Mont Bleu Review

Hoje tenho uma resenha diferente, bem bling-bling, do jeito que eu gosto. *.*
Segunda-feira recebi um pacotinho muito elegante vindo lá da República Tcheca e estava doida para vir mostrar a vocês. São os lindos produtos da marca Design Glassware by Mont Bleu, fabricante especializada em lixas de vidro decoradas e outros acessórios lindos de morrer.
Today I have a different review for you guys, really bling bling, just the way I like it. *.*
On Monday I got a very elegant package that came from Czech Republic and I was dying to show you. They are the gorgeous products from the brand Design Glassware by Mont Bleu, manufacturer of decorated glass nail files and other super pretty accessories.

A Mont Bleu é uma das marcas líder em fabricação de lixas de vidro temperado. As lixas são feitas de vidro Tcheco de alta qualidade e são decoradas com desenhos feitos à mão, metais preciosos, pedras semi-preciosas e cristais Swarovski. Eu recebi duas lixas, uma grande e uma mini, um espelho de bolsa e uma pinça, todos decorados com cristais Swarovski.
Mont Bleu is one of the world's leading suppliers of tempered glass nail files. The files are made of high quality Czech glass and are decorated with hand painted drawings, precious metals, semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals. I got two files, a big and a mini one, a pocket mirror and eyebrow tweezers, all decorated with Swarovski crystals.

O espelho é o ACSP-01.2, em formato oval, feito de plástico de qualidade e decorado à mão com os cristais em azul e branco. Ele tem dois lados, o normal e o ampliado, e mede 84x74mm, cabendo facilmente em qualquer bolsa. ;-) 
The pocket mirror is ACSP-01.2, made of quality plastic in an oval shape and decorated by hand with blue and white crystals. It's double sided, the normal and the amplifying side, and it measures 84x74mm (3.31x2.91 inches), and easily fits any women's purse. ;-)

As lixas que recebi foram a ORC-M2 e uma das minis que não consegui achar o código no site deles, pois acho que ela saiu de linha. As lixas vêm em um estojinho de veludo e tem garantia vitalícia, ou seja, duram a vida toda (se você não quebrar como fiz com a minha velha... kkkk). As lixas são higiências e tem certificação de segurança da saúde. Eu já tinha lixado as unhas fim de semana passado, por isso ainda não as testei, mas já li ótimas resenhas sobre elas e tenho certeza que são maravilhosas!
The files I got are ORC-M2 and one of the minis I couldn't find the code on their website, because I think it's not available anymore. The files come in a velvet pouch and have a lifetime guarantee on the filling surface, which means, they last forever (unless you break them how I did with my old one... LOL). The files are hygienic and have a Health Safety certificate. I had already filed my nails last weekend, so I didn't test them yet, but I read great review about them and I'm sure they're awesome!
 

Por último essa pinça super fofa, a CT-20.4, feita de metal cromado para garantir longa durabilidade. Ela é decorada à mão com cristais Swarovski. Ela tem a ponta inclinada para melhor definir as sobrancelhas. O casamento perfeito com o espelho! :-D
At last this super cute eyebrow tweezers, CT-20.4, made of chrome metal to provide long life efficiency. It's decorated by hand with Swarovski crystals. It has slant tips to accurately shape the eyebrows. The perfect match with that mirror! :-D
 

Estou preparando um post sobre a minha rotina de cuidados e usarei uma das lixas para testar. Vocês podem achar mais lixas de vidro decoradas aqui. Eles também têm pincéis para maquiagem, porta-bolsa, chaveiro, brincos, anéis, pulseiras, enfim, uma infinidade de bling para vocês se jogarem! Hehehehehehe
I'm preparing a post about my nail care routine and will use the files to test them. You can find more decorated glass files here. They also have makeup brushes, bag hangers, keyrings, earrings, rings, bracelets, well, a lot of bling for you! Hehehehehe

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo cinza! =/

Olha que eu ainda não tinha testado a teoria da maldição do holo, porque o sol por essas bandas aqui é turista, por isso quase não uso holo. Mas dessa vez tive a oportunidade e confirmo a teoria... rsrsrsrsrsr... tristezaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I haven't tested the "curse of the holo" theory yet, because the sun is a tourist on this part of the globe, so I almost never wear holos. But this time I had the chance and I confirm the theory... rsrsrsrsrs... so saaaaaaaad! 

 

 

O escolhido para ser desencalhado esse mês foi o Déjà Vu da Jade, da primeira coleção de holográficos. Esse eu ganhei em uma das minhas troquinhas e estava encalhado há mais de um ano também! Coitadinho! :(

Queria muito os da segunda coleção, mas não consegui nenhum... mimimimi

The untried polish for this month is Déjà Vu by Jade, from the first collection of holographics. This I got in one of the swaps I made and was forgotten in the box for more than a year! Poor him! :(

I wanted the ones from the second collection as well, but didn't get any... mimimimi

 

Mais uma vez, fiquei impressionada com a facilidade da esmaltação. Foram duas camadas sobre aqua base (sempre uso aqua base com holo). Não arrasta, seca super rápido, é fácil de limpar e tem esse prisma maravilhoso. Não passei topcoat. Só elogio mesmo! Muito amor!

Once again, I'm impressed with its application. Two easy coats over aqua base (I always use aqua base when I wear holos). I doesn't drag, it dries quickly, it's easy to clean and it has this gorgeous prism. I didn't top coat it. I only have compliments! Really awesome! 

 

Infelizmente o sol não estava forte o suficiente para fazer explodir os olhos com a holografia digna dos Jade, mas consegui captar bem a beleza dele. Esmaltei no domingo e já troquei na segunda, por isso não posso falar da durabilidade dele. Mas confirmo a maldição - basta passar holo nas unhas para o tempo ficar ruim. Desde domingo fim de tarde que o tempo está cinza e chove esporadicamente... grgrgrgrgrgr

Unfortunately the sun was not strong enough to make the eyes explode with its holo gorgeousness, but I could get its beauty on pics. I applied it on Sunday and took it off on Monday, so I can't talk about durability. But I confirm the curse - whenever you decide to wear a holo polish, the weather turns bad. It's been since Sunday afternoon that the weather is grey and it rains randomly... grgrgrgrgrgr

Chegamos ao fim de mais um mês... Gésuis, como o tempo voa! Kkkkkk... E a mani de hoje é mais uma para o desafio do The Lacquer Legion.
O tema de julho é #LLfandom, interpretando alguém ou alguma coisa de que somos fãs. Pode ser super-herói, filme, programa de TV, enfim, qualquer coisa que faça despertar o fã dentro de nós.

We got to the end of another month... Gosh, how time flies! LOL... And today's mani is another one for The Lacquer Legion challenge.
July's prompt is #LLfandom, interpreting someone or something we are fan of. It can be a super-hero, a movie, a TV show, anything that awakes the fan inside us.

Eu voltei à minha infância para esse tema. Eu tinha 10 anos a primeira vez que assisti TV (de verdade, sem brincadeira, prestando atenção e tudo), e foi exatamente na época que a TV Cultura lançou o Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum (1994-1997). Virei fã incondicional, não perdia um episódio, me divertia e aprendia ao mesmo tempo. Talvez por isso minha mãe tenha nos autorizado à assistir.
I went back to my childhood for this prompt. I was 10 years old the first time I watched TV (for real, no kidding, paying attention and all), and that was exactly when one of the Brazilian TV channels released an educative TV series called Rá-Tim-Bum Castle (1994-1997). I became a big fan, wouldn't miss an episode, had fun and learned at the same time. Maybe that's why mom authorized us to watch.

Um dos quadros que eu mais gostava era o do ratinho. Eu sabia a musiquinha de cor. Por isso escolhi-o para representar o meu momento fã. Como esmalte de base usei esse azul fofíssimo, o Adora-Bleu da Bourjois. Foram duas camadas sobre base fosca. Já usei-o outras vezes, mas ainda não tinha tirado uma foto dele sozinho. 
One of the sketches I liked the most was the little mouse. I knew his song by heart. He sang how good it was to take a bath. That's why I picked him to represent my fandom. My base colour is Adora-Bleu by Bourjois. Two coats over matte base coat. I have already used it before, but didn't have a picture by itself.

Todo o resto eu fiz com tinta acrílica. Comecei com tinta branca para dar forma e colocar as cores em evidência, e depois fui preenchendo com as outras cores. Usei um pincel médio para desenhar o ratinho e um pincel para detalhes para contornar com preto. No mindinho escrevi Banho é Bom (o título da música do ratinho), também com tinha acrílica. 
I did all the rest with acrylic paint. Started with white paint to draw the shapes and make the colours pop, then filled everything with the other colours. I used a medium brush to draw the mouse and a detail brush for the black outlines. On the pinky I wrote Bathing is Good (the title of the mouse's song), also with acrylic paint.

Deixo aqui no final o vídeo do ratinho, para quem não conhece, e para quem quiser matar as saudades da infância.
I leave here the video of the mouse (even if it is in portuguese, it's funny). He describes the parts of the body he washes and ends by saying Bathing is Good.

Strawberry Creme - ILNP

Primeiro de tudo gostaria de agradecer pelo carinho e repercussão do postão dos acabamentos. Para quem não viu, clica aqui. Também deixei um banner fixo ali na lateral para ficar fácil de achar sempre que vocês quiserem consultá-lo.
Em seguida, gostaria de dizer que mudei o sistema de comentário para o Disqus. No começo achava super chato, mas acabou me ganhando (pois sou preguiçosa demais) porque a gente recebe notificações por e-mail quando o comentário é respondido.

Then, I'd like to say that I changed the comment moderation tool for Disqus. In the beginning I found very annoying, but then I gave in (I'm too lazy) because we get notifications via e-mail when the comments are answered.

Por último, gostaria de dizer que estou mudando o meu comportamento em relação aos links deixados nos comentários. Depois de uma longa conversa em um dos grupos gringos que participo no Facebook, cheguei à conclusão que é chato demais ter o trabalhão de passar horas fazendo as unhas e escrevendo o post para receber um: "Que lindo! Tem sorteio lá no blog >>>"... ou outros comentários de auto-propaganda. 
Da mesma forma que não aceitarei mais links aqui no blog, não deixarei o meu nos blogs que eu sigo, afinal, quem é frequente se conhece, e tenho todos os blogs que eu sigo na lista aqui do Blogger. Por isso, não chateiem-se caso o comentário de vocês for publicado sem o link. Obrigada por respeitar!
At last, I'd like to say I'm changing my behaviour regarding the links dropped in the comments (it's quite common among Brazilian bloggers). After a long conversation in one of the Facebook groups I'm in, I concluded that it's very annoying to spend hours doing the nails and making a nice blog post to get a comment like: "How pretty! I'm hosting a giveaway on my blog >>>"... or any other self-promoting comment.
The same way I won't accept links on the blog anymore, I also won't leave mine on the blogs I follow, after all, those who are always around know each other, and I have a blogroll here on Blogger. So, please don't get upset if your comments are published without the links. Thanks for respecting that!

Mas falando do que interessa. Esse divo aqui é o Strawberry Creme da ILNP, ele faz parte da coleção Valentine's Day e é o único que dá para ser usado sozinho, sem precisar de um cremoso de base. Eu não comprei a coleção inteira, mas vocês podem ver swatches (e fotos mais bonitas) no Chalkboard Nails.
But talking about what really matters. This gorgeous polish is Strawberry Creme by ILNP. It's part of the Valentine's Day collection and it's the only one that can be layered by itself, without requiring a base colour. I didn't buy the whole collection, but you can see swatches (and prettier pictures) on Chalkboard Nails.

Quando passei a primeira camada, fiquei muito na dúvida. Achei que não fosse cobrir por nada nesse mundo, mas quebrei a cara. O pincel vem super carregado de glitters e nem precisei ficar pescando nada. Na segunda camada ele fechou perfeitamente.
I wasn't convinced when I applied the first coat. I thought it would have a good coverage at all, but I was wrong. The brush comes so full of glitters I didn't even need to "fish". It was fully opaque on the second coat.

Gente, as minhas fotos não ficaram boas não, porque ele brilha demais. Tem glitters redondos rosa, fúcsia e vermelho e glitters hexagonais menores em uma base branca leitosa. Muito amooooooor! Não dei nada por ele na primeira camada, mas não parava de olhar para as unhas... Hahahaha
Guys, my pictures don't do it justice, because it sparkles a lot. It has a mix of pink, fuchsia and red round glitters as well as small hex glitters in a creamy white base. Super cute! I didn't like it on the first coat, but couldn't stop staring at my nails afterwards... Hahahaha

Há meses preparo esse post para vocês. Fiz muitas pesquisas (como sempre) e encontrei vários blogs que tem seus dicionários esmaltísticos e algumas informações sobre os acabamentos, mas nenhum deles completo, até porque é difícil conhecer todos os acabamentos que existem, ainda mais quando os lançamentos não param né?!
It's been months that I prepare this post. I did a lot of search (as usual) and found many blogs which have their own nail polish dictionary and some information about the finishes, but none really complete. Anyway, it's difficult to know all existent nail polish finishes when the brands won't stopping coming up with new ones, right?!
