31DC2014 Day 19: Galaxies

Tudo bem por aí? Espero que sim.
A mani de hoje é uma das técnicas que eu acho mais lindas, mas confesso que fiquei decepcionada dessa vez. 
How are you doing? I hope you're doing well.
Today's mani is one of the prettiest techniques (in my opinion), but I have to admit I was disappointed this time.

Talvez esteja sendo exigente demais comigo mesma, mas sei lá... acho que a minha primeira galáxia ficou linda demais e não tive o mesmo sentimento por essa.
Maybe I'm being too hard on myself, I don't know... but I think my first galaxy was gorgeous and I didn't have the same feeling for this one. 

Queria fazer uma galáxia roxa e aproveitei para tirar uma foto mais bonita do Taboo (Chanel). Gente, preciso repetir o quanto esse esmalte é maravilhoso. Dos poucos Chanel que eu tenho, esse é definitivamente o meu preferido.
I wanted to make a purple galaxy and took the opportunity to make a prettier picture of Taboo (Chanel). Guys, I have to repeat how wonderful this polish is. It's definitively my favourite of the few Chanel polishes I own.

Consegui, inclusive, o meu primeiro close-up. Gente, olhem esse shimmer que coisa mais perfeita!
I even got to take my first close-up. Guys, look at that shimmer. So perfect!

Para a galáxia usei rosa, azul e branco, como da primeira vez, mas o resultado saiu bem diferente. Ficou uma galáxia bem mais azul.
For the galaxy I used pink, blue and white, as the first time, but the result is quite different. I turned to be a much more blue galaxy.

E aí, o que vocês acharam? Eu gostei muito mais da primeira. :-P
So, what do you think? I like the first one better. :-P

31DC2014 Day 2: Orange Nails

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo ótimo.
A segunda mani do desafio também é simples, até porque, com os dois esmaltes perfeitos que escolhi, nem precisava de muita coisa né?
How are you doing? Everything is great over here.
The second mani of the challenge is also simple, because with the two gorgeous polishes I picked, I didn't even need too much, right?

No indicador, anelar e mindinho foram duas deliciosas camadas do Mirabella da Chanel e no médio e no polegar duas do Jinx da OPI. Já tinha até esquecido o quão perfeito esse sand é. O meu primeiro sand ever, o que me fez cair de amores por esse efeito.
On the index, ring finger and pink I applied two coats of Mirabella by Chanel and on the middle finger and thumb two coats of Jinx by OPI. I had already forgotten how perfect this sand is. My first sand ever, the one that made me fall in love with this kind of finish.

Há tempos que queria fazer um cupcake nas unhas, mas ainda não tinha encontrado o momento certo para fazer sem exagero. E eis que o momento certo se apresentou para essa mani.
It's been a long time I wanted cupcake nails, but I haven't found the right moment to make them without exaggerate. And here it came, the right moment.

É extremamente fácil de fazer e tem vários tutoriais no YouTube, por isso nem vou explicar como fiz não tá? (deixem de preguiça e pesquisem... não faz mal nenhum! kkkkkkkkkkk... :-P ) 
It's extremely easy to make and there are tons of tutorials on YouTube, so I won't even explain how I made it, ok? (stop being lazy and do some search... it doesn't hurt! LMAO... :-P )

Fiquei muito feliz com o resultado dessa mani. Quem gosta de cupcakes levanta a mão! o/
I'm really glad with this mani. Raise your hand if you like cupcakes! o/

Mirabella - Chanel + Born Pretty

Hoje tenho mais uma resenha da Born Pretty pra vocês, estreando um esmaltchenho divo que comprei semana passada.

Today I have another Born Pretty review for you guys, starring a gorgeous polish I bought last week.

Confesso que comprei esse divo só para imitar esse gradiente aqui, e não me arrependi dos eurinhos investidos não, pois ele é a perfeição dos laranjas. O Mirabella da Chanel faz parte da coleção Reflets d'Été Verão 2014. Ele é um laranja bem aberto de consistência maravilhosa. É fácil de esmaltar, não escorre para as cutículas e seca tão rápido que se der mais de três pinceladas na unha o acabamento fica ruim. É uma de um lado, uma no meio e outra do outro lado e basta. <3
I have to admit I only bought this polish to copy this gradient here, and I don't regret the euros spent, because it's the mother-load of oranges. Mirabella by Chanel is part of the collection Reflets d'Été for summer 2014. It's a bright orange with great formula. It's easy to apply, it doesn't run to the cuticles and it dries so quickly that more than 3 brush strokes makes it look bumpy. It's one on the side, one in the middle and one on the other side  and that's it. <3

Como eu já tinha um coral parecido com o Lilis, resolvi não comprá-lo e fiz o gradiente com o Live.Love.Carnaval da OPI mesmo. Consegui fazer o gradiente tão sutil quanto o dela e confesso que acho que é o gradiente mais bonito que já fiz até hoje.
Since I already have a coral shade very similar to Lilis, so I decided not to buy it and did the gradient with Live.Love.Carnaval by OPI. I managed to make my gradient as subtle and hers and I have to say I think it's the prettiest gradient I've ever made.

Em seguida, carimbei só na lateral usando a plaquinha QA76 e o esmalte 31 Peach da Mundo de Uñas. Não precisei passar topcoat antes de carimbar porque esses lindinhos da MDU são bem pigmentados. Selei tudo com o Insta-Dri da Sally Hansen, que acabou fazendo com que a carimbada ficasse mais alaranjada em vez de pêssego clarinho.
Then I stamped on the sides using the image plate QA76 and 31 Peach my Mundo de Uñas. I didn't have to topcoat before stamping because these perfect MDU polishes are well pigmented. I sealed everything with Insta-Dri by Sally Hansen, which made the stamping turn rather orangy than light peach.

Péridot - Chanel + Bundle Monster

Como anda a vida? Tudo lindo? Por aqui sim, ainda mais com a mani de hoje!
Mas antes de falar sobre a mani tenho que contar pra vocês como eu consegui esse lindo. Fiquei dois anos olhando para ele na prateleira da perfumaria e resistia a cada vez. Quando eu finalmente resolvi me render, ele foi descontinuado, isso mesmo, saiu de linha... para nunca mais voltar! Saí que nem uma louca correndo pelas quatro perfumarias que vendem Chanel por aqui e nadaaaa! Que desespero!
How's life going? All pretty over there? It is over here with today's mani.
But before I talk about the mani itself let me tell you how I got this polish.
I looked at it on the cosmetics store's shelf for about two years and resisted every single time. When I finally decided to give up and buy it, it was discontinued, yeah, discontinued... like, forever gone! I went running like crazy to all four cosmetics store which sell Chanel polishes and I couldn't find it in any of them! I was desperate!

Taboo - Chanel

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo maravilhoso. Essa época do ano é sensível para mim, pois ao mesmo tempo que amo passar o Natal com a minha família holandesa, sinto muitas saudades da minha família no Brasil... dá um aperto no coração... =/
All good over there? All wonderful here. This time of the year is a little sensitive for me, because at the same time I love spending Christmas with my Dutch family, I miss my family in Brazil... hurts my heart... =/
