[12 Meses 12 Esmaltes] Dezembro :: Taupe - Yves Rocher

Nem acredito que o ano já está dando seus últimos suspiros. Parece que foi ontem que comecei esse desafio...

I can't believe the year is taking it's last breath. It seems like it was yesterday that I started this challenge... 

O Taupe da Yves Rocher é um marrom cor de chocolate ao leite. Amei a consistência dele. Parece chocolate derretido mesmo. Essa linha da Yves Rocher tem pincéis achatados (que eu amo), mas relativamente finos. Ele já cobre super bem na primeira camada. Para as mais habilidosas, dá para ficar só nela mesmo.

Taupe by Yves Rocher is a milk chocolate brown. I love its formula. It really feels like applying melted chocolate on the nails. This line of polishes by Yves Rocher has a flat brush (that I love), but relatively narrow. For those with better skills than me, you can get it opaque in one coat.

Na filha única passei duas camadas do Francesinha da Ellen Gold e fiz a rena usando o Taupe para a cabeça e os chifres e o Don't Pretzel My Buttons (OPI) para o focinho e a parte interna das orelhas. Para os olhinhos usei tinta branca e preta e para o nariz usei o Ruby Pumps (China Glaze). Para essa mani não fiz tutorial porque usei esse aqui.

On the accent nail I applied two coats of Francesinha by Ellen Gold and made the reindeer using Taupe for the head and the antlers and Don't Pretzel My Buttons (OPI) for the snout and the internal part of the ear. For the eyes I used white and black acrylic paint and for the nose Ruby Pumps (China Glaze). For this mani I didn't make a tutorial because I used this one here.

Nas outras unhas carimbei essas florzinhas diferentes da plaquinha BM-224 da Bundle Monster usando o esmalte para carimbo 31 Peach da Mundo de Uñas.

On the other nails I stamped these fancy flowers from the image plate BM-224 by Bundle Monster using the stamping polish 31 Peach by Mundo de Uñas.

Amei demais essa mani. Que orgulho de ter conseguido fazer quatro manis temáticas esse ano.

I love this many. I'm so proud I was able to make four Xmas mani this year.

A mani de hoje é uma das mais fofas que já fiz. Até a mulherada do escritório achou fofa. Ho ho ho ho ho

Today's mani is one of the cutest I've ever made. Even the girls at the office thought it was cute. Ho ho ho ho ho

Aproveitei para usar um esmalte divo que consegui em uma troquinha americana. O Ruby Pumps da China Glaze é um vermelho glass fleck. Coisa mais linda e super fácil de esmaltar.

I used another gorgeous polish I got in an American swap. Ruby Pumps by China Glaze is a red glass fleck. Super pretty and easy to apply.

Depois de tirar a foto, removi-o do anelar e passei uma camada do Don't Burst My Bubble da OPI como base (ainda vou tirar uma foto dele sozinho) e passei top coat matte por cima para ficar mais fácil de desenhar.

After taking the picture, I took it off of the ring finger and applied on coat of Don't Burst My Bubble by OPI (I still have to take a nice picture of it plain) and applied matte top coat to make it easier to draw on.

Desenhei o Papai Noel com tinta acrílica, usando esse tutorial aqui. Nas outras unhas esponjei de leve com o Glistening Snow (China Glaze). Por cima fiz um floco de neve em cada unha com um pincel para detalhe e tinta acrílica branca e a neve caindo também com a tinta e um boleador pequeno.

I drew Santa Claus with acrylic paint, is ring this tutorial here. On the other nails I made a gradient with Glistening Snow (China Glaze). I made a snow flake on each nail using a detail brush and white acrylic paint and the falling snow also with the paint and a small dotting tool.

Cute Penguin

Good morning sunshines!

Fiz essa mani uma semana antes de vir pro Brasil (chegamos hoje de manhã) e como lá na Europa o frio já tomou conta, me deu vontade de fazer uma mani invernal bem fofa.

I made this mani a week before coming to Brazil (we arrived this morning) and since there in Europe the cold weather has already taken its turn, I wanted to make a cute winter mani.

Como base escolhi o Celeste Blue da Park Avenue. Ele é um azul com fundo cinza, tem uma fórmula um pouco mais líquida do que estou acostumada, mas nada desesperador. Em duas camadas ele cobre perfeitamente.

As base I picked Celeste Blue by Park Avenue. It's a blue with grey undertone with a more liquid formula than what I'm used to, but nothing too annoying. It gets fully opaque in two coats.

Fiz um gradiente bem delicado usando um outro azul que não lembro o nome e carimbei os flocos de neve da plaquinha M59 da Konad. No dedo médio usei o Black Is Black (Essence) como base e fiz o pingüim todo com esmalte mesmo. Cheguei a fazer um tutorial do pingüim que postarei pra vocês amanhã. Super fácil mesmo.

I made a delicate gradient with another blue I can't remember the name now and stamped the snowflakes from the image plate M59 by Konad. On the middle finger I used Black Is Black (Essence) as base and made the penguin with polish instead of paint. I even made a tutorial of the penguin and I'll share with you tomorrow. Very easy to make.

Under the Mistletoe

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo na maior ansiedade. Domingo que vem partimos para o Brasil... Só mais 6 dias... Uhuuuuuuuuuuul!

How are you doing? I'm very anxious and excited. Next Sunday we fly to Brazil... Just another 6 days to go... Uhuuuuuuuuuuuuul!

Esse glitter lindo é o Tree-Mendous da antiga Lush Lacquer, que agora chama-se Polish Me Silly. Ele é parecido com glitter forte porque é composto principalmente de poeirinha verde em base jelly, com glitters hexagonais vermelhos e dourado. Mas ele fica lisinho com apenas uma camada de top coat, com glitter forte geralmente precisamos de duas camadas né?!

This beautiful glitter is Tree-Mendous from the old Lush Lacquer, that is now called Polish Me Silly. It looks like a rough glitter because it's made of green glitter dust on a jelly base, with some hex red and golden glitters. But it gets perfectly smooth with one coat of top coat, and with rough glitters we normally need two, right?!

Fiz essa mani na maior correria da noite quarta passada e acabei não conseguindo tirar fotos do Tree-Mendous sozinho. Por isso vai ficar para uma próxima vez.

Nas gêmeas fiz florzinhas de visco com esmalte vermelho e verde, usando um boleador e um pincel para detalhes. 

I made this mani in a hurry last Wednesday evening and couldn't take pictures of Tree-Mendous by itself. So, it will be for next time.

On the accent nails I made the mistletoes with red and green polish, using a dotting tool and a detail brush.

 

Essas florzinhas remontam à época dos druidas, que colocavam-nas acima da porta de entrada da casa para espantar os maus espíritos. 

The mistletoes come from the time of the Druids, who put them above the entrance door of their houses to fight off the evil spirits.

Amei demais essa mani. E vocês, já estão no clima de Natal também?

Good morning lovelies!

Como foi o Natal de vocês? Ganharam muitos presentes?

Eu ganheiiiiiiiiiii! O primeiro presente é a família holandesa maravilhosa que a cada ano que passa eu amo ainda mais. O segundo foi passarmos a véspera com a minha melhor amiga (aqui da Zoropa) e a família dela. O terceiro foi saber que a minha família aí nesse lado do oceano está muito bem. E por último foram os presentes materiais, que são irrelevantes... hehehehehehe

How was your Christmas? Did you get many gifts?

I diiiiiiiiid! The first gift is this wonderful Dutch family that I love more every year. The second one was to spend Christmas Eve with my best friend (here in Europe) and her family. The third one was that my family on the other side of the ocean is doing great. And last the material stuff, that is irrelevant… hehehehe

Tudo bem por ai? Por aqui tudo ótimo. Muitas saudades da família, mas estarei em excelente companhia. 

A mani de hoje é uma das mais fail que já fiz. Queria uma mani de Natal baphônica e acabei tendo que me contentar com o que consegui fazer. Não sei por que viu?! Inspiração não faltou, mas tentei 3 vezes e não deu certo. Dai apelei para a simplicidade mesmo.

How are you doing? Everything is great here. I miss my family a lot, but I'll be in great company.

Today's mani is one of the most fail manis I've ever done. I wanted a super pretty Christmas nail and had to accept what I could do. I really don’t know why. It wasn’t a lack of inspiration, but I tried 3 times and it didn’t work. Then I kept it simple.

Como foi o Natal de vocês?
Passaram bem com as pessoas que vocês amam, com muita comida e muitos doces?
Que ótimo... É assim mesmo que tem que ser... Heheheheheheh

Fiquei duas horas com a minha família no Skype do dia 24 para 25, fui dormir à 1:00 acreditam? Eu que sou que nem criança que a pilha acaba às 23h....
Mas fui dormir muito feliz, falei até com os meus tios que moram em Minas e foram passar o Natal em Petrópolis (RJ) com a minha avó!
