Hoje eu trago a vocês uma grande inspiração, a esmaltólatra que foi o "empurrãozinho" que eu precisava para criar o meu blog, há 2 anos e quase 4 meses. Foi quando comentei em um tutorial de water marble que ela fez. Ela foi super simpática e me incentivou dizendo que com prática e persistência eu seria capaz sim. E assim decidi criar o meu blog. Com vocês, a Jacki do Adventures in Acetone:
Today I have a big inspiration to introduce you, the NPA who "pushed" me to create my own blog about 2 years and 4 months ago. It was when I commented on a water marble tutorial she had done. She was so sympathetic and encouraged saying that with practice and persistence I'd be able to do it as well. So, I decided to create my blog. I leave you with Jacki from Adventures in Acetone:

Hello, GioNails readers! I’m Jacki, and you may know me from Adventures In Acetone. Thank you so much for having me, Giovanna! I am so honored to be invited onto your blog as a V.I.P.A! For my manicure, I’ve done one of my favorite new-to-me techniques: spray marbling! If you aren’t familiar with the term, I’ll explain it a bit! You put a few drops of nail polish in your water cup as you would for water marbling, but then you spray it with rubbing alcohol (or spray hand sanitizer, hair spray, body spray, etc.). The polish gets weird spots in it from the spray, and then you dip your finger as you would for water marbling. I love doing a couple of different colored layers to create an interesting effect. You can mix different finishes like metallics and cremes, shimmers, etc!
 

For this spray marble nail art look, I started out with 2 coats of OPI Mod About You. Once that was dry, I dropped about 4 drops of OPI Push & Pur-Pull onto the water surface in my cup. While it was still wet, I quickly sprayed rubbing alcohol once or twice into the cup to reveal the spots. Because it creates such a random pattern, I was able to dip 2 nails at once. After I finished all of my nails with the purple layer, I repeated the steps using OPI My Dogsled Is A Hybrid. I used HKGirl Top Coat, followed by OPI Matte Top Coat to give it a matte finish. (I do the quick dry top coat first because matte top coats always seem to smear nail art for me!)
 

What do you think of this spray marble look? Are you a fan of this technique? I really love how quick and easy it is to create as a full mani— as I am often too busy to do intricate nail art these days! If you use tape, peel off glue, or vaseline on the skin around your nails it will cut down on the clean up time as well! Thank you so much for reading! And a big thank you to Giovanna for having me!

Olá meninas!!
Eu fiquei super feliz com o convite para participar do V.I.P.A., mas confesso que também fiquei um pouco tímida. É que lá no blog da minha irmã, eu só colaboro com as nails, nunca escrevo porque sempre achei que não tenho muito jeito para isso! >.<
Mas deixando o blá blá blá de lado, a nail art que eu escolhi para hoje é uma recriação - uma homenagem - como forma de agradecimento e retribuição ao carinho da Gio!

Na verdade esta nail art foi a primeira de muitas esmaltadas da Gio que eu amei. Foi amor à primeira vista! Eu particularmente adoro a técnica splatter, mas a combinação das cores foi o que mais me agradou!

Esta é a segunda vez que eu faço esta nail e provavelmente farei mais vezes! =)

Além do esmalte azul Chills & Thrills da Essie, eu usei o Essie Blanc, o Candy Pêche da Marionnaud e o Essence 01 TOOOR! da coleção limitada Go, Go Goal!

I was very excited about being one of the V.I.P.A guest of GioNails blog! It's the first time for me to write something for a blog. I made a special nail design for this. Because I just recently moved to a beautiful place with a lot of palm trees, where the sun is always shining and the sea is blue, I made a tropical nail design, with bright colors, a palm stamp and to create a "beach" feeling I've used some cute golden shell rhinestones.

I have used the colors:

Oi meninas, tudo bem?

Eu sou a Aline do blog Vício de Menina e a Gio me convidou para o V.I.P.A.! Vocês não têm idéia da minha felicidade ao receber o convite.

A Gio é uma grande inspiração e por causa dela que comprei meus adesivos de Chevron nails e também minha primeira plaquinha da MoYou (cheia de flores como eu amo!).

Para participar decidi fazer uma nail art para o verão usando os adesivos de Chevron. Por coincidência, a Gio postou no começo da semana uma nail art bem parecida!
Todas as cores que eu usei são da coleção Meu Paraíso da Quem disse, Berenice?, como ela está com os tons de tendência aqui no Brasil e são bem pigmentados, não teve erro.

Como base, usei o Lilarisa e fiz um desenho para seguir a ordem dos tons e não me perder. As outras cores são: Verdolha (verde), Rosaquídia (rosa) e Zuzuceu (azul).

Procurei fazer uma sequência, formando triângulos nas unhas. O legal é que você pode usar 2 ou mais cores, é só usar a criatividade.

Today the post is short, but very special. While I go spend the weekend in the south of Belgium with two girlfriends I don't see it's been almost four years, I leave you with my V.I.P.A. guest. A very sympathetic and extremely talented British girl. Dee doesn't have a blog, but she posts her pictures on Instagram as @deanne29.

Hi everybody! I'm Dee (@deanne29) on Instagram. I'm from the Uk and have been posting nail art onto Instagram for the past year and a half. I was very flattered when Giovanna asked me be a V.I.P.A and guest post on her blog. Today I have a polka dot mani for you that was inspired by a dress.

My base is two coats of OPI Alpine Snow. Then I added tiny polka dots with black acrylic paint. I find using black acrylic paint is best for polka dots as top coat does not smear the dots, it drives me mad when that happens after using black polish for polka dots.
When that was fully dry I placed striping tape into triangle (ish) shapes and filled it in with China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer. I quickly removed the tape to get crisp lines, once that had dried I took a larger dotting tool and White polish and added polka dots on a diagonal so they didn't line up with the black dots.
I hope you all love this mani as much as I do. I can't wait to try out different colour combinations.

Eu fiz um degradê de base, usando três cores: Talismã (Ellen Gold), Justin (Lorena) e Flor do Deserto (Colorama), para tirar o efeito do esponjado passei uma camada do Shockwave da Top Beauty.
Carimbei usando o esmalte branco para carimbo da La Femme e a MoYou Pro Collection XL 14.
Finalizei todas as unhas com o Tc Diamond da Forever 21.

Bonjour à toutes! Je m'appelle Mary, du blog Mary Monkett, je viens de France, et je suis très flattée d'avoir été invitée aujourd'hui par la talentueuse Giovanna à venir occuper son blog le temps d'un nail art. Et vu le beau soleil qu'on a ici, quoi de mieux qu'un nail art floral? Je me suis inspirée pour ça d'une petite robe d'été dans les tons beige et bleu.
Good morning everybody! I'm Mary, from the blog Mary Monkett, I come from France, and I'm very flattered to be invited today by the talented Giovanna to take over blog for a nail art. And seen the beautiful sunshine we have here, what's better than a floral nail art? I got inspired by a beige and blue summer dress.

J'ai posé comme base un nude que j'aime beaucoup, Beige de piCture pOlish, un joli beige rosé, une application super agréable et une opacité en deux fines couches. Ensuite, tout au pinceau fin et avec de la peinture acrylique, tellement pratique pour ce genre de nail art, j'ai dessiné des petites fleurs à coeur bleu et des grandes à coeur blanc. Et enfin quelques petites feuilles marrons ici et là. J'aime beaucoup passer du temps sur un nail art comme celui ci, le résultat est souvent chouette!

As base, I applied a nude I love a lot, Beige by piCture pOlish, a pretty beige with pink undertone, very pleasant to apply and fully opaque in two thin coats. Then, with a detail brush and acrylic paint, so practical for this kind of nail art, I drew small flowers with blue heart and big flowers with white heart. Finally, a few brown leaves here and there. I love to spend time on a nail art like this, the result is often very nice!

Como estão as coisas? Hoje tenho mais uma convidada V.I.P.A. por aqui. A Mina do blog Cubbiful é uma portuguesa super simpática e extremamente talentosa. Eu babo horrores nas manis dela.
