31DC2013 Day 21: Inspired by a Color

Tudo florindo por ai? Por aqui sim, mas só nas unhas porque a primavera ainda está longe... hehehehehe

Everything blossoming ever there? It is over here, but only on the nails because springtime is still far from coming... lol

A mani de hoje é inspirada por uma cor, mas no sentido inspirada pelo nome da cor. Ao menos foi isso que eu reparei em todos os blogs gringos que sempre participam.

Today's mani is inspired by a color, but meaning by the name of the color. At least that’s what I've noticed on the blogs that always participate of the challenge.

Eu fiquei na maior dúvida do que fazer, até porque nem é tão fácil assim se inspirar com o nome de um esmalte não. Por fim escolhi o English Rose da Essence, um rosa envelhecido muito lindo. Facílimo de esmaltar e de limpar, enfim, aquela maravilha típica dos esmaltes Essence que a gente já sabe bem né?!

I was on a doubt about what to do because be inspired by the name of a color is not as easy as we think. In the end I chose English Rose by Essence, a very pretty old pink. It's smooth to pose and easy to clean, ultimately, the typical wonderful formula by Essence that we already know right?!

Daí peguei todas as minhas plaquinhas que tem rosas e comecei a testar. A que ficou mais bonita, sem cobrir completamente o rosa, foi a MM20 da Messy Mansion. Já fiz uma resenha sobre as plaquinhas que recebi deles e repito gente: maravilhosaaaaaaaas!

Then I took all the plates I have with a rose and started trying. The prettiest one, without completely covering the pink, was MM20 by Messy Mansion. I did a review about their plates a while ago and repeat: they're wonderfuuuuuuuul!

Esperei a carimbada secar e apliquei mais uma técnica que aprendi recentemente: topcoat normal antes de passar o fosco. O topcoat fosco normalmente arrasta a carimbada, para evitar que isso aconteça, basta uma camada fininha de topcoat normal e passar o topcoat fosco por cima. E funciona super bem, olhem só:

I waited until the stamping was dry and applied another technique I learned recently: regular topcoat before the matte one. The matte topcoat smudges the stamping, and to avoid that, I just put a thin coat of regular topcoat and then topped it with the matte one. And it works perfectly, check it out:

Eu gostei mais da versão fosca. E vocês?
