Primeira vez que vejo um esmalte branco fosco. Parece corretivo gente! Hahahaha
Foi fácil de aplicar a não manchou. Usei uma base fosca para não deixar marcas de pincel. Usei dois lados do mesmo boleador, um grande e um pequeno. Amei o resultado.
First time I see a white matte polish. It looks like correction fluid! Hahahaha
It was easy to apply and it doesn't stain. I used a matte base to avoid brush strokes. I used both sides of the same dotting tool, one big and one small. I love the result.

Para a mani de hoje resolvi usar uma combinação de cores bem contrastante. Como amarelo e roxo são cores opostas que se complementam, dá para usar numa boa sem causar o efeito desconfortável que o vermelho e verde juntos causam. :)
How are you doing?
For today's mani I decided to go for a contrasting color combo. Since yellow and purple are oposite colores that complement each other, it's easy to use without having the discomfort that red and green cause when paired. :)

Fiz as listras à mão livre com pincel fininho e longo e as bolinhas com o boleador pequeno. As florzinhas também fiz com o boleador.
Amei o resultado!
I freehanded the stripes with a thin striping brush and made the dots with a tiny dotting tool. I also used a dotting tool for the flowers.
I love the result!

[Then & Now] Refazendo Manis #1: Dotticure

Sabe aquele dia que o tempo já está escasso e ainda por cima falta inspiração? Pois é, foi o caso dessa mani.

You know one of those days you don't have enough time to paint your nails and lack of inspiration? Well, it's the case here.

Há tempos que quero refazer algumas das manis do começo do blog e essa foi a oportunidade que eu precisava.

It's been a long time I want to repeat one of my manis from when I started blogging and this was the opportunity I needed.

Os esmaltes escolhidos foram o Break Through (Essence) e o Penélope Charmosa (Risqué). Até tentei tirar uma fotinha do Break Through sozinho, mas ficou muito ruim. Tirarei uma próxima vez sob a luz do dia.

The polishes are Break Through (Essence) and Penelope Charmosa (Risqué). I even tried to take a picture of Break Through by itself, but it was horrible. So I'll try again some other time under daylight.

Para fazer as bolinhas usei um boleador médio e esmalte branco junto com o Penelope Charmosa e o Break Through.

To make the dots I used a medium dotting tool and white nail polish together with Penelope Charmosa and Break Through.

E aqui a foto e o post da primeira vez que fiz essa mani e agora. Muito, mas muito melhor agora né?!

[Movember] #3: Mix 'n Match for Nailstorming

Mais uma vez resolvi participar do Nailstorming de domingo - uma brincadeira organizada todos os domingos pela francesa Emma do blog Mademoiselle Emma - e esse domingo o tema é Novembro Azul.

Once again I decided to join the Sunday Nailstorming - a challenge organized every Sunday by the French blogger Emma from Mademoiselle Emma - and this Sunday's theme is Blue November.

Fiz a mix 'n match usando o The King da Missp, por isso tirei uma foto dele peladinho para vocês verem. Não sei o que está errado nas configurações da câmera, mas todos os azuis nesse tom tem ficado bem elétricos e os rosas choque tem ficado vermelhos. Não é Photoshopis não viu gente?! Foram duas camadas e esse brilho é todo dele mesmo.
I made a mix 'n match using The King by Missp, so I took a picture of it "naked" so you can see. I don't know what's wrong with the settings of my camera, but all those shades of blue are way brighter than real and the hot pinks are turning red. There's no Photoshop there, ok?! Here are two coats and this is its own natural shine.

Deixei-o no anelar e no polegar e fui brincar com a M&M. No médio foram duas camadas do Maliblue (Catrice), no mindinho e no indicador duas do Coconut (Barry M). No polegar fiz poás usando o menor boleador que tenho e o Coconut mesmo e no mindinho usando o The King. No indicador eu ia fazer listras, mas não ficaram legais, dai optei por simples studs azuis.
I kept it on the ring finger and on the thumb and went playing with the M&M. On the middle finger are two coats of Maliblue (Catrice), on the pinky and index two of Coconut (Barry M). On the thumb I made dots using the smallest dotting tool I own and Coconjt itself and on the pinky using The King. On the index I was going to make stripes, but they didn't look nice, so I just went with simple studs.

Para finalizar fiz um Monsieur no anelar, diferente do ano passado. Usei tinta acrílica preta e um pincel para detalhes. Porque não poderia faltar um bigodinho nesse mês né? 
To finish off I made a Monsieur on the ring finger, different than last year's. I used acrylic paint and a detail brush. Of course I couldn't let November go by without a mustache, right?

Para a mani de hoje tive menos sucesso do que para a mani de ontem. Acho tão ruim quando um dia faço uma mani linda e a do dia seguinte não corresponde às minhas expectativas... rsrsrsr
Mas sabemos que vida de nailista é isso mesmo né? Nem sempre funfa... kkkk
For today's mani I was less succesful. I find so annoying when I make a pretty mani one day and the day after it doesn't meet my expectations... 
But we know a nailista's life is like that right? When can't always get it right... LOL

Me inspirei nesse vestido aqui do Valentino. Decididamente, descobri que gosto das criações dele sem nem notar que são dele. Essa é a segunda vez que escolho um Valentino como inspiração fashion.
I got inspired by this dress by Valentino. Definitely, I found out I like his creations without even know they're his. This is the second time I pick a Valentino as a fashion inspiration.

A mani é bem elaborada, mas super fácil de fazer. Ia usar as fitinhas para delimitar as áreas de cores, mas acabei perdendo a paciência e fazendo tudo à mão livre mesmo.
The mani is quite elaborate, but very easy to make. I was going to use stripping tape to delimit the areas of the colours, but I lost my patience and ended by freehanding it all.

Os esmaltes escolhidos foram o The Pinky and The Brain da Catrice, o Black Is Black da Essence, o 238 Martha Red da Kiko e o Francesinha da Ellen Gold que eu coloquei em um vidrinho vazio da Essence por causa do pincel perfeito! Paula, você é uma "gênia"!
The polishes used were The Pinky and The Brain by Catrice, Black Is Black by Essence, 238 Martha Red by Kiko and Francesinha by Ellen Gold that I poured into a an empty Essence bottle because of tis perfect brush! Paula, you're a genious!

Só acho que deveria ter escolhido um rosa mais claro porque ele ficou muito próximo do vermelho. Mas só fui ver quando passei as fotos para o computador e não deu tempo de trocar porque já estava tarde.
I just think I should have chosen I brighter pink because it ended up being to close to the red. But I only saw that when I uploaded the pictures to the computer and I didn't have time to change because it was already late.

Uma pena, pois gostei bastante da idéia. E vocês, qual o estilista preferido de vocês?
It's a shame because I really like the idea. What about you? What's your favourite couturier?

Pontinhos, pontinhos e mais pontinhos... essa é uma das técnicas que mais gosto, por ser fácil de fazer e não precisar de muita perfeição (apesar de eu sempre buscá-la... kkkkk).
Dots, dots and more dots... this is one of my favourite techniques, because it's easy to make and doesn't require much perfectionism (even though I'm always striving for it... LMAO).

Para essa mani vez resolvi reinventar uma mani que já tinha feito lá no comecinho do blog e que foi uma cópia de um das manis da francesa Pshiiit. Curiosas? Olhem aqui.
For this mani I decided to recreate a mani I've copied from the French blogger Pshiiit when I first started blogging. Curious? Check it out here. 

No indicador, médio e mindinho foram duas camadas do Corail Magique (Bourjois) e fiz as bolinhas com o roxo; e no polegar e no anelar duas camadas do Grape Pop (China Glaze) e fiz as bolinhas com o coral.
On the index, middle finger and pinky are two coats of Corail Magique (Bourjois) and made the dots with purple; and on the thumb and ring finger are two coats of Grape Pop (China Glaze) and made the dots with the coral.

Já usei essa mesma combinação nesse post aqui, participando do New 31DC2013 e estava doida para usá-la de novo pois acho tão linda.
I've used the same colour combo on this post here, participating of the New 31DC2013 and I was dying to use it again because I think it's very pretty.

Aproveitei para testar um novo top coat da Essence, mas o coitado não deu conta do recado. Vocês podem ver a nail art de lençol no anelar... rsrsrsrsrss
I took the opportunity to test a new top coat by Essence, but poor him, he couldn't handle it. You can see the bed sheet nail art on the ring finger... LOL

Já cansaram de mim? Espero que não, pois estou apenas começando... Hehehheeheheh
Para a mani de hoje eu recriei essa mani aqui da minha convidada V.I.P.A. do sábado passado, mas nem de longe a minha mani ficou tão delicada quanto à dela.
Are you tired of me already? I hope not, because I'm only in the beginning... LOL
For today's mani I recreated this mani here by my V.I.P.A. guest from last Saturday, but mine is not as delicate as hers.

Comecei com a base fosca e depois de bem sequinha coloquei aqueles adesivos redondinhos para fazer a meia-lua e passei o Swagger da piCture pOlish que já apareceu aqui.
I started with a matte base coat and when I was completely dry I applied those round stickers to create a half moon and painted over with Swagger by piCture pOlish that was already here on the blog. 

Depois desenhei essas gotinhas no espaço da meia lua com esmalte branco e fiz as bolinhas com boleador médio. Acho que se eu tivesse desenhado as gotinhas/pétalas com tinta acrílica teria ficado mais delicado.
The I drew these kind of drops on the half moon space using white polish and made the dots with a medium dotting tool. I think it would've turned more delicate if I have used acrylic paint to draw the drops/petals.

Mas só pensei nisso depois que já tinha começado com o esmalte e como fiz as unhas ontem à noite, já não tinha mais tempo para consertar... rsrsrsrsrs
But I only thought of that after I had already started with the polish and since I did my nails yesterday evening, I didn't have time to fix it anymore... LOL 

No final das contas, gostei do resultado, apesar de não ter ficado tão delicado quanto eu queria. E vocês, o que acharam?
At the end, I like the result, even if it's not as delicate as I wanted it to be. What about you? What do you think?

Para compensar o desastre de domingo, hoje venho mostrar uma mani fofa que fiz para ir à um concerto de música clássica na Holanda. Eu sei que não tenho cara de quem gosta de música clássica, mas sei apreciar. A mãe do meu amor trabalha em uma ONG, chamada Soroptimist International, que desenvolve projetos para alfabetizar mulheres de todas as idades em países onde a educação é proibida para elas.

To compensate Sunday's disaster, today I bring you a cute mani I did for a classical music concert I went in The Netherlands. I know I don't look like someone who likes classical music, but I can appreciate it. My mother-in-law works for a NGO, called Soroptimist International, that develops projects to alphabetize women of all ages in countries where education is not allowed for them.

Blue For November #2: Whimsy - piCture pOlish

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui sim, ainda um pouco dolorida por causa do excesso de esporte, mas eu adoroooooooooo! Achei que fosse sofrer muito por causa da maratona de domingo, mas nem foi tão horrível assim não. Hehehehehehe. Hoje trago mais uma mani para representar o Novembro Azul, e tenho que colocar a modéstia na gavetinha e reconhecer que minhas esmaltações estão cada vez mais lindas. Que orgulhoooooooooo! *.*
All good over there? Over here it is, I’m still a little sore because of the excess of sports, but I loooooooooove it! I thought I was going to suffer a lot because of Sunday’s marathon, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Hehehehehe. Today I come with another mani to represent Blue for November, and I have to put my modesty in a little drawer and recognize that my manis are getting prettier and prettier. I’m sooooooooooo proud! *.*

But before going on with the post i have to make a confession: I’m a zero creativity person. I've always been good at copying, when I was a child I used to copy drawings exactly how they were, I could even make them bigger, but could never create something myself.
