Boa tarde lindonaaaaas!
Good afternoon pretties!

A mani de hoje é mais uma mani linda (sem modéstia... hehehehe) e que eu amei fazer.
Fiz exatamente a mesma mani aqui, só que com cores diferentes.
Today's mani is one of the pretties (no modesty here... hehehehe) and I loved to make it.
I made the exact same one here, but with different colors.

Para a mani de hoje resolvi usar uma combinação de cores bem contrastante. Como amarelo e roxo são cores opostas que se complementam, dá para usar numa boa sem causar o efeito desconfortável que o vermelho e verde juntos causam. :)
How are you doing?
For today's mani I decided to go for a contrasting color combo. Since yellow and purple are oposite colores that complement each other, it's easy to use without having the discomfort that red and green cause when paired. :)

Fiz as listras à mão livre com pincel fininho e longo e as bolinhas com o boleador pequeno. As florzinhas também fiz com o boleador.
Amei o resultado!
I freehanded the stripes with a thin striping brush and made the dots with a tiny dotting tool. I also used a dotting tool for the flowers.
I love the result!

[Movember] #1: Flowers with Damson - Barry M

Vocês já devem estar sabendo o Novembro Azul é o mês da conscientização sobre o Câncer de Próstata né? Outubro é para as mulheres, novembro para os homens. E nós da comunidade esmaltística abraçamos a causa não só espalhando a informação, mas representando-a nas unhas também. Por isso esse mês será repleto de manis azuis. Nem gosto né?! Hahahahhahaha
You might know by know that Movember is the Prostate Cancer Awareness month, right? October is for women, November is for men. And we from the Nail Art Community embrace the cause not only spreading the information, but representing it on our nails. So, this month will be full of blue manis here. I don't even like it right?! Hahahahahaha

Gostaria de dizer também que comecei uma nova função no meu trabalho ontem e que estou com muito mais tarefas, muito menos tempo e mais restrições em relação à internet. Por isso deixarei meus posts programados e vou respondendo e visitando vocês sempre que tiver um tempinho. Espero que vocês entendam e não me abandonem. :-D
I'd also like to say that yesterday I started a new function at work and I have many more tasks, much less time and more internet restrictions. So, I'll start scheduling my posts and will answer and visit you whenever I have time. I hope you understand and don't abandon me. :-D

Mas vamos à mani. Estava louca para usar o Damson (Barry M), que pertence à mesma coleção que o Coconut, o Almond, o Kiwi e o Pink Punch que já mostrei por aqui. Ele é um azul cobalto de acabamento glossy. Uma perfeição para aplicar, como todos os esmaltes da marca que já testei até agora. Estou apaixonada! <3
Now let's get to the mani. I was dying to try Damson (Barry M), which belongs to the same collection as Coconut, Almond, Kiwi and Pink Punch that I already showed here. It's a cobalt blue with a glossy finish. Application is very smooth, such as all Barry M polishes I've already used. I'm in love! <3

Para essa mani usei a já tão conhecida técnica da carimbada invertida (ou decalque de carimbo) com essas flores lindas da plaquinha M100 da Konad. Como base para o decalque passei uma camada do branco para carimbo da Blant. Pintei as flores com o Swagger (piCture pOlish), mas na foto elas acabaram ficando quase no mesmo tom do Damson.
For this mani I used the well known stamping decal technique with these gorgeous flowers from the image plate M100 by Konad. I applied one coat of a white stamping polish as base for the decals. The flowers were filled with Swagger (piCture pOlish), but for some reason, on the pictures, the colour looks similar to Damson.

Simplesmente amei essa mani. Durou 4 dias intacta! Muito amor!

31DC2014 Day 30: Inspired by a Tutorial

Aqui estou na penúltima mani do desafio, último dia do mês e mais um marco na minha evolução aqui no blog. Realmente, esse desafio me fez aprimorar ainda mais as técnicas que já conhecia e me aventurar em outras que não tinha tanta intimidade.
Here I am on the thirtieth mani of the challenge, last day of the month and another milestone on my improvement here on the blog. Really, this challenge made me improve even more the techniques I already knew and get adventurous in others I didn't have much familiarity.

Dessa vez me inspirei por outra diva das flores lá no Instagram, a Katarzyna (@lynieczka) faz cada mani de babar e tem uns tutoriais super fáceis. Escolhi esse aqui e mudei as cores, lógico.
This time I got inspired by another diva of flowers on Instagram, Katarzyna (@lynieczka) makes incredibily gorgeous manis and has pretty easy tutorials. I picked this one and changed the colours, of course.

Aproveitei para desencalhar mais um bonitinho, o Matte Black da linha Make B. da O Boticário. Já mostrei o irmãozinho dele aqui. Achei que ele fosse mais fosco. Demora um pouquinho para secar, mas a consistência é bem boa.
I also took the opportunity to get another untried out of the box, Matte Black from the Make B. collection by a Brazilian brand called O Boticário. I've already shown its little brother here. I thought it would be more matte than that. I takes a bit of time to dry, but consistency is quite good.

Fiz as flores usando apenas tinta acrílica, começando com a branca para fazer a base e depois preenchendo com a rosa e a azul. Em seguida os últimos detalhes e uma camada do Matte Top Coat da OPI para finalizar.
I made the flowers using only acrylic paint, starting with white as base and then filling them with pink and blue. I finished with the last details and a coat of Matte Top Coat by OPI.

Impressionante como esse top coat faz a diferença. Acho que precisarei comprar outro.
It's impressive how much of a difference this top coat can make. I think I need to buy another one.

Ainda não sei o que acho da mani de hoje. Não que eu ache fail, não acho não, mas é que tinha outra coisa em mente quando comecei a desenhar as flores.
I still don't know what I think of today's mani. Not that I think it's a fail, I don't, but I had something else in mind when I started drawing the flowers. 

Aproveitei para usar o Candy Crush da Essence, um esmaltinho novo do sortimento da marca e que, segundo o rótulo, é de acabamento fosco. A qualidade é aquela maravilha da típica da marca. Pincel achatadinho delícia, secagem rápida e fácil de limpar.
I took the opportunity to use Candy Crush by Essence, a new polish from their regular collection  which, according to the label, has a matte finish. The quality great, typical Essence polishes. A flat and wide brush to make application smooth, quick drying and easy to clean.

Ele não é aquele fosco tipo o Preto Gráfico da Colorama, ele é uma combinação de fosco com cetim. O problema é que a câmera me trollou. Ele é muito mais rosa do que vermelho, mas a câmera só captou o vermelho... rsrsrsrsrs
It's not 100% matte, it's a combination of matte and satin. The problem is that the camera trolled me. It's much more pink than red, but the camera only got the red in it... rsrsrsr

No dedo médio e no anelar eu fiz uma flor bizarra com tinta acrílica. Até que não ficou feia não, mas não ficou o que eu tinha imaginado. Passei o extra brilho com óleo de argan da Ideal antes de passar o top coat matte da OPI para não arrastar o desenho.
On the middle and ring finger I made a weird flower using acrylic paint. It's not ugly, but it's not what I had in mind. 

Preferi a versão matte. Ainda vou tentar essa flor de novo.... rsrsrsrssr
O que vocês acham? Qual versão preferem?
I  prefer the matte version. I'll try this flower again... LOL

I Love Roses

Bom dia minhas flores!
Good morning my flowers!

Hoje eu estou muito feliz, pois além dos dias lindos que têm feito lá fora (enquanto estou aqui trancada no escritório), pela primeira vez consegui fazer rosas que gostei de verdade. Dias ensolarados e rosas me fazem sorrir! :-D
Today I'm very happy, because besides the pretty days we have been having outside (while I'm here stuck in the office), for the first time I really like the result of my roses. Sunny days and roses make me smile! :-D

Sei que desse lado aí (Brasil) já esta começando a esfriar, mas pelos lados de cá a temperatura começa a chegar perto dos 20°C e já dá para guardar os casacões e começar a tirar as blusinhas do armário... hehehehe
E falando em flores, hoje tenho uma mani bem primaveril para vocês!
I know it's getting colder in Brazil, but over here the temperatures start getting to 20°C and we can already put the big coats back in the closet and pull out the cute tops... LOL
And talking about flowers, today I have a very springy mani to show you!
