I tell you I was going to show what I did with Wintergreen?! I simply love this mani. It was a little annoying to make, I had to be very patient, but it was worth it.

Como eu disse na resenha da Born Pretty semana passada, aqui vão os detalhes da mani que fiz com o lápis para pegar pedrinhas, inspirada pela Sonia (@badgirlnails).

As I said on the Born Pretty review last week, here are the details of the mani I made with the rhinestone picker, inspired by Sonia (@badgirlnails).

Como base foram duas camadas do Glistening Snow da China Glaze. Ele é um glitter forte holográfico maravilhoso. Amo tanto esse esmalte que só uso para filha única ou gêmeas, como vocês já viram várias vezes por aqui. Na foto acima ele está sem top coat e na foto abaixo com top coat.

As base I applied two coats of Glistening Snow by China Glaze. It's a wonderful rough holo glitter. I love this polish so much I only use it for accent nails, as you saw here several times. On the picture above it's without top coat and on the picture bellow it's with top coat.

Depois do top coat bem sequinho, coloquei as fitinhas e passei uma camada generosa do Eurso Euro (OPI) por cima e retirei as fitinhas logo em seguida.

After the top coat was completely dry, I applied some stripping tape and a generous coat of Eurso Euro (OPI) on top and pulled off the tape right away.

Coloquei os blings, que gosto tanto, e finalizei com o Matte Top Coat da OPI. Simplesmente amei essa mani.

I placed the blings I love so much and finished it with the Matte Top Coat by OPI. I simply love this mani.

A mani de hoje eu fiz na metade de outubro, mas só agora que tive tempo de postar.

I did this mani in mid-October but only had time to publish it now.

Desde que vi o My Voice is a Little Norse da coleção Nordic da O.P.I. eu sabia que precisava dele. Mesmo tendo inúmeros glitters na minha coleção, eles são todos diferentes né?
Passei uma camada generosa sobre o Prune Minimale (Yves Saint Laurent), mas acho que poderia ter passado uma camada mais fina.
Since I saw My Voice is a Little Norse from the Nordic collection by O.P.I. I knew I needed it. Although I have numerous glitters in my stash, they're all different, right?
I applied one generous coat over Prune Minimale (Yves Saint Laurent), but I think I could've applied a thinner coat instead.

Na verdade, ele até parece bastante com o Glistening Snow da China Glaze, mas como nunca usei o GS por cima de nenhum outro esmalte, não tenho certeza. Seria até uma boa idéia fazer um post comparativo né? O que vocês acham?
Actually, it even looks a lot like Glistening Snow by China Glaze, but since I never used GS on top of any other polish, I'm not sure. It would be a good idea to make a comparison post, don't you think?

Lembro que esmaltei numa quarta à noite e não tive luz suficiente para tirar boas fotos na quinta de manhã, por isso aproveitei o sol do sábado seguinte para tirar fotos dele brilhando. Muito lindo esse esmalte. Terei que tentar com outras cores de base também.
I remember I did this mani on a Wednesday evening and didn't have enough light on Thursday morning to take good pictures, so I took advantage of the following sunny Saturday to take sparkling pictures. This polish is really gorgeous. I have to try it with different base colours as well.
