[Valentine's Mani] #2 : Blue Mix 'n Match with BP-11 by Born Pretty

Quem disse que mani de dia dos namorados tem que ser sempre Rosa ou vermelha? Não tem né?!

Por isso gosto de mudar as cores e dessa vez é a minha cor preferida.

Who says Valentine's manis need to be pink or red? Nobody right?!

That's why I like to change colors and this time it's my favorite color.

E aproveitei para resenhar mais uma plaquinha da Born Pretty. Sério, estou in love com essas plaquinhas deles! Quero todaaaaaaaas!

And I took the opportunity to review another Born Pretty stamping plate. I'm seriously in love with their plates. I want them all!

No médio e no indicador foram duas camadas do Swagger (piCture pOlish), carimbado usando a plaquinha BP-11 e o esmalte para carimbo branco da Mundo de Uñas.

No mindinho e no polegar foram duas camadas do White (Mavala) carimbado com o 42 Holland Blue também da Mundo de Uñas.
Não sei o que o Blogger está fazendo com as cores, mas ele está mudando todos os azuis e fazendo com que eles pareçam mais elétricos. Achei que fosse na configuração da câmera, mas dá para que não é porque as cores ficam fiéis no meu Flickr e na página do Facebook. Esse na verdade é um azul mais burple, como vocês podem ver na foto linkada no nome dele (tirada com o iPhone).

On the middle finger and index I applied two coats of Swagger (piCture pOlish), stamped using BP-11 and the white stamping polish by Mundo de Uñas.

On the pinky and thumb are two coats of White (Mavala) stamped using 42 Holland Blue, also by Mundo de Uñas.
I don't know what Blogger is doing with the colors, but it's changing all blues into electric blues. I thought it was a problem with the camera settings, but you can see it's not because the colors are accurate on my Flickr and on the Facebook page. This is actually a more burple tone, as you can see on the picture linked on its name (which I took with the iPhone).

UPDATE: A Val do blog Amo Nail Art me disse que a Penélope Luz fez um post sobre o blogger alterando as cores das fotos e como resolver o problema. Realmente, a diferença é enorme. Basta vocês irem no post da plaquinha BP-24 e vocês verao a cor exata do Bleu Majorelle da Yves Saint Laurent. Deixo aqui o link para o post da Penélope.
Val from the blog Amo Nail Art told me Penelope Luz made a blogpost about blogger changing colors of the pictures and how to fix the problem. It does make a big difference. You just have to go to the post where I review the image plate BP-24 and you'll see the accurate color of Blue Majorelle by Yves Saint Laurent. 

 

No anelar foram duas camadas bem generosas do Be My Lucky Star da Essence. Ele pertence à coleção Sparkle Sand e é um prata texturizado com glitter, coisa mais linda. Depois mostrarei-o sozinho. ;-)

On the ring finger I applied two generous coats of Be My Lucky Star by Essence. It's part of the Sparkle Sand collection and it's a silver textured with glitter, so pretty. I'll show it by itself later on. ;-)

Jasmine - Esmaltes da Kelly

Aqui estou numa correria ainda maior, mas estou muito muito feliz. Há 1 semana que meu irmão saiu da Itália e veio morar aqui na Bélgica. \o/

E pra comemorar essa felicidade, nada melhor que muito brilho né?!

I'm in an even bigger rush, but I'm very happy. It's been 1 week that my brother left Italy and came live in Belgium. \o/

And to celebrate all this happiness, nothing better than lots of sparkles right?! 

Esse é o Jasmine da Esmaltes da Kelly, coleção das Princesas e Vilãs da Disney. Mais um que é muito DIVO né?! A verdade é que não existe outro adjetivo para cada esmalte dessa coleção.

This is Jasmine by Esmaltes da Kelly, collection Disney's Princesses and Villains. Another one that is GORGEOUS, isn't it? Truth is there isn't another adjective for each polish of this collection.

Passei uma camadinha do Verde Aquático da Blant por cima de uma base fosca para facilitar a esmaltação.

I applied one coat of Verde Aquático by Blant over a matte base coat to make its application easier.

Depois passei duas camadas do Jasmine por cima e duas de top coat para ficar bem lisinho. Gente, esse esmalte é lindo demais! Estou apaixonada!

Then I applied two coats of Jasmine on top and two coats of top coat to have it very smooth. Guys, this polish is just perfect! I'm in love!

[Valentine's Mani] #1 : Toque de Rosa - Blant + Pueen

Como vocês já devem ter percebido, todo ano eu faço manis de dia dos namorados duas vezes. Agora em fevereiro porque o dia dos namorados no hemisfério norte é no dia 14, e em junho para acompanhar o dia dos namorados brasileiro.

As you must have already noticed, every year I make valentines manis twice. Now in February and in June, because Valentine's Day in Brazil is on the 12th of June.

Para essa mani super fofa usei o Toque de Rosa da Blant, coleção Flores & Cores, que a minha linda amiga Paula me deu. Obrigada amiga! Achei que ele fosse aguado, mas fiquei impressionada. Na segunda camada cobriu super bem e ele seca muito rápido. Parabéns Blant! Arrasou!

For this cute mani I used Toque de Rosa by Blant, from the collection Flowers & Colors. This is a Brazilian brand my sweet friend Paula sent me. Thank you so much bestie! I thought it was going to be a thin formula polish, watery you know?!... But I was impressed. It got fully opaque on the second coat and it dries pretty quickly. Congratulations Blant! You nailed it!

Ele é um rosa bem danoninho ou bala 7 belo... Gente, cês lembram dessa bala? Como eu adorava! Era capaz de comer um pacote inteiro... Kkkkkkkkk
Me perdoem pelas fotos toscas... uma lâmpada só não está dando conta. Mas comprarei outra amanhã e à partir da semana que vem eu já conseguirei tirar fotos melhores.

It's what I call "yogurt pink". Doesn't it look like strawberry yogurt color?

I'm sorry for the shity pictures... one lamp is not enough. But I'll buy another one tomorrow and from next week on I'll be able to take better pictures.

Carimbei usando a plaquinha PUEEN43 e o esmalte para carimbo 09 Red da Mundo de Uñas. Finalizei com as gotinhas de secagem rápida da Essence e o Insta-Dri da Sally Hansen.

I stamped using the image plate PUEEN43 and the stamping polish 09 Red by Mundo de Uñas. I applied some quick drying drops by Essence and topped with Insta-Dri by Sally Hansen.

Simplesmente amei essa mani. Achei fofa demais!

Review BP-24 Stamping Plate by Born Pretty

Esse azul divo é o Bleu Majorelle da Yves Saint Laurent, que ainda não consegui fotografar sozinho. Nas gêmeas foram duas camadas do Francesinha (Ellen Gold).

This gorgeous blue is Bleu Majorelle by Yves Saint Laurent, which I couldn't make a picture of it by itself yet. On the accent nails I applied two coats of Francesinha (Ellen Gold).

Para as flores fiz a carimbada invertida usando a plaquinha BP-24 e preenchi-as com um esmalte coral lindo que a Paula me deu e como coral pertence à família do vermelho, a câmera decidiu que ele ficaria vermelho mesmo... Rsrsrsrsrsrsrs 

For the flowers I made stamping decals using the plate BP-24 and filled them with a pretty coral polish Paula sent me and since coral belongs to the red color family, the camera decided it would look only red... Rsrsrsrsrsrss

Each and every single polish of this collection makes me drool more and more. I haven't been linking the shops where you can find them because I still want to make a big blogpost with all of them and then put Brazilian and international links.

Esse divo é o Mother Gothel da Esmaltes da Kelly. Ele é vinho em base jelly com glitters holográficos magenta, vermelho e azul.

This gorgeous is Mother Gothel by Esmaltes da Kelly. It's a wine shade in jelly base with magenta, red and blue holographic glitters.

Passei uma camada do Black Is Black como base e duas do Mother Gothel por cima. Já tinha usado esse lindo no Natal e dá para usar duas camadas dele sozinho, mas o divo mancha as unhas terrivelmente na hora de tirar.

I applied one coat of Black Is Black (Essence) as base and two of Mother Gothel on top. I used this pretty on Christmas and you can even apply only two coats of it and no base, but it stains like crazy when you take it off.

Levei-o para dar uma voltinha na Holanda há duas semanas e a minha sogra amou-o de paixão. Estou tão feliz de ter contribuído com a redescoberta dela pelo gosto de esmaltar! Até consegui comprar o (difícil de achar) I Like To Mauve It da Bourjois (que ela amou) para dar de presente pra ela quando for lá de novo.

I took it for a tour in Holland two weeks ago and my other-in-law loved it. I'm so happy I contributed with her discovering the pleasure of polishing! I even bought the (HTF) I Like to Mauve It by Bourjois, which she fell in love with, to give it to her next time I go there.

Dá para acreditar que o mês já acabou? Como assim? E eu achando que esse ano teria mais tempo para outras coisas.... Continuo trabalhando como uma louca, malhando 4x por semana e ainda estudando... Rsrsrsrsrsrsrs

Can you believe the month has already ended? How's that possible? And I was thinking this year I'd have more time for other stuff... I'm still working a lot, going to the gym 4x/week and studying... Rsrsrsrsrs

Enfim, o primeiro desencalhadinho do ano é o King of Greens da Catrice. Ele é um cremoso com shimmer prateado bem sutil. Super fácil de esmaltar e de limpar e seca rápido também. Características clássicas da marca. Adoro!
Anyway, the first polish to get out of the unused box is King of Greens by Catrice. It's a creme polish with a very subtle silver shimmer. Very easy to apply and to clean and it also dries quickly. Typical characteristics of the brand. I love it!

Nas gêmeas passei uma camada generosa do Francesinha (Ellen Gold) e apliquei os decalques da Born Pretty que tinha guardado na minha caixinha de material. Esses são daqueles de colocar na água, que são os mais fáceis de aplicar.
On the accent nails I applied one generous coat of Francesinha (Ellen Gold) and applied some water decals I got from Born Pretty Store and were sitting in my nail-tool box.

Finalizei tudo com o meu top coat preferido, o Insta- Dri da Sally Hansen, o mais perfeito de todos. Simplesmente amei essa mani. Acho que o decalque combinou super bem com o esmalte, vocês não acham?
I finished everything with my favorite top coat, Insta-Dri by Sally Hansen, the most perfect of them all. I simply love this mani. I think the decal was a perfect match with this polish, don't you think so too?

Review BP-17 Stamping Plate by Born Pretty

Today I have another Born Pretty review for you... More stamping plates I got! Uhuuuuuuuuuul!

Queria aproveitar para testar os meus esmaltes néon para carimbo da Mundo de Uñas... E falando neles, preciso fazer um post para mostrar todos para vocês.

I wanted to test my neon stamping polishes by Mundo de Uñas... And talking about them, I need to make a blogpost just to show them all to you.

Passei duas camadas do Black Is Black (Essence) e carimbei usando a plaquinha BP-17 e o 29 Neon Pink primeiro. Depois carimbei de novo com o 38 Neon Green. O rosa ficou menos evidente do que eu imaginava, mas o verde ficou perfeito!

I applied two coats of Black Is Black (Essence) and stamped using the image plate BP-17 and 29 Neon Pink first. Then I stamped again with 38 Neon Green. The pink one is less bright than I thought, but the green is perfect!

Amei demais essas flores e a carimbada dupla e com certeza usarei essa plaquinha de novo!

I love these flowers and the double stamping and I'll definitely use this plate again!
