Mais uma vez me inspirei pela minha marca de carros preferida para nail arte de hoje: BMW 730i criada por César Manrique.

Once again I got inspired by my favorite brand of cars: BMW 730i designed by César Manrique.

Não lembro exatamente quais as cores que usei para essa mani, mas garanto que não foi fácil não viu. De qualquer forma, adorei o resultado.

I can't remember the exact colors I used for this mani, but I guarantee you that it wasn't easy. Anyway, I love the result.

Uma das coisas que mais gosto nesse desafio é a possibilidade de testar técnicas e designs "encalhados" na lista de inspirações.

One of the things I love the most about this challenge is the possibility of trying techniques and designs that were "stuck" in the inspirations' list.

Escolhi a estampa paisley e decidi fazer uma meia-lua sem design para dar um contraste. Adorei o resultado! Acho que ficou super elegante. O que vocês acham?

I picked the paisley pattern and decided to make a half-moon without the design to give it a bit of contrast. I love the result! I think it turned out quite elegant. What do you think?

I also took the opportunity to try a technique I wanted for a long time: pond nails. I have to admit I found it pretty annoying. I don't have that much patience anymore... LOL

Me inspirei no livro O Mágico de Oz. Fiz os personagens usando a técnica da carimbada preenchida. Só não gostei muito do Homem de Lata. Acho que poderia ter ficado melhor.

I got inspired by the book The Wizard of Oz. I did the characters using the stamping decal technique. The only one I didn't particularly like is Captain Fyter the Tin Soldier. I think I could've done better.

Hey guys!

Então, esse é o primeiro lindo que usei da coleção Quadrinhos da Marvel e DC Comics que a Esmaltes da Kelly lançou ano passado. Sem cor de base por baixo e precisou de duas camadas de top coat.

So, this is the first gorgeous polish I used from the Marvel & DC Comics Collection that Esmaltes da Kelly released last year. It's a mix of golden and silver glitters on a light grey jelly base. No base color under it and it needed two coats of top coat to get smooth.

Aprendi uma técnica nova para usar glitter puro sem desperdiçar nem ficar grosso. A técnica consiste em passar uma camada do glitter usando o pincel e em seguida esponjar a segunda camada. Assim a base jelly fica na esponja e a segunda camada é puro glitter. Não entenderam? Cliquem aqui.

I learned a new technique to apply glitter without wasting it nor having a thick coat. The first coat I apply directly with the brush and the second coat I put on a sponge. The sponge absorbs the jelly base and all there's left on the sponge are the glitters. You didn't get it? Click here.

Good evening pretty people!

Primeiramente gostaria de me desculpar pela ausência por aqui. Nesses últimos três meses tomei decisões muito importantes para a minha vida e acabei me afastando do blog.
First I'd like to apologize for being away. I made very important decisions for my life and ended up staying away from the blog.

Quero voltar a blogar sim, mas com moderação. Por isso decidir vir dar um oi e compartilhar com vocês as minhas resoluções para 2016:
I really want to get back to blogging, but moderately. So I decided to come say hi and share my 2016 resolutions with you:

- Desapegar dos esmaltes que nunca usei e dos que não uso mais... ja estou com 750 esmaltes e não uso a maioria. :( / De-stash the polishes I never used and the ones I don't use anymore... I already have 750 polishes and I don't use most of them. :(
- Blogar 1 vez por semana (infelizmente não tenho tempo para mais do que isso). / Blog once a wek (unfortunately I don't have time for more than that)
- Ler no minimo dois livros por mês (sim, nem pra isso tenho tido tempo). / Read at least two books a month (not even having time for that lately).
- Tirar minha carteira de motorista definitiva (ainda estou com a provisória... vergonha). / Get my final driver's license (I still have the temporary one... shame on me).
- Correr a meia maratona 20km de Bruxelas. / Run the 20km of Brussels half marathon.
- Passar os exames de Personal Trainer. / Get my Personal Trainer license.

Uffaaaaa... espero conseguir completar ao menos os 4 últimos, que são os mais importantes. :)
Uffaaaaaa... I hope I can complete at least the last four, which are the most important ones. :)

I have to admit I did this mani because it was on my to-do list for a long time and I find it very pretty. Then I just used the movie The Beach as excuse for the inspiration. Heheheheh

Usei o Über Mat pela primeira vez e, decididamente, foi o mehor investimento dos últimos tempos. Ficou muito mais fácil de fazer decalques de carimbada. :)
I used the Über Mat for the first time and, definitely, this was the best investment I did lately. It's much easier to make stamping decals now. :)
