Cute Frankenstein

Tudo bem por aí?
Por aqui tudo enlouquecedoramente ótimo. Saí de um desafio para entrar em outro e continuo com o tempo escasso... kkkkkk
Mas estou conseguindo cumprir o meu objetivo de fazer mais manis para o Halloween esse ano e amei essa daqui. Acho que ficou muito fofa mesmo.
How are you doing?
I'm happily crazy busy. I finished a challenge to start another and I'm still lacking time.
But I'm being able to make more Halloween manis this year and I love this one. I think it turned out super cute.

Comecei com duas camadas do Lime Catwalk da Bourjois, outro encalhadinho. Achei a fórmula dele um tiquinho mais fluída do que os outros da linha, mas nada que escorra em litros para as cutículas. Cobre super bem em duas camadas, seca rápido e é fácil de limpar.
I started off with two coats of Lime Catwalk by Bourjois, another untried. I think its formula is a little more fluid than the other ones from this line, but nothing like liters of polish running to the cuticles. It gets fully opaque in two coats, dries quickly and it's easy to clean.
 

Desenhei o Frankenstein no indicador usando tinta acrílica preta e esse tutorial aqui. A noiva dele eu copiei de uma foto que não lembro onde vi. Os olhinhos e o detalhe no cabelo da noiva também fiz com tinta.
I drew the cute Frankenstein on the index using black acrylic paint and this tutorial here. I made his bride according to a picture I saw somewhere. The eyes and the detail on the bride's hair I also made with paint.
 

Nas outras unhas apenas fiz as cicatrizes com pontos para não deixar sem nada. Uma camadinha do extra brilho com óleo de argan da Ideal e voilà.
On the other nails I only made the scars with stitches so they would have something on them. I topped everything with the Brazilian top coat by Ideal (which I've been using a lot lately) and voilà.

Mont Bleu Glass Nail File Set - Sorteio / Giveaway

Hoje eu estou muito muito feliz e tenho certeza que vocês também ficarão. Semana passada eu recebi um e-mail da Design Glassware by Mont Bleu, marca Tcheca de lixas de vidro, perguntando se me interessaria fazer um sorteio de um dos novos sets de lixas que eles acabaram de lançar. Lógico que eu aceitei né?!
Today I'm very very happy and I'm sure you'll be happy as well. Last week I got an e-mail from Design Glassware by Mont Bleu, Czech glass nail file brand, asking if I was interested in hosting a giveaway of one of their new sets. Of course I accepted, right?!

Já fiz uma resenha aqui e, mais uma vez, super recomendo os produtos da marca. A lixa pequena, o espelho e a pinça eu carrego na bolsa para eventual necessidade, a maior eu deixo na minha maleta de material em casa. Não costumo lixar as unhas todos os dias, mas ao menos duas vezes na semana uso as minhas bonitas. Confesso que elas são tão maravilhosas que até deixei de lado as outras lixas que tenho.

I made a review here and, once again, I highly recommend their products. I carry in my purse the mini file, the pocket mirror and the tweezers, the medium file I leave at home in my tools' suitcase. [Pink October] #3: Water Marble

Tudo bem com vocês por aí? Por aqui tudo ótimo. De volta à rotina casa/trabalho/academia/casa e com mais unhas para vocês. Esse mês o ritmo das esmaltações vai ser mais lento, porque além de ter enfiado o pé na jaca mês passado, decidi aceitar o desafio do Insanity Workout e fazer 5x por semana durante 2 meses para ver se esse lance de esculpir o corpo em dois meses é possível mesmo... :-P
How are you doing? Everything is great here. Back to the home/work/gym/home routine and with more nails for you guys. This month's rhythm of doing my nails will be slower, because besides having played crazy last month, I decided to take the Insanity Workout challenge seriously and do it 5x a week during two months to see if this 'sculpting the body in two months' thing is really possible… :-P

Esse rosinha muito amor é o Brave da Missp, uma submarca da marca portuguesa Purple Professional. Foram duas camadas muito fáceis sobre base fosca. Consistência bem fluída e cremosa, pigmentação excelente. Não escorre, não arrasta e não mancha. A secagem é excelente e a limpeza é super fácil. Comprei 10 esmaltinhos da marca nas minhas férias em Portugal e falarei com calma sobre cada um deles.
This super cute pink is Brave my Missp, a daughter brand of the Portuguese brand Purple Professional. Here are two easy coats over a matte base coat. Very smooth creme formula with great pigmentation. It doesn't run, it doesn't drag and it doesn't leave bald spots. Drying time is great and it's very easy to clean.
I bought 10 polishes of this brand during my vacation in Portugal and will talk about each one of them.

Agora que peguei o jeito, não quero saber de outra coisa, por isso fiz um water marble usando o Brave mesmo, o Laced Up e o Traffic Jam, ambos da China Glaze. Infelizmente as fotos não ficaram como eu esperava, porque essa luz cinza de merda aqui da Bélgica estraga qualquer coisa.
Now that I got the hang of it, I don't want to do anything else, so I did a water marble using Brave itself, Laced Up and Traffic Jam, both by China Glaze. Unfortunately the pictures are not like I expected, because this shitty (sorry for that) gray light from Belgium ruins everything. 
 

Preciso achar os lampadários para as minhas lâmpadas, urgente. Os esmaltes são todos em tom rosa, mas mesmo mudando as configurações da câmera, ficaram vermelhos. Por isso tirei uma foto com o iPhone para vocês verem melhor as cores.
I have to find the table lamps for my bulbs, urgently. The polishes are all pink, but even changing the camera settings, they still turned red. So I took a picture with the iPhone so you can see the accurate colours.

Simplesmente amei essa mani.

Maliblue - Catrice

Então, vocês sabem que a minha cor preferida é o azul né? E que sou loucamente apaixonada pelo acabamento liquid sand. Queria ter todos os texturizados existentes! Heheheheheheh

So, you know by now my favorite color is blue right? And that I'm crazy in love by liquid sand finishes. I wanted to have all the liquid sands in the world! Hehehehehe

O lindo de hoje é o Maliblue da Catrice. Um tom de azul maravilhoso. Dá pra acreditar que esse post está nos meus rascunhos há mais de três meses e eu não tive tempo de postá-lo? Que pecadooooooo!

Today's gorgeous is Maliblue by Catrice. A gorgeous shade of blue. Can you believe this post was in my drafts for more than three months and I didn't get to publish it? What a shaaaaaaaame!

Fiquei apaixonada por esse lindo. Já mostrei os dois outros da coleção que eu consegui comprar: Waikiki Peach e Sandhopper. Esse aqui só não ganha do Pool Crush da IsaDora, que até agora é o azul sand mais perfeito que encontrei!

I'm in love with this one. I have already showed you the other two I got from the same collection: Waikiki Peach and Sandhopper. This one here only loses for Pool Crush by IsaDora, that up to now it the prettiest blue sand I've ever found!

De qualquer forma, o Maliblue não fica atrás não! O típico BBB, bom, bonito e barato! :-)

How are you doing? I'm great. Vacation's finished because I go back to Brussels today. I just packed my bag and checked-out of the hotel. Olá meninas!!
Eu fiquei super feliz com o convite para participar do V.I.P.A., mas confesso que também fiquei um pouco tímida. É que lá no blog da minha irmã, eu só colaboro com as nails, nunca escrevo porque sempre achei que não tenho muito jeito para isso! >.<
Mas deixando o blá blá blá de lado, a nail art que eu escolhi para hoje é uma recriação - uma homenagem - como forma de agradecimento e retribuição ao carinho da Gio!

Na verdade esta nail art foi a primeira de muitas esmaltadas da Gio que eu amei. Foi amor à primeira vista! Eu particularmente adoro a técnica splatter, mas a combinação das cores foi o que mais me agradou!

Esta é a segunda vez que eu faço esta nail e provavelmente farei mais vezes! =)

Além do esmalte azul Chills & Thrills da Essie, eu usei o Essie Blanc, o Candy Pêche da Marionnaud e o Essence 01 TOOOR! da coleção limitada Go, Go Goal!

Water Marble for Halloween

Esse mês eu decidi que farei mais manis de Halloween do que no ano passado. Agora só tenho que ver se conseguirei né?!
This month I decided I'll make more Halloween manis than last year. Now I just have to see if I get to do them, right?!

 Resolvi começar com o meu segundo water marble bem sucedido, usando cores típicas do Halloween: preto, laranja e roxo.
I started with my second successful water marble, using colours that are typical on Halloween: black, orange and purple.

 Usei esse tutorial aqui da rainha do water marble Mucking Fusser e as cores: Atomic Orange (OPI), Black (Colorama), Grape Pop (China Glaze) e Storm (Zoya).

Simplesmente amei essa mani e estou muito orgulhosa do resultado. Fiz as pazes com a técnica e quero tentar muitas outras vezes.
I simply love this mani and I'm very proud of the result. I made peace with this technique and I want to try it much more now.

[Pink October] #2: Heart Decals

Para a segunda mani do Outubro Rosa eu optei por uma técnica que adoro e que vocês já viram por aqui milhares de vezes: carimbada invertida (ou decalque de carimbo).
For the second mani of Pink for October I picked a technique I adore and you have already seen here many times: stamping decal (or reverse stamping or advanced stamping).

O esmalte escolhido para reinar nessa mani foi o Pink Punch (Barry M), um rosa choque glossy maravilhoso. Super fácil de esmaltar, cobre perfeitamente já na primeira camada. Infelizmente não consegui tirar nenhuma foto dele sozinho porque os dias aqui já começaram a encurtar e eu ainda não consegui achar os lampadários para terminar o meu mini estúdio. Mimimimimi
The polish I pick to reign on this mani is Pink Punch (Barry M), a wonderful glossy hot pink. Very easy to apply, it gets fully opaque already on the first coat. Unfortunately I didn't get to take any pictures of it plain because the days are getting shorter here and I still didn't find the lamps to put my bulbs in and finish the light box. Mimimimimi 

No anelar e no polegar foram duas camadas do Alpine Snow (OPI) e fiz os decalques com os corações da plaquinha PUEEN35. Preenchi o contorno dos corações com um glitter, mas acho que teria ficado melhor se tivesse usado um holo, porque acabou ficando falhado. Mas só pensei nisso depois que estava pronto...
On the thumb and pinky are two coats of Alpine Snow (OPI) and I made the decals with the hearts from the image plate PUEEN35. I filled the outlines of the hearts with a glitter, but I think it would've looked better with a holo, because there are some bald spots there. But I only thought of it when it was already done... 

Nas outras unhas coloquei apenas um bling para incrementar e cobri tudo com o extra brilho com óleo de argan da Ideal. Essa foi mais uma mani que amei demais.
Infelizmente a câmera não captou o tom dele de jeito nenhum. Ele é bem mais rosa e mais fechado ao vivo. Mas acho que o meu monitor também não está bem calibrado. Pode ser isso... Olhem aqui no post da Lucy.
On the other nails I only put a bling to add some awesomeness and topped everything with the Brazilian top coat Ideal. This is another mani I love a lot. Unfortunately the camera didn't capture its true colour. It's much more pink and still a little darker. It can also be that my screen is not well calibrated. I think... Have a look at Lucy's post. 

Até tentei dar uma modificada na foto para ver se conseguia a cor exata dele, mas nem assim. Se bem que, ele está muito mais próximo dessa cor da foto alterada do que nas fotos originais.
I even tried to process the picture a bit to see if I could get its accurate color, but no. Although, it's much closer to this colour on the processed picture than on the original ones.
