Oi meninas, tudo bem?

Eu sou a Aline do blog Vício de Menina e a Gio me convidou para o V.I.P.A.! Vocês não têm idéia da minha felicidade ao receber o convite.

A Gio é uma grande inspiração e por causa dela que comprei meus adesivos de Chevron nails e também minha primeira plaquinha da MoYou (cheia de flores como eu amo!).

Para participar decidi fazer uma nail art para o verão usando os adesivos de Chevron. Por coincidência, a Gio postou no começo da semana uma nail art bem parecida!
Todas as cores que eu usei são da coleção Meu Paraíso da Quem disse, Berenice?, como ela está com os tons de tendência aqui no Brasil e são bem pigmentados, não teve erro.

Como base, usei o Lilarisa e fiz um desenho para seguir a ordem dos tons e não me perder. As outras cores são: Verdolha (verde), Rosaquídia (rosa) e Zuzuceu (azul).

Procurei fazer uma sequência, formando triângulos nas unhas. O legal é que você pode usar 2 ou mais cores, é só usar a criatividade.

Gio mais uma vez obrigada pelo convite, me senti honrada! Muito feliz!! E obrigada também por todas as inspirações!♥

31DC2014 Day 13: Animal Print

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo ótimo. A mani de hoje foi decidida com bastante antecedência, para ser bem precisa, no dia do festival Pukkelpop que mostrei para vocês nesse post aqui.
How are you doing? Everything is great here. Today's mani was decided way in advance, on the Pukkelpop Festival I showed here, to be precise.

Quando vi o moletom do Snoop Dogg me apaixonei e decidi que seria essa a mani para a estampa animal do desafio, mesmo tendo feito estampa de leopardo no desafio passado... hehehehehe
When I saw Snoop Dogg's hoodie I fell in love with it and decided it would be my animal print mani for the challenge, even if I did leopard print for the last challenge... LOL

Para a minha felicidade, o Blue Curaçao da Mavala é praticamente igual ao teal do moletom dele, sendo que a Canon não quis captar a cor exata dele. Até tentei recalibrar a tela do computador para ver se melhorava, mas não deu certo. Por isso tirei uma foto com o iPhone também para vocês verem a cor fiel. 
Luckily, Blue Curaçao by Mavala is practically the same teal of his hoodie, but the Canon didn't want to capture it accurately. I even tried to recalibrate the computer screen to see if it would look better, but it didn't work. So I took an extra picture with the iPhone to show you the accurate colour.

 

Foram duas camadinhas de muito amor. A fórmula dele é excelente e o pincel é bem macio. Não escorre para as cutículas e é fácil de limpar. E o melhor de tudo é que ele seca super mega rápido, mas tem cara de que mancha um pouquinho na hora de tirar. Só saberei ao certo hoje à noite. =/
Two easy coats. The formula is great and the brush is very smooth. It doesn't run to the cuticles and it's easy to clean. The best part is that it dries pretty quickly, but it looks like a stainer. I'll only know this evening. =/

Carimbei com a plaquinha BM-221 da Bundle Monster e o meu esmalte preto para carimbo da Konad (que já está no fim... mimimimi). Acabei esquecendo de passar as gotinhas mágicas da Essence e o extra brilho com óleo de argan da Ideal arrastou um pouquinho a carimbada.
I stamped with BM-221 by Bundle Monster and my Konad black (which is almost finished... mimimimi). I forgot to put the quick drying drops by Essence and the Brazilian top coat I used smeared it a little bit.

Também esqueci que esse sem-vergonha sempre arrasta a carimbada e que o melhor top coat (na minha opinão pessoal) para não arrastar é o Insta-Dri da Sally Hansen. #shameonme
Mesmo assim, gostei bastante da mani.
I also forgot this is not the best top coat for stamping and that the best one (in my personal opinion) is Insta-Dri by Sally Hansen. #shameonme
Anyway, I like this mani a lot.

Já cansaram de mim? Espero que não.
Gostaria de me desculpar pela ausência na maioria dos blogs de vocês. Com o trabalho a tempo integral, academia 5 vezes por semana e fazendo as unhas todos os dias, meus dias ficaram ainda mais curtos. Prometo que assim que a loucura acabar eu me redimo, ok?
Are you tired of me already? I hope not.
I'd like to apologize for my absence on most of your blogs. With a full-time job, gym 5 times a week and doing a mani a day, my days are even shorter.
I promise I'll redeem myself as soon as this madness ends, ok?

Queria uma mani super elaborada, cheia de fitinhas e talz, mas como tinha pouco tempo para fazê-la ontem à noite, acabei optando pelo (relativamente) rápido e fácil. Me inspirei nessa mani aqui da Mary Monkett.
I wanted a very elaborate mani, full of tapes and stuff, but since I have little time to do it yesterday evening, I pick something (relatively) quick and easy. I was inspired by this mani here from Mary Monkett.

Comecei com apenas uma camada do Francesinha (Ellen Gold) como base e passei top coat para proteger. Depois, unha por unha, fui colocando as fitinhas bem fininhas (aquelas chatinhas que não fixam direito) e preenchendo os espaços.
I started with only one coat of Francesinha (Ellen Gold) as base and top coated it to protect. Then, nail by nails, I placed the stripping tape and filled the spaces.

O rosa mais claro é o Peach and Love (Bourjois), o do meio é o Pink Punch (Barry M) - que ainda mostrarei por aqui - e o scattered holo da pontinha é o Miss Conduct (Orly) - que merece um post melhor, por isso não vou linkar aqui. (Ignorem o vidrinho que veio sujo)
The lightest pink is Peach and Love (Bourjois), the middle pink is Pink Punch (Barry M) - which I'll still show here - and the scattered holo at the tip is Miss Conduct (Orly) - which deserves a better post, so I won't link it here. (Ignore the bottle that came dirty)

Para não arrastar o bagulho todo, passei top coat na diagonal, seguindo a direção das listras. Não sei onde foi que vi essa dica, mas essa pessoa salvou a minha vida! \o/
In order to keep my stripes neat and not drag the whole thing, I applied the top coat diagonally, following the direction of the stripes. I don't know where I've seen it, but this person saved my life! \o/

Good morning pretties!

Pontinhos, pontinhos e mais pontinhos... essa é uma das técnicas que mais gosto, por ser fácil de fazer e não precisar de muita perfeição (apesar de eu sempre buscá-la... kkkkk).
Dots, dots and more dots... this is one of my favourite techniques, because it's easy to make and doesn't require much perfectionism (even though I'm always striving for it... LMAO).

Para essa mani vez resolvi reinventar uma mani que já tinha feito lá no comecinho do blog e que foi uma cópia de um das manis da francesa Pshiiit. Curiosas? Olhem aqui.
For this mani I decided to recreate a mani I've copied from the French blogger Pshiiit when I first started blogging. Curious? Check it out here. 

No indicador, médio e mindinho foram duas camadas do Corail Magique (Bourjois) e fiz as bolinhas com o roxo; e no polegar e no anelar duas camadas do Grape Pop (China Glaze) e fiz as bolinhas com o coral.
On the index, middle finger and pinky are two coats of Corail Magique (Bourjois) and made the dots with purple; and on the thumb and ring finger are two coats of Grape Pop (China Glaze) and made the dots with the coral.

Já usei essa mesma combinação nesse post aqui, participando do New 31DC2013 e estava doida para usá-la de novo pois acho tão linda.
I've used the same colour combo on this post here, participating of the New 31DC2013 and I was dying to use it again because I think it's very pretty.

Aproveitei para testar um novo top coat da Essence, mas o coitado não deu conta do recado. Vocês podem ver a nail art de lençol no anelar... rsrsrsrsrss
I took the opportunity to test a new top coat by Essence, but poor him, he couldn't handle it. You can see the bed sheet nail art on the ring finger... LOL

A mani de hoje é mais uma que tenho orgulho em dizer que melhorou. Sei que ainda preciso treinar muito os gradientes/dégradés e que está longe daquela transição homogênea, mas estou muito feliz com o resultado.
Today's mani is another one I'm proud to say it improved. I know I still have to practice gradients a lot and it's far from a smooth transition, but I'm quite happy with the result.

Como base usei o Adora-Bleu (Bourjois) e esponjei com o Pacific Blue (Sally Hansen) e o Eurso Euro (OPI). Não sei porque ainda não consigo a transição homogênea... talvez tenha que mudar a técnica.
I used Adora-Bleu (Bourjois) as a base and sponged with Pacific Blue (Sally Hansen) and Eurso Euro (OPI). I don't know why I can't get a smooth transition yet... maybe I need to change my technique. 

Visto que a transição não ficou homogênea como queria, dei uma escondida com o Fairy Dust (China Glaze). Oh glitterzinho mais que perfeito viu? Ele deixa qualquer mani delicada e com um brilho que eu amo de paixão.
Since the transition is not as smooth as I wanted, I hid it with Fairy Dust (China Glaze). What a perfect glitter! It's makes any mani delicate and sparkling, just the way I like it.

Para fazer o gradiente eu passo o esmalte direto na esponja, dou umas batidinhas de leve no papel para tirar o excesso e em seguida aplico na unha, mas mesmo assim ainda não está legal. Já ouvi dizer que molhar a esponja facilita. Vocês tem outras dicas?
To make the gradient I apply the polish directly on the sponge, then I dab it on a piece of paper to get the excess off and then apply on the nails, but even though it's not good yet. I heard that wetting the sponge helps. Do you have any other tips?

Apesar de não ainda não ter ficado como eu queria, ficou muito melhor do que a do desafio passado. O que vocês acham?
Even if it's not how I wanted it to be, it's much better than last challenge's one. What do you think?

Então, vocês lembram que a minha mão arco-íris do ano passado foi um fiasco né? Não lembram? Olhem aqui. Dessa vez eu decidi fazer uma coisa bem diferente e me inspirei nessa mani aqui da Sarah (Chalkboard Nails).

So, do you remember that my rainbow nails from the last challenge was a big fail? No? Check here. This time I decided to do something very different and got inspired by this mani here made by Sarah (Chalkboard Nails).

Ia fazer o arco-íris em tons naturais, mas acabei optando por tons pastel e agora olhando as fotos é que vi que o azul claro e o verde ficaram praticamente iguais. Uma pena, pois ao vivo dá para ver bem a diferença.
I was going to make the rainbow in the regular colours, but decided to give it a try with pastel colours and only now, uploading the pictures, I saw that the light blue and the green are almost the same. It's a shame, because you can really see the difference on the nails.

Comecei com base fosca, lógico, e unha por unha, fui colocando a fitinha chevron na diagonal e pintando cada lado de uma cor.
I started with a matte base coat, of course, and nail by nail, I placed the chevron vinyls diagonally and filled each side with a colour.

Os esmaltes usados foram, do roxo ao vermelho: Lavendairy (Lime Crime), Succès Azuré (Bourjois), Uptown Blue (Maybelline), Mint Jade (Maybelline), Lookout Lemon (Maybelline), Bring Me Peach (Catrice) e Nailpolish 30 (Park Avenue). Finalizei com o Insta-Dri da Sally Hansen e depois decidi ver como ficaria com top coat matte e adorei o resultado!
The polishes I used are, from purple to red: Lavendairy (Lime Crime), Succès Azuré (Bourjois), Uptown Blue (Maybelline), Mint Jade (Maybelline), Lookout Lemon (Maybelline), Bring Me Peach (Catrice) and Nailpolish 30 (Park Avenue). I finished with Insta-Dri by Sally Hansen and then decided to mattify it and see how it would look. I love the result!

Confesso que estou muito mais feliz com o resultado dessa mani do que o meu arco-íris tosco do desafio passado.
I have to say I'm much happier with this one than with my fail rainbow from the last challenge.

Até agora acho que estou me saindo bem nesse desafio. N.S. dos Esmaltes está me ajudando com inspiração e paciência. Só preciso de algumas horinhas extras nos meus dias, dá pra ser?

I think I've been doing well. Holy Mother of Polishes has been helping me with inspiration and patience. Now I just need a couple of extra hours in my days, is it possible?

Para as unhas metálicas escolhi um encalhadinho da minha coleção. Esse é o Pink & Proud da Essence. Achei-o muito mais lilás do que rosa, mas tudo bem.
For metallic nails I picked another untried polish from my stash. This is Pink & Proud by Essence. I find it much more lilac than pink, but ok.

Ele é super fácil de esmaltar, mas achei meio chatinho de limpar porque vai deixando partículas metálicas nos cantinhos na unha. Tem que ser muito cuidadosa na hora de passar se não quiser ficar um tempão limpando os cantinhos. Ainda bem que faço esmaltação americana! :-D
It's very easy to apply, but a little annoying to clean because it leaves metallic particles around the nails. You have to be very careful to apply it if you don't want to spend a long time with clean up.
 

Cheguei a pensar em carimbar por cima, mas acabei desistindo. Também não passei top coat porque vou tirar hoje à noite mesmo, então nem me preocupei. Ah, foram 2 camadas.
I even thought of stamping over it, but I didn't. I also didn't top coat it because I'm going to take it off tonight anyway, so I didn't even bother. Oh, here are 2 coats.

Aqui está mais um que entrou para a listinha dos desapegos... hehehehhe
