Good afternoon pretties!

A mani de hoje é mais uma mani linda (sem modéstia... hehehehe) e que eu amei fazer.
Fiz exatamente a mesma mani aqui, só que com cores diferentes.
Today's mani is one of the pretties (no modesty here... hehehehe) and I loved to make it.
I made the exact same one here, but with different colors.

Como passaram o Natal?
O nosso foi MARAVILHOSOOOOOO! Chegamos em Búzios ontem e vamos ficar aqui com o me pai e a namorada dele, minha irmã e o namorado dela até a nossa volta. Que felicidadeeeeee!

How was your Christmass?

Ours was WONDERFUL! We arrived in Búzios yesterday and we're staying here with my dad and his girlfriend, my sister and her boyfriend until our last day. I'm so happyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Esse é mais um sand lindo, o It's Raining Stars da Bourjois. Realmente, a Bourjois arrasou com essa coleção viu?! Esse é mais um super fácil de esmaltar e lindo de morrer.

This is another gorgeous liquid sand, the It's Raining Stars by Bourjois. Seriously, Bourjois really nailed it with this collection! Another one very easy to apply and extremely beautiful.

Infelizmente esse foi mais um que não testei a durabilidade, mas prometo que testarei antes de postar o próximo. 
Unfortunately, this was another one I didn't test the durability, but I promise I'll test before sharing the next one.

Esse esmalte é a cara do Ano Novo né? Mas nem foi o que eu usei não. Usei um dos meus novos divinissimos da coleção Princesas e Vilãs da Disney da Esmaltes da Kelly. Mas nem vou falar qual foi não! Mostrarei  a vocês depois.
This is a perfect polish for New Year right? But it wasn't this one I wore. I wore one of my brand new gorgeous polishes from the Disney's Princesses and Villains collection by Esmaltes da Kelly. But I won't tell you which one! I'll show you later.

I Like To Mauve It - Bourjois

Good morning beauties!

Desculpem pelo atraso, mas essa semana é fechamento para as férias e estou atolada de trabalho. 

Era para eu trazer uma nail art para vocês, mas não tive tempo de passar as fotos para o computador e colocar a marca d'água... =/

Por isso vamos de esmalte divo que recompensa né?

Sorry I'm late, but this week is the closure period at work before going on vacation and I'm crazy busy (as usual).

I wanted to bring you a nail art, but I didn't have time to upload the pictures to the computer and put the watermark... =/

So I picked a gorgeous polish to compensate. 

Esse é o I Like To Mauve It da Bourjois. Eu nem sabia que eles tinham feito esmaltes com acabamento texturizado, mas quando vi uma das blogueiras brasileiras comentando, tive que correr para garantir os meus.

This is I Like To Mauve It by Bourjois. I didn't even know they made textured polishes, but when I read a Brazilian blog talking about them, I had to go get mine.

São quatro esmaltes e tive a sorte de conseguir todos. Aos pouquinhos vou mostrando pra vocês aqui. Mas falando desse lindo, ele é um vermelho vinho com um shimmer dourado alucinante. 

There are four polishes and I was lucky enough to get all of them. I'll slowly show them here to you. But talking about this beauty, it's a wine shade with some gorgeous golden shimmer.

Cobre perfeitamente em duas camadas e apesar do shimmer, é fácil de limpar. Na época que eu esmaltei com ele estava trocando de mani 3 vezes por semana, por isso não posso falar da durabilidade. Mas usá-lo de novo para testar.

It gets fully opaque in two coats and although having a lot of shimmer, it's easy to clean. At the time I used it I was changing manis 3 times a week, so I can't talk about durability. But I'll use it again to test it.

Dangerous Wish - Bourjois

O esmalte de hoje é um dos glitters mais lindos que eu tenho e que para a minha surpresa fez sucesso nas unhas de quem eu menos esperava!

Today's polish is one of the prettiest glitters I own and that was a success on the nails of the person I least expected!

O Dangerous Wish faz parte da mini coleção de Halloween que a Bourjois lançou ano passado. Já tinha usado em filha única nessa mani aqui, mas foi a primeira vez que usei-o sozinho.

Dangerous Wish is part of the mini Halloween collection Bourjois released last year. I had already used it as accent nail on this mani here, but this was the first time I wore it on them all.

Achei que fosse base preta, mas na verdade é um verde musgo quase preto, com glitters hexagonais dourados e poeirinha holográfica. Cobre super bem com duas camadas e vem carregado de glitter. Nada de pescaria não. Bourjois nota 10, mais uma vez!

I thought it was a black base, but it's actually a deep dark green, with golden hex glitters and holo dust. I gets fully opaque in two coats and the brush comes full of glitter. No need for fishing. Bourjois scored once again!

Agora, a minha surpresa foi a minha sogra ter gostado, e no fim de semana passado eu esmaltei as unhas dela com esse divo. Duas semanas antes eu tinha esmaltado as unhas dela com o Coronation (Cirque) e fez o maior sucesso entre as amigas dela. Gente, fiquei tão, mas tão feliz. Adoro a minha sogra e foi a primeira vez que ela me pediu para fazer uma coisa especial para o aniversário dela. 

Now, my surprise was that my mother-in-law liked it and last weekend I did her nails with this gorgeous. Two weeks before I did her nails with Coronation (Cirque) and it was a success among her friends. Guys, I was so so happy with it. I love my mother-in-law and it was the first time she asked me to do something special for her birthday.

Cute Frankenstein

Por aqui tudo enlouquecedoramente ótimo. Saí de um desafio para entrar em outro e continuo com o tempo escasso... kkkkkk
Mas estou conseguindo cumprir o meu objetivo de fazer mais manis para o Halloween esse ano e amei essa daqui. Acho que ficou muito fofa mesmo.
How are you doing?
I'm happily crazy busy. I finished a challenge to start another and I'm still lacking time.
But I'm being able to make more Halloween manis this year and I love this one. I think it turned out super cute.

Comecei com duas camadas do Lime Catwalk da Bourjois, outro encalhadinho. Achei a fórmula dele um tiquinho mais fluída do que os outros da linha, mas nada que escorra em litros para as cutículas. Cobre super bem em duas camadas, seca rápido e é fácil de limpar.
I started off with two coats of Lime Catwalk by Bourjois, another untried. I think its formula is a little more fluid than the other ones from this line, but nothing like liters of polish running to the cuticles. It gets fully opaque in two coats, dries quickly and it's easy to clean.
 

Desenhei o Frankenstein no indicador usando tinta acrílica preta e esse tutorial aqui. A noiva dele eu copiei de uma foto que não lembro onde vi. Os olhinhos e o detalhe no cabelo da noiva também fiz com tinta.
I drew the cute Frankenstein on the index using black acrylic paint and this tutorial here. I made his bride according to a picture I saw somewhere. The eyes and the detail on the bride's hair I also made with paint.
 

Nas outras unhas apenas fiz as cicatrizes com pontos para não deixar sem nada. Uma camadinha do extra brilho com óleo de argan da Ideal e voilà.
On the other nails I only made the scars with stitches so they would have something on them. I topped everything with the Brazilian top coat by Ideal (which I've been using a lot lately) and voilà.

[Pink October] #1: I ♥ Paris

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo ótimo. Acho que agora posso relaxar, né?
Como vocês já devem ter visto por aí, o mês de Outubro é o mês da Conscientização Sobre o Câncer de Mama e quem me acompanha desde o começo sabe que todo ano eu participo da campanha esmaltando as unhas de rosa uma vez por semana.
How are you doing? Everything is great here. Now I can relax, right?
As you may have seen around, October is the month for Breast Cancer Awareness and those who follow me here since the beginning know I participate every year wearing pink nails once a week.

Começo o mês com uma esmaltação que eu amei, homenageando uma das minhas cidades preferidas: Paris. No polegar e no dedo médio foram duas camadas do It's Raining Stars da Bourjois, que faz parte da edição limitada de esmaltes sand que eles lançaram. Consegui comprar os quatro da coleção e mostrarei um por um, separadamente, para vocês verem.
So let's start the month with a mani I love, honouring one of my favourite cities: Paris. On the thumb and middle fingers are two coats of It's Raining Stars by Bourjois, which is part of their limited edition of liquid sand. I got all four of them and I'll show you one by one afterwards.
 

No indicador e no mindinho fiz um dégradé com o Free Hugs (Essence) e o Rose Cupcake (Bourjois), cobri com o meu queridinho extra brilho da ideal e depois de bem sequinho coloquei as fitinhas para fazer chevron. Passei o Black Is Black (Essence) por cima e tirei as fitinhas logo em seguida.
On the index and pinky I made a gradient with Free Hugs (Essence) and Rose Cupcake (Bourjois), topped it with my favourite Brazilian top coat by Ideal and after it was very dry I place the chevron vinyls. I applied Black Is Black (Essence) and took the vinyls off right away.
 

No anelar foram duas camadas do Rose Cupcake, top coat fosco para ajudar no desenho e fiz a Tour Eiffel a mão livre usando tinta acrílica. Do ladinho dela coloquei dois blings só para dar um charme (porque não tinha brilho suficiente nessa mani sabem?!... kkkkkkk)
On the ring finger I applied tow coats of Rose Cupcake, topped it with matte top coat to help drawing and freehanded the Eiffel Tower using acrylic paint. I place two blings next to it just to decorate a bit more (because this mani wasn't sparkly enough you know?!... LMAO) 
 

Simplesmente amei essa mani. Espero que vocês tenham gostado também. Aproveito para dizer que (finalmente) saio em férias amanhã de madrugada e passarei a semana que vem em Portugal, por isso deixarei os posts programados e retribuirei as visitas e responderei os comentários quando voltar, ok?

31DC2014 Day 18: Half Moons

Gostaria de me desculpar pela ausência nos blogs de vocês, mas está sendo impossível acompanhar tudo tendo que fazer um post por dia. Assim que o desafio terminar eu comento em todos os blogs participantes. Enquanto isso, vou tentando acompanhar todos os outros.
I'd like to apologize for not visiting you lately, but it's impossible to follow everything while making a blog post a day. I'll go comment on all the participant's blogs as long as the challenge is over. In the mean time, I try to follow the others.

Para as unhas meia-lua, aproveitei o tema da Esmaltadas de Leitoras para esse mês e uni o útil ao agradável. A Alice pediu para fazer uma homa mani, eu perguntei à ela se podia ter arte e ela disse que sim, daí surgiu a idéia para essa mani.
For half moons mani I used this month's theme for Esmaltadas de Leitoras (reader's manis), a monthly post put together by one of my Brazilian fellow bloggers where everyone can participate. She asked us to create a homa mani. I don't know if there's a name for that art in English, but it consists in picking two different colors and painting two fingers with one colour (ring finger and pinky) and other two with the other colour (middle and index). The thumb can be any of the two colours, as you wish. The colours must be inverted on the other hand. I asked her if I could do some art with it and she said yes and that's how I got this idea.

No polegar, anelar e mindinho passei duas camadas do Blue No Blues da Bourjois e no indicador e médio duas do Laced Up da China Glaze. Passei top coat em todos para proteger.
On the thumb, ring finger and pinky I applied two coats of Blue No Blues by Bourjois and on the index and middle finger two of Laced Up by China Glaze. I top coat everything to protect it. 

Depois de bem sequinho, unha por unha, fui colocando aqueles adesivinhos de proteção para folhas de fichário (aqueles redondinhos, para não rasgar o furo na folha, sabem?), passando o esmalte por cima e retirando logo em seguida.
After it was all dry, nail by nail, I placed those round protection stickers for binder paper sheets (those to protect to hole from being ripped apart, you know?), applied the other polish on top and pulled it up.

No Laced Up eu passei duas camadas do Blue No Blues e vice-versa. Na outra mão eu inverti a ordem das cores, como manda o figurino. Depois foi só passar mais uma camada de top coat e voilà. Super fácil. :-D
On top of Laced Up I applied two coats of Blue No Blues and vice-versa. On the other hand I inverted the order of the colours, as it's supposed to be. Then a last coat of top coat and voilà. Quite easy. :-D

Gostaria de me desculpar pela ausência na maioria dos blogs de vocês. Com o trabalho a tempo integral, academia 5 vezes por semana e fazendo as unhas todos os dias, meus dias ficaram ainda mais curtos. Prometo que assim que a loucura acabar eu me redimo, ok?
Are you tired of me already? I hope not.
I'd like to apologize for my absence on most of your blogs. With a full-time job, gym 5 times a week and doing a mani a day, my days are even shorter.
I promise I'll redeem myself as soon as this madness ends, ok?

Queria uma mani super elaborada, cheia de fitinhas e talz, mas como tinha pouco tempo para fazê-la ontem à noite, acabei optando pelo (relativamente) rápido e fácil. Me inspirei nessa mani aqui da Mary Monkett.
I wanted a very elaborate mani, full of tapes and stuff, but since I have little time to do it yesterday evening, I pick something (relatively) quick and easy. I was inspired by this mani here from Mary Monkett.

Comecei com apenas uma camada do Francesinha (Ellen Gold) como base e passei top coat para proteger. Depois, unha por unha, fui colocando as fitinhas bem fininhas (aquelas chatinhas que não fixam direito) e preenchendo os espaços.
I started with only one coat of Francesinha (Ellen Gold) as base and top coated it to protect. Then, nail by nails, I placed the stripping tape and filled the spaces.

O rosa mais claro é o Peach and Love (Bourjois), o do meio é o Pink Punch (Barry M) - que ainda mostrarei por aqui - e o scattered holo da pontinha é o Miss Conduct (Orly) - que merece um post melhor, por isso não vou linkar aqui. (Ignorem o vidrinho que veio sujo)
The lightest pink is Peach and Love (Bourjois), the middle pink is Pink Punch (Barry M) - which I'll still show here - and the scattered holo at the tip is Miss Conduct (Orly) - which deserves a better post, so I won't link it here. (Ignore the bottle that came dirty)

Para não arrastar o bagulho todo, passei top coat na diagonal, seguindo a direção das listras. Não sei onde foi que vi essa dica, mas essa pessoa salvou a minha vida! \o/
In order to keep my stripes neat and not drag the whole thing, I applied the top coat diagonally, following the direction of the stripes. I don't know where I've seen it, but this person saved my life! \o/

Good morning pretties!

Pontinhos, pontinhos e mais pontinhos... essa é uma das técnicas que mais gosto, por ser fácil de fazer e não precisar de muita perfeição (apesar de eu sempre buscá-la... kkkkk).
Dots, dots and more dots... this is one of my favourite techniques, because it's easy to make and doesn't require much perfectionism (even though I'm always striving for it... LMAO).

Para essa mani vez resolvi reinventar uma mani que já tinha feito lá no comecinho do blog e que foi uma cópia de um das manis da francesa Pshiiit. Curiosas? Olhem aqui.
For this mani I decided to recreate a mani I've copied from the French blogger Pshiiit when I first started blogging. Curious? Check it out here. 

No indicador, médio e mindinho foram duas camadas do Corail Magique (Bourjois) e fiz as bolinhas com o roxo; e no polegar e no anelar duas camadas do Grape Pop (China Glaze) e fiz as bolinhas com o coral.
On the index, middle finger and pinky are two coats of Corail Magique (Bourjois) and made the dots with purple; and on the thumb and ring finger are two coats of Grape Pop (China Glaze) and made the dots with the coral.

Já usei essa mesma combinação nesse post aqui, participando do New 31DC2013 e estava doida para usá-la de novo pois acho tão linda.
I've used the same colour combo on this post here, participating of the New 31DC2013 and I was dying to use it again because I think it's very pretty.

Aproveitei para testar um novo top coat da Essence, mas o coitado não deu conta do recado. Vocês podem ver a nail art de lençol no anelar... rsrsrsrsrss
I took the opportunity to test a new top coat by Essence, but poor him, he couldn't handle it. You can see the bed sheet nail art on the ring finger... LOL
