Continuando com a saga do Novembro Azul, aqui está uma mani que amei de paixão. O pulguentinho de base é o Feeling Blue da Park Avenue, mas ele é tão discreto que nem dá pra ver direito que é pulguentinho. =/

Going on with the Movember saga, here's a mani I adore. The speckled I use as base is Feeling Blue by Park Avenue, but it's so discrete you can't even notice it's a speckled. =/

Como disse no post do Passionate About You, consegui comprar todos os outros e vou fazer um postão com os swatches da coleção, por isso não mostro ele peladinho aqui. 

As I said on the Passionate About You post, I was able to buy the whole collection and will make a big post with swatches, so I don't show it on its own now.

A carimbada foi usando a plaquinha NC02 da Nailz Craze usando o esmalte para carimbo 1 White da Mundo de Uñas. Amo demais essas plaquinhas e essa é uma estampa que acho muito linda.

I stamped using the image plate NC02 by Nailz Craze and the stamping polish 1 White by Mundo de Uñas. I love these plates and this a a pattern I find very pretty.

Estão conseguindo fazer manis azuis?

Há muito tempo que queria testar esse lápis para pegar pedrinhas da Born Pretty e não me arrependo nem um pouco de tê-lo pedido. Vocês podem encontra-lo aqui.

Ele é um como um outro qualquer, só que feito de cera. Basta encostar na pedrinha ou no stud para pegá-lo.

It's like any other pencil, but it's made of wax. You just have to touch the rhinestone or the stud to pick it.

Eu sempre pegava essas coisinhas com o palitinho de laranjeira umedecido e me peguei milhares de vezes xingando o coitado por não fazer o serviço direito.

I always picked those things with a wet orange woodstick and many times I found myself yelling at it because it just wouldn't do it properly.

Pois com esse lápis meus problemas acabaram... organizações Tabajara.... Hahahahahaha... Não resisti! :-P

Well, this picker solved all my problems.

Aproveitei para fazer essa mani inspirada nessa daqui da Sonia (@badgirlnails). Há tempos que tinha essa mani na pastinha de inspirações e amei o resultado. Mas mostrarei-a com detalhes na semana que vem porque o post já ficou enorme né?

I even made this mani inspired on this one by Sonia (@badgirlnails). It's been a long time I have this one in my inspiration folder and I love the result. But I'll show it to you next week with more details because this post is already huge, right?

My Voice is a Little Norse - O.P.I.

Espero que sim. Dá para acreditar que o ano já está no final e daqui a 1 mês eu vou para o Brasil? Uhuuuuuuul! Não vejo a horaaaaaa. Estou em contagem regressiva! Hahahahahha
A mani de hoje eu fiz na metade de outubro, mas só agora que tive tempo de postar.

I hope all is well. Can you believe the year is almost over and in a month I'll be heading to Brazil? Uhuuuuuuuul! I'm looking forward to it. Let the countdown start! Hahahahha
I did this mani in mid-October but only had time to publish it now.

Desde que vi o My Voice is a Little Norse da coleção Nordic da O.P.I. eu sabia que precisava dele. Mesmo tendo inúmeros glitters na minha coleção, eles são todos diferentes né?
Passei uma camada generosa sobre o Prune Minimale (Yves Saint Laurent), mas acho que poderia ter passado uma camada mais fina.
Since I saw My Voice is a Little Norse from the Nordic collection by O.P.I. I knew I needed it. Although I have numerous glitters in my stash, they're all different, right?
I applied one generous coat over Prune Minimale (Yves Saint Laurent), but I think I could've applied a thinner coat instead.

Na verdade, ele até parece bastante com o Glistening Snow da China Glaze, mas como nunca usei o GS por cima de nenhum outro esmalte, não tenho certeza. Seria até uma boa idéia fazer um post comparativo né? O que vocês acham?
Actually, it even looks a lot like Glistening Snow by China Glaze, but since I never used GS on top of any other polish, I'm not sure. It would be a good idea to make a comparison post, don't you think?

Lembro que esmaltei numa quarta à noite e não tive luz suficiente para tirar boas fotos na quinta de manhã, por isso aproveitei o sol do sábado seguinte para tirar fotos dele brilhando. Muito lindo esse esmalte. Terei que tentar com outras cores de base também.
I remember I did this mani on a Wednesday evening and didn't have enough light on Thursday morning to take good pictures, so I took advantage of the following sunny Saturday to take sparkling pictures. This polish is really gorgeous. I have to try it with different base colours as well.

[Movember] #3: Mix 'n Match for Nailstorming

Mais uma vez resolvi participar do Nailstorming de domingo - uma brincadeira organizada todos os domingos pela francesa Emma do blog Mademoiselle Emma - e esse domingo o tema é Novembro Azul.

Once again I decided to join the Sunday Nailstorming - a challenge organized every Sunday by the French blogger Emma from Mademoiselle Emma - and this Sunday's theme is Blue November.

Fiz a mix 'n match usando o The King da Missp, por isso tirei uma foto dele peladinho para vocês verem. Não sei o que está errado nas configurações da câmera, mas todos os azuis nesse tom tem ficado bem elétricos e os rosas choque tem ficado vermelhos. Não é Photoshopis não viu gente?! Foram duas camadas e esse brilho é todo dele mesmo.
I made a mix 'n match using The King by Missp, so I took a picture of it "naked" so you can see. I don't know what's wrong with the settings of my camera, but all those shades of blue are way brighter than real and the hot pinks are turning red. There's no Photoshop there, ok?! Here are two coats and this is its own natural shine.

Deixei-o no anelar e no polegar e fui brincar com a M&M. No médio foram duas camadas do Maliblue (Catrice), no mindinho e no indicador duas do Coconut (Barry M). No polegar fiz poás usando o menor boleador que tenho e o Coconut mesmo e no mindinho usando o The King. No indicador eu ia fazer listras, mas não ficaram legais, dai optei por simples studs azuis.
I kept it on the ring finger and on the thumb and went playing with the M&M. On the middle finger are two coats of Maliblue (Catrice), on the pinky and index two of Coconut (Barry M). On the thumb I made dots using the smallest dotting tool I own and Coconjt itself and on the pinky using The King. On the index I was going to make stripes, but they didn't look nice, so I just went with simple studs.

Para finalizar fiz um Monsieur no anelar, diferente do ano passado. Usei tinta acrílica preta e um pincel para detalhes. Porque não poderia faltar um bigodinho nesse mês né? 
To finish off I made a Monsieur on the ring finger, different than last year's. I used acrylic paint and a detail brush. Of course I couldn't let November go by without a mustache, right?

Swatches Rock Out!! Collection by Essence

Como prometido anteriormente, aqui vão os swatches da nova coleção Rock Out!! da Essence. Só não consegui tirar foto do que brilha no escuro porque não tenho luz negra (preciso providenciar uma urgente), mas já estou correndo atrás de uma para adicionar as fotos à esse post aqui depois. 
As I have promised before, here are the swatches of the new Rock Out!! collection by Essence. The only one I couldn't photograph is the glow in the dark top coat because I don't have a black light (I have to get one urgently), but I'm looking for one so I can add the pictures to this post afterwards.

Não é só o formato do vidrinho que é diferente não, o pincel também é. Ele não é largo e achatado como o pincel clássico da marca (uma pena), mas também é fácil de esmaltar. Todas as fotos foram tiradas em luz natural e sem top coat.
It's not only the shape of the bottle that is different, the brush too. It's not wide and flat like the regular one (what a shame), but it's also easy to use. All pictures were taken under natural daylight and without top coat.

Best Female: glass fleck em base jelly, com shimmer dourado e rosa. Fácil de aplicar, precisou de três camadas para cobrir completamente.
Jelly glass fleck, with golden and pink shimmer. Easy to apply, needs three coats to build opacity.

Best Hip-Hop: glitters finos coloridos em base jelly preta translúcida. Aplicação também é fácil. Cobre complemente em três camadas.
Tiny colourful glitter in a black sheer jelly base. Also easy to apply. Builds opacity in three coats.

Best Pop: glass fleck em base crelly. Fácil aplicação, o único que cobre perfeitamente em duas camadas, justamente por ser crelly e não jelly.
Crelly glass fleck. Easy application, the only one that covered perfectly in two coats, because it's a crelly and not a jelly.

Best Rock: glass fleck em base jelly. O mais translúcido de todos. Também de fácil aplicação e cobertura em três camadas. (só tem uma foto porque fui retardada o suficiente para excluir a outra sem querer... rsrsrsrsr)
Jelly glass fleck. The most sheer of them all. Also easy to apply and opaque in three coats. (there's only one picture of this one because I was dumb enough to accidentally delete the other picture... rsrsrsrsr)  

  Biggest Fan é um top coat com estrelinhas holográficas. Ele brilha no escuro mesmo, mas a Canon não entende isso e o iPhone também não. Por isso não consegui fotografar sem o auxílio de uma luz negra. Como disse no início do post, assim que eu conseguir uma, faço fotos dele e adiciono à esse post aqui. Enquanto isso, vocês podem vê-lo brilhando nessa foto aqui e nessa aqui em luz natural sobre um esmalte amarelo.
It's a top coat with holographic star shaped glitters. It really glows in the dark, but the Canon didn't understand that, neither did the iPhone. So I couldn't photograph it without the assistance of a black light. So, as I say in the beginning of this post, as soon as I get a black light, I'll take pictures of it and will add to this post. In the mean time, you can see it glowing here and under natural daylight over a yellow base here.

[Movember] #2: Blue Blingness

Como essa semana não podia faltar uma mani azul, dessa vez me inspirei na minha lixa de vidro da Mont Bleu que ganhei para resenha e mostrei nesse post aqui.
How are you doing? I hope everything is ok.
Since this week couldn't go by without a blue mani, this time I got inspired by my glass nail file my Mont Bleu I got for review and showed you here.

O azul escolhido foi o Cinderella da Missp. Acho que o nome do esmalte é perfeito porque ele tem a cor exata do vestido da Cinderela. Foram duas camadas super fáceis de esmaltar e nem precisei usar base fosca (porque esqueci... abafa!).
The blue I picked was Cinderella by Missp. I think this name fits it perfectly because it's the exact colour of Cinderella's dress. Here are two easy coats and I didn't even need to use a matte VAE coat (because I forgot... LOL).

Fiz um dégradé usando o Succès Azuré (Bourjois) e mesmo tendo ficado bem discreto nas fotos por causa dessa luz cinza aqui da Bélgica, ele ficou bem evidente ao vivo. O dia que eu pegar o jeito dos gradientes será o dia mais feliz da minha vida esmaltística.
I made a gradient using Succès Azuré (Bourjois) and even if it looks very subtle on the pictures because of Belgium's grey daylight, it was quite evident in person. The day I get the hang of gradients will be the happiest day of my NPA's life.

Completei a mani com bastante bling, como vocês podem ver... hahahahah
Apesar de chamar bastante atenção e do gradiente ainda não ter ficado como eu queria, gostei bastante do resultado.
I completed this mani with a lot of bling, as you can see... Hahahahahaha

Even if it draws a lot of looks and the gradient is not as I wanted it to be, I still like the result .

Red Roses by Born Pretty

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo uma loucura só.
Como falei na sexta, comecei uma nova função lá no trabalho e estou cheia de tarefas novas, muito mais responsabilidade e muito menos tempo. Como ainda estou em treinamento, tenho que me dedicar mais do que o normal, por isso vou ficar em falta com vocês por um tempinho tá?!
How are you doing? Everything is crazy busy here.
As I said on Friday, I started a new function at my job and I'm full of new tasks, much more responsibility and much less time. Since I'm still in training, I have to dedicate myself even more than usual, so I'll owe you visits for a while, ok?! 

Dessa vez eu resenho essas lindas películas em water decal que vieram lá da lojinha Born Pretty. Para quem não sabe o que são water decals, são películas que imersas em água por alguns segundos, se soltam do papel e basta posicionar na unha. Elas são super fáceis de aplicar.
This time I review these pretty water decals that came from Born Pretty Store. For those who don't know what are water decals, they're like nail wraps that when soaked in water for a few seconds they peel off the paper and you just have to apply it on the nail. They're very easy to apply. 

Como cor de base escolhi o Candy Land da coleção Wonderland da Missp, "filha" da marca portuguesa Purple Professional. Ele é um vermelho bem vivo com tom de fundo laranja. Quanto ao acabamento, acho que ele está mais para crelly do que para cremoso, porque tem aquela aparência gelatinosa, mas cobre perfeitamente na segunda camada. Esse brilho todo é dele mesmo.
As base colour I picked Candy Land from the Wonderland collection by Missp, "daughter" of the Portuguese brand Purple Professional. It's a very bright red with an orange undertone. As for the finish, I'd say it's more of a crelly than a creme, because it looks squishy, but gets fully opaque on the second coat. This is its natural shine, no top coat.

Depois retirei-o do médio e do anelar e passei uma camada do Branco para carimbo da Blant como base e apliquei os water decals quando o branco já estava bem seco. Amei essas películas, aliás, amo flores. Nas outras unhas coloquei apenas um bling para não ficar muito cheio de informação.
Next, I took it off of the middle and ring finger and applied one coat of Branco stamping polish by Blant as base and applied the water decals when it was completely dry. I love these decals, well, I love flowers. On the other nails I just put a bling so it wouldn't be too busy.
