[Movember] #6: Postão Troca-Troca de Esmaltes

Como as meninas do Cores do Vicio fizeram um postão de Halloween e a Alice fez um para o Outubro Rosa, resolvi fazer o do Novembro Azul por aqui para fechar o mês em grande estilo.

Since the girls from Cores do Vicio made a big Halloween post and Alice made a big Pink October post, I decided to host the Movember here so we can wrap up the month in style.

[Movember] #5: Blingy Stripes

Gostaria de agradecer a todas vocês que ainda aparecem por aqui, mesmo minha vida estando louca e não tendo tempo para retribuir tanto carinho. Vocês são demais!

Como eu disse na resenha da Born Pretty semana passada, aqui vão os detalhes da mani que fiz com o lápis para pegar pedrinhas, inspirada pela Sonia (@badgirlnails).

As I said on the Born Pretty review last week, here are the details of the mani I made with the rhinestone picker, inspired by Sonia (@badgirlnails).

Como base foram duas camadas do Glistening Snow da China Glaze. Ele é um glitter forte holográfico maravilhoso. Amo tanto esse esmalte que só uso para filha única ou gêmeas, como vocês já viram várias vezes por aqui. Na foto acima ele está sem top coat e na foto abaixo com top coat.

As base I applied two coats of Glistening Snow by China Glaze. It's a wonderful rough holo glitter. I love this polish so much I only use it for accent nails, as you saw here several times. On the picture above it's without top coat and on the picture bellow it's with top coat.

Depois do top coat bem sequinho, coloquei as fitinhas e passei uma camada generosa do Eurso Euro (OPI) por cima e retirei as fitinhas logo em seguida.

After the top coat was completely dry, I applied some stripping tape and a generous coat of Eurso Euro (OPI) on top and pulled off the tape right away.

Coloquei os blings, que gosto tanto, e finalizei com o Matte Top Coat da OPI. Simplesmente amei essa mani.

I placed the blings I love so much and finished it with the Matte Top Coat by OPI. I simply love this mani.

[Movember] #4: Feeling Blue - Park Avenue + Nailz Craze

Não sei vocês, mas eu estou desesperada com os dias passando rápido demais. Não tenho tempo para nada e tenho tanta coisa pra fazer. Ainda bem que os posts estão programados né? Assim não abandono vocês de vez. Rsrsrsrsrsrsrs

Continuando com a saga do Novembro Azul, aqui está uma mani que amei de paixão. O pulguentinho de base é o Feeling Blue da Park Avenue, mas ele é tão discreto que nem dá pra ver direito que é pulguentinho. =/

Going on with the Movember saga, here's a mani I adore. The speckled I use as base is Feeling Blue by Park Avenue, but it's so discrete you can't even notice it's a speckled. =/

Como disse no post do Passionate About You, consegui comprar todos os outros e vou fazer um postão com os swatches da coleção, por isso não mostro ele peladinho aqui. 

As I said on the Passionate About You post, I was able to buy the whole collection and will make a big post with swatches, so I don't show it on its own now.

A carimbada foi usando a plaquinha NC02 da Nailz Craze usando o esmalte para carimbo 1 White da Mundo de Uñas. Amo demais essas plaquinhas e essa é uma estampa que acho muito linda.

I stamped using the image plate NC02 by Nailz Craze and the stamping polish 1 White by Mundo de Uñas. I love these plates and this a a pattern I find very pretty.

[Movember] #3: Mix 'n Match for Nailstorming

Mais uma vez resolvi participar do Nailstorming de domingo - uma brincadeira organizada todos os domingos pela francesa Emma do blog Mademoiselle Emma - e esse domingo o tema é Novembro Azul.

Once again I decided to join the Sunday Nailstorming - a challenge organized every Sunday by the French blogger Emma from Mademoiselle Emma - and this Sunday's theme is Blue November.

Fiz a mix 'n match usando o The King da Missp, por isso tirei uma foto dele peladinho para vocês verem. Não sei o que está errado nas configurações da câmera, mas todos os azuis nesse tom tem ficado bem elétricos e os rosas choque tem ficado vermelhos. Não é Photoshopis não viu gente?! Foram duas camadas e esse brilho é todo dele mesmo.
I made a mix 'n match using The King by Missp, so I took a picture of it "naked" so you can see. I don't know what's wrong with the settings of my camera, but all those shades of blue are way brighter than real and the hot pinks are turning red. There's no Photoshop there, ok?! Here are two coats and this is its own natural shine.

Deixei-o no anelar e no polegar e fui brincar com a M&M. No médio foram duas camadas do Maliblue (Catrice), no mindinho e no indicador duas do Coconut (Barry M). No polegar fiz poás usando o menor boleador que tenho e o Coconut mesmo e no mindinho usando o The King. No indicador eu ia fazer listras, mas não ficaram legais, dai optei por simples studs azuis.
I kept it on the ring finger and on the thumb and went playing with the M&M. On the middle finger are two coats of Maliblue (Catrice), on the pinky and index two of Coconut (Barry M). On the thumb I made dots using the smallest dotting tool I own and Coconjt itself and on the pinky using The King. On the index I was going to make stripes, but they didn't look nice, so I just went with simple studs.

Para finalizar fiz um Monsieur no anelar, diferente do ano passado. Usei tinta acrílica preta e um pincel para detalhes. Porque não poderia faltar um bigodinho nesse mês né? 
To finish off I made a Monsieur on the ring finger, different than last year's. I used acrylic paint and a detail brush. Of course I couldn't let November go by without a mustache, right?

[Movember] #2: Blue Blingness

Como essa semana não podia faltar uma mani azul, dessa vez me inspirei na minha lixa de vidro da Mont Bleu que ganhei para resenha e mostrei nesse post aqui.
How are you doing? I hope everything is ok.
Since this week couldn't go by without a blue mani, this time I got inspired by my glass nail file my Mont Bleu I got for review and showed you here.

O azul escolhido foi o Cinderella da Missp. Acho que o nome do esmalte é perfeito porque ele tem a cor exata do vestido da Cinderela. Foram duas camadas super fáceis de esmaltar e nem precisei usar base fosca (porque esqueci... abafa!).
The blue I picked was Cinderella by Missp. I think this name fits it perfectly because it's the exact colour of Cinderella's dress. Here are two easy coats and I didn't even need to use a matte VAE coat (because I forgot... LOL).

Fiz um dégradé usando o Succès Azuré (Bourjois) e mesmo tendo ficado bem discreto nas fotos por causa dessa luz cinza aqui da Bélgica, ele ficou bem evidente ao vivo. O dia que eu pegar o jeito dos gradientes será o dia mais feliz da minha vida esmaltística.
I made a gradient using Succès Azuré (Bourjois) and even if it looks very subtle on the pictures because of Belgium's grey daylight, it was quite evident in person. The day I get the hang of gradients will be the happiest day of my NPA's life.

Completei a mani com bastante bling, como vocês podem ver... hahahahah
Apesar de chamar bastante atenção e do gradiente ainda não ter ficado como eu queria, gostei bastante do resultado.
I completed this mani with a lot of bling, as you can see... Hahahahahaha

Even if it draws a lot of looks and the gradient is not as I wanted it to be, I still like the result .

[Movember] #1: Flowers with Damson - Barry M

Vocês já devem estar sabendo o Novembro Azul é o mês da conscientização sobre o Câncer de Próstata né? Outubro é para as mulheres, novembro para os homens. E nós da comunidade esmaltística abraçamos a causa não só espalhando a informação, mas representando-a nas unhas também. Por isso esse mês será repleto de manis azuis. Nem gosto né?! Hahahahhahaha
You might know by know that Movember is the Prostate Cancer Awareness month, right? October is for women, November is for men. And we from the Nail Art Community embrace the cause not only spreading the information, but representing it on our nails. So, this month will be full of blue manis here. I don't even like it right?! Hahahahahaha

Gostaria de dizer também que comecei uma nova função no meu trabalho ontem e que estou com muito mais tarefas, muito menos tempo e mais restrições em relação à internet. Por isso deixarei meus posts programados e vou respondendo e visitando vocês sempre que tiver um tempinho. Espero que vocês entendam e não me abandonem. :-D
I'd also like to say that yesterday I started a new function at work and I have many more tasks, much less time and more internet restrictions. So, I'll start scheduling my posts and will answer and visit you whenever I have time. I hope you understand and don't abandon me. :-D

Mas vamos à mani. Estava louca para usar o Damson (Barry M), que pertence à mesma coleção que o Coconut, o Almond, o Kiwi e o Pink Punch que já mostrei por aqui. Ele é um azul cobalto de acabamento glossy. Uma perfeição para aplicar, como todos os esmaltes da marca que já testei até agora. Estou apaixonada! <3
Now let's get to the mani. I was dying to try Damson (Barry M), which belongs to the same collection as Coconut, Almond, Kiwi and Pink Punch that I already showed here. It's a cobalt blue with a glossy finish. Application is very smooth, such as all Barry M polishes I've already used. I'm in love! <3

Para essa mani usei a já tão conhecida técnica da carimbada invertida (ou decalque de carimbo) com essas flores lindas da plaquinha M100 da Konad. Como base para o decalque passei uma camada do branco para carimbo da Blant. Pintei as flores com o Swagger (piCture pOlish), mas na foto elas acabaram ficando quase no mesmo tom do Damson.
For this mani I used the well known stamping decal technique with these gorgeous flowers from the image plate M100 by Konad. I applied one coat of a white stamping polish as base for the decals. The flowers were filled with Swagger (piCture pOlish), but for some reason, on the pictures, the colour looks similar to Damson.

Simplesmente amei essa mani. Durou 4 dias intacta! Muito amor!

Blue For November #3: Adora-Bleu - Bourjois + Pedra Estrela - Ellen Gold

Tenho uma notícia maravilhosa! Depois de 6 meses desempregada, eu finalmente arrumei um trabalho. Uhuuuuuuuuul! 
Curiosas? Heheheheh... Começo hoje como operadora na central telefônica da Comissão Européia. E olhem que ironia, eles me escolheram porque falo português... kkkkkkk... com 5 outras línguas e fui escolhida pelo meu querido idioma.

I have great news! After 6 months unemployed I finally got a job! Uhuuuuuuuuuuuul!
Curious? Heheheheh... I start today as call center operator for the European Commission. And the irony is that they chose me because I speak Portuguese... kkkkk... with other 5 languages and I was chosen because of my dear mother language.

Blue For November #2: Whimsy - piCture pOlish

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui sim, ainda um pouco dolorida por causa do excesso de esporte, mas eu adoroooooooooo! Achei que fosse sofrer muito por causa da maratona de domingo, mas nem foi tão horrível assim não. Hehehehehehe. Hoje trago mais uma mani para representar o Novembro Azul, e tenho que colocar a modéstia na gavetinha e reconhecer que minhas esmaltações estão cada vez mais lindas. Que orgulhoooooooooo! *.*
All good over there? Over here it is, I’m still a little sore because of the excess of sports, but I loooooooooove it! I thought I was going to suffer a lot because of Sunday’s marathon, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Hehehehehe. Today I come with another mani to represent Blue for November, and I have to put my modesty in a little drawer and recognize that my manis are getting prettier and prettier. I’m sooooooooooo proud! *.*

Blue For November #1: Stone Wash - Kure Bazaar

Como vocês sabem, Outubro foi o mês da conscientização sobre o Câncer de Mama. Esse mês é sobre o Diabetes e sobre o Câncer de Próstata. A campanha começou na Austrália em 2003 e consiste em desafiar os homens a deixarem o bigode crescer durante os 30 dias de Novembro. Para quem quiser mais informações é só entrar no site Movember.

As you know, October was Breast Cancer Awareness month. This month is about Diabetes and about Prostate and Testicular Cancer. The movement started in Australia in 203 and consists in challenging men to grow a moustache for the 30-days of November. For those who want more information just check the Movember website.

A campanha também conta com as mulheres, que apoiam e estimulam os homens em suas vidas a se envolverem. E lógico que a mulherada do mundo esmaltístico não poderia ficar de fora né?! Para representar a causa foi escolhida a cor azul e os famosos bigodinhos (símbolos da campanha).
The movement also involves women, who support and encourage the men in their life to get involved. And of course that women in the nail community couldn't stay out of it right?! The color blue and the well-known moustaches was chosen to represent the movement.
