Good afternoon pretty people!

Esse ano fui de música brasileira de novo porque as saudades são imensas e nada melhor do que o rei Alceu Valença para preencher o vazio né?
Fui inspirada pela música Coração Bobo e simplesmente amei essa mani.
I picked a Brazilian song again because I miss Brazil so much and nothing better than that to fill in the emptiness, right?
I was inspired by a song called Silly Heart and I simply love this mani.

Usei o Über Mat pela primeira vez e, decididamente, foi o mehor investimento dos últimos tempos. Ficou muito mais fácil de fazer decalques de carimbada. :)
I used the Über Mat for the first time and, definitely, this was the best investment I did lately. It's much easier to make stamping decals now. :)

A mani de hoje é mais uma mani linda (sem modéstia... hehehehe) e que eu amei fazer.
Fiz exatamente a mesma mani aqui, só que com cores diferentes.
Today's mani is one of the pretties (no modesty here... hehehehe) and I loved to make it.
I made the exact same one here, but with different colors.

You know how much I love making stamping decals right? I haven't tried making them directly on the stamper, so I don't know which technique is best, but I learned with this tutorial here.

Review BP-24 Stamping Plate by Born Pretty

This is the last review of the plates I got from Born Pretty Store and it's another one I love.

Esse azul divo é o Bleu Majorelle da Yves Saint Laurent, que ainda não consegui fotografar sozinho. Nas gêmeas foram duas camadas do Francesinha (Ellen Gold).

This gorgeous blue is Bleu Majorelle by Yves Saint Laurent, which I couldn't make a picture of it by itself yet. On the accent nails I applied two coats of Francesinha (Ellen Gold).

Para as flores fiz a carimbada invertida usando a plaquinha BP-24 e preenchi-as com um esmalte coral lindo que a Paula me deu e como coral pertence à família do vermelho, a câmera decidiu que ele ficaria vermelho mesmo... Rsrsrsrsrsrsrs 

For the flowers I made stamping decals using the plate BP-24 and filled them with a pretty coral polish Paula sent me and since coral belongs to the red color family, the camera decided it would look only red... Rsrsrsrsrsrss

[Movember] #1: Flowers with Damson - Barry M

Vocês já devem estar sabendo o Novembro Azul é o mês da conscientização sobre o Câncer de Próstata né? Outubro é para as mulheres, novembro para os homens. E nós da comunidade esmaltística abraçamos a causa não só espalhando a informação, mas representando-a nas unhas também. Por isso esse mês será repleto de manis azuis. Nem gosto né?! Hahahahhahaha
You might know by know that Movember is the Prostate Cancer Awareness month, right? October is for women, November is for men. And we from the Nail Art Community embrace the cause not only spreading the information, but representing it on our nails. So, this month will be full of blue manis here. I don't even like it right?! Hahahahahaha

Gostaria de dizer também que comecei uma nova função no meu trabalho ontem e que estou com muito mais tarefas, muito menos tempo e mais restrições em relação à internet. Por isso deixarei meus posts programados e vou respondendo e visitando vocês sempre que tiver um tempinho. Espero que vocês entendam e não me abandonem. :-D

Mas vamos à mani. Estava louca para usar o Damson (Barry M), que pertence à mesma coleção que o Coconut, o Almond, o Kiwi e o Pink Punch que já mostrei por aqui. Ele é um azul cobalto de acabamento glossy. Uma perfeição para aplicar, como todos os esmaltes da marca que já testei até agora. Estou apaixonada! <3
Now let's get to the mani. I was dying to try Damson (Barry M), which belongs to the same collection as Coconut, Almond, Kiwi and Pink Punch that I already showed here. It's a cobalt blue with a glossy finish. Application is very smooth, such as all Barry M polishes I've already used. I'm in love! <3

Para essa mani usei a já tão conhecida técnica da carimbada invertida (ou decalque de carimbo) com essas flores lindas da plaquinha M100 da Konad. Como base para o decalque passei uma camada do branco para carimbo da Blant. Pintei as flores com o Swagger (piCture pOlish), mas na foto elas acabaram ficando quase no mesmo tom do Damson.
For this mani I used the well known stamping decal technique with these gorgeous flowers from the image plate M100 by Konad. I applied one coat of a white stamping polish as base for the decals. The flowers were filled with Swagger (piCture pOlish), but for some reason, on the pictures, the colour looks similar to Damson.

Simplesmente amei essa mani. Durou 4 dias intacta! Muito amor!

[Pink October] #2: Heart Decals

Para a segunda mani do Outubro Rosa eu optei por uma técnica que adoro e que vocês já viram por aqui milhares de vezes: carimbada invertida (ou decalque de carimbo).
For the second mani of Pink for October I picked a technique I adore and you have already seen here many times: stamping decal (or reverse stamping or advanced stamping).

O esmalte escolhido para reinar nessa mani foi o Pink Punch (Barry M), um rosa choque glossy maravilhoso. Super fácil de esmaltar, cobre perfeitamente já na primeira camada. Infelizmente não consegui tirar nenhuma foto dele sozinho porque os dias aqui já começaram a encurtar e eu ainda não consegui achar os lampadários para terminar o meu mini estúdio. Mimimimimi
The polish I pick to reign on this mani is Pink Punch (Barry M), a wonderful glossy hot pink. Very easy to apply, it gets fully opaque already on the first coat. Unfortunately I didn't get to take any pictures of it plain because the days are getting shorter here and I still didn't find the lamps to put my bulbs in and finish the light box. Mimimimimi 

No anelar e no polegar foram duas camadas do Alpine Snow (OPI) e fiz os decalques com os corações da plaquinha PUEEN35. Preenchi o contorno dos corações com um glitter, mas acho que teria ficado melhor se tivesse usado um holo, porque acabou ficando falhado. Mas só pensei nisso depois que estava pronto...
On the thumb and pinky are two coats of Alpine Snow (OPI) and I made the decals with the hearts from the image plate PUEEN35. I filled the outlines of the hearts with a glitter, but I think it would've looked better with a holo, because there are some bald spots there. But I only thought of it when it was already done... 

Nas outras unhas coloquei apenas um bling para incrementar e cobri tudo com o extra brilho com óleo de argan da Ideal. Essa foi mais uma mani que amei demais.
Infelizmente a câmera não captou o tom dele de jeito nenhum. Ele é bem mais rosa e mais fechado ao vivo. Mas acho que o meu monitor também não está bem calibrado. Pode ser isso... Olhem aqui no post da Lucy.
On the other nails I only put a bling to add some awesomeness and topped everything with the Brazilian top coat Ideal. This is another mani I love a lot. Unfortunately the camera didn't capture its true colour. It's much more pink and still a little darker. It can also be that my screen is not well calibrated. I think... Have a look at Lucy's post. 

Até tentei dar uma modificada na foto para ver se conseguia a cor exata dele, mas nem assim. Se bem que, ele está muito mais próximo dessa cor da foto alterada do que nas fotos originais.
I even tried to process the picture a bit to see if I could get its accurate color, but no. Although, it's much closer to this colour on the processed picture than on the original ones.

31DC2014 Day 6: Violet Nails

Tudo bem por aí? Espero que sim.
Vamos para a sexta mani do desafio? Para as unhas violeta decidi usar uma técnica que eu adoro: carimbada invertida ou decalque de carimbo.
How are you doing? I hope all is well.
Let's get to the sixth mani of the challenge? For violet nails I picked a technique I adore: reverse stamping or stamping decal.

  
O esmalte escolhido foi um relativamente novo na minha coleção: Samarkand da Mavala. Já usei-o para esse gradiente aqui, mas ainda não tinha usado sozinho para testar a fórmula.
The polish I chose is relatively new in my collection: Samarkand by Mavala. I used it for this gradient here, but hadn't tested its formula yet.

Ele é fantástico. Para as mais habilidosas, dá para cobrir com uma camada generosa, mas eu prefiro passar duas fininhas. Ele seca super rápido e esse brilho todo aí é dele mesmo. Não passei top coat. Pena que apareceram algumas bolinhas... acho que foi porque não deixei secar completamente a primeira camada. #apressadinha
It's awesome. For those who are more skilled, you can get full opacity with one generous coat, but I rather apply two thin ones. It's dries very quick and it's naturally shiny. No top coat added. It's a shame I had a few bubbles... I think it was because I didn't let the first coat dry completely before applying the second one. #lackingpatience

Depois tirei-o do médio e do anelar para fazer az gêmeas. Usei o Francesinha da Ellen Gold como base e fiz os decalques usando a plaquinha Suki 07 da MoYou London.
Then I took it off of the middle and ring fingers to make the accent nails. I used Francesinha by Ellen Gold as a base and made the decals with the image plate Suki 07 by MoYou London.

Nas outras unhas coloquei apenas um stud rosinha pastel para combinar com as flores. Amei demais essa mani. Estou até com pena de tirar hoje. 
On the other nails I just put a pink pastel stud to match the flowers. I love this mani. It's a shame I have to take it off today.
