Já começaram a contagem regressiva para o Natal? Eu já! Depois de 7 anos, finalmente vou passar as festas com a minha família. :-D

Have you started the countdown for Christmas yet? I have. After 7 years, I'll finally spend the holidays with my family. :-D

Para comemorar essa alegria toda, hoje trago a vocês uma mix 'n match que fiz especialmente para o postão Esmaltadas de Leitoras do mês passado, lá pro blog da Alice.

To celebrate all this happiness, today I bring you a mix 'n match I did for last month's big Esmaltadas de Leitoras post, for Alice's blog.

Começo mostrando a vocês esse verdinho muito amor que comprei em Portugal em outubro. É o 389 Mint Milk. Apesar de ser tom pastel, ele é super fácil de esmaltar e já cobre bem na primeira camada.

I start by showing you this cute green I bought in Portugal in October.

It's 389 Mint Milk. It's very easy to apply, even though it's a pastel polish. It covers well already on the first coat.

No indicador passei duas camadas do Acquamarina Strass (Collistar) - achei que ele fosse glitter, mas é sand - que mostrarei sozinho para vocês depois. No polegar e no anelar uma camada do branco para carimbo da Blant e studs verdinhos.

On the index I applied two coats of Acquamarina Strass (Collistar) - I thought it was glitter, but it's actually textured - which I'll show you by itself later on. On the thumb and ring finger only one coat of white stamping polish and green studs.

No médio e mindinho carimbei com uma plaquinha da Born Pretty que também mostrarei depois. Essas foram as minhas primeiras fotos usando o mini estudio (exceto a foto do Kiko peladinho). Sei que ainda tenho muito para melhorar, mas o que vocês acham?
On the middle finger and pinky I stamped with an image plate by Born Pretty which I'll also show you later. These were also my first pictures using the light box (except the picture of the Kiko "naked"). I know there's always room for improvement, but what do you guys think?

[Pink October] #6: Mix & Match

Aqui estou com a última (finalmente) mani do Outubro Rosa. Adoro a cor rosa e esse mês consegui fazer 6 manis diferentes, mas confesso que deu pra bolinha né? 
Here I am with the last (finally) mani of Pink for October. I love pink and this month i was able to make 6 different manis, but I have to admit I'm kind of sick of it now! 

Aproveitei para desencalhar mais um 'esmaltchenho' fofo, o Candy da coleção Hello Kitty da Hits Specialittà. Foram duas camadas fáceis de aplicar. Achei a secagem bem boa e tem um brilho natural muito bonito.
I took another cute untried polish out of the box, Candy from the Hello Kitty collection by Hits Specialittà. Here I applied two easy coats. I think drying time is quite ok and it has a pretty natural shine.

Depois retirei-o do indicador e do médio para fazer a M&M. No indicador passei apenas uma camada do esmalte branco para carimbo da Blant - porque estava com preguiça, não queria gastar o restinho do meu Francesinha e como comprei um branco para carimbo novo, resolvi usá-lo como base para artes - e fiz poás com o Candy usando o boleador grande.
Then I took it off of the index and middle finger to make the mix 'n match. On the index I applied only one coat of a white stamping polish by Blant - because I was lazy, didn't want to spend the rest of my Francesinha and since I bought a new white stamping polish, I decided to use this one as base for arts - and made the polka dots using Candy and a big dotting tool.

No médio foram duas camadas do glitter forte Hard Rock também da Hits e desenhei o laço com o Candy. No anelar carimbei essa estampa super delicada da plaquinha Pro Collection XL 14 da MoYou London usando meu novo esmalte branco para carimbo da Mundo de Uñas.
On the middle finger I applied two coats of a rough glitter called Hard Rock also by Hits and freehanded the ribbon using Candy. On the ring finger I stamped this cute delicate pattern from Pro Collection XL 14 by MoYou London using my new white stamping polish by Mundo de Uñas.

Adorei essa mani. Acho que fechei a campanha super bem, vocês não acham?

31DC2014 Day 7: B&W Nails

Bonjour bonjour!

Sem mais delongas, passemos à mani de hoje. Se tem uma combinação que eu adoro (e o love detesta) é preto e branco. Acho tão curinga, tão elegante... lógico, dependendo do que será inventado com as cores né? Heheheheheh
Let's cut to the chase and get to today's mani. If there's a combo that I love (and hubby hates) is black and white. I think it's a joker, so elegant... of course, depending on what we create with the colours, right? Hehehehehehe

Para a mani de hoje escolhi a simplicidade das listras e acho que não errei não. No polegar, médio e mindinho foram duas camadas do Francesinha da Ellen Gold (Paula, estou usando viu?!) e no indicador e no anelar duas do Black Is Black da Essence.
For today's mani I chose the simplicity of stripes and I think it turned out great. On the thumb, middle finger and pinky I applied two coats of Francesinha by Ellen Gold and on the index and ring finger two of Black Is Black by Essence.

Passei top coat por cima do branco para proteger e poder aplicar as fitinhas horizontais. Uma camada generosa do Black Is Black por cima e pronto.
I top coated the white to protect it and be able to apply the straight vinyls. One generous coat of Black Is Black on top and that was it. 

Nas unhas pretas resolvi colocar apenas um stud e pintá-lo de branco. Dessa vez não inverti as cores na mão direita. Fiz exatamente igual.
On the black nails I decided to put a stud and paint it white. This time I didn't switch the order of the colours on the right hand. I did exactly the same. 

Dá pra ver que esses são os esmaltes preto e branco que mais uso né? O rótulo já está até gasto... kkkkkk
Aliás, branco é o que mais uso. Já acabei com o Blanc da Essie, o Alpine Snow da OPI está dando seus últimos suspiros e o Francesinha já está na metade. :-P
You can see these are the black and white polishes I use the most, right? The label is almost completely faded... LOL
Actually, white is the colour I use the most. I've already finished a bottle of Blanc by Essie, Alpine Snow by OPI is taking its last breaths and Francesinha is half way down. :-P

Já cansaram de mim? Espero que não, pois estou apenas começando... Hehehheeheheh
Para a mani de hoje eu recriei essa mani aqui da minha convidada V.I.P.A. do sábado passado, mas nem de longe a minha mani ficou tão delicada quanto à dela.
Are you tired of me already? I hope not, because I'm only in the beginning... LOL
For today's mani I recreated this mani here by my V.I.P.A. guest from last Saturday, but mine is not as delicate as hers.

Comecei com a base fosca e depois de bem sequinha coloquei aqueles adesivos redondinhos para fazer a meia-lua e passei o Swagger da piCture pOlish que já apareceu aqui.
I started with a matte base coat and when I was completely dry I applied those round stickers to create a half moon and painted over with Swagger by piCture pOlish that was already here on the blog. 

Depois desenhei essas gotinhas no espaço da meia lua com esmalte branco e fiz as bolinhas com boleador médio. Acho que se eu tivesse desenhado as gotinhas/pétalas com tinta acrílica teria ficado mais delicado.
The I drew these kind of drops on the half moon space using white polish and made the dots with a medium dotting tool. I think it would've turned more delicate if I have used acrylic paint to draw the drops/petals.

Mas só pensei nisso depois que já tinha começado com o esmalte e como fiz as unhas ontem à noite, já não tinha mais tempo para consertar... rsrsrsrsrs
But I only thought of that after I had already started with the polish and since I did my nails yesterday evening, I didn't have time to fix it anymore... LOL 

No final das contas, gostei do resultado, apesar de não ter ficado tão delicado quanto eu queria. E vocês, o que acharam?
At the end, I like the result, even if it's not as delicate as I wanted it to be. What about you? What do you think?

Colourful Stars by Born Pretty

Hoje trago a vocês a última resenha (dessa leva) da Born Pretty e foi uma mani que adorei fazer.
Essas foram as minhas segundas fotos com a câmera nova e acho que não ficaram tão boas quanto as primeiras. Talvez por causa do fundo branco. Preciso arrumar um fundo cinza e construir uma light box urgente!
Today I bring you the last review (for this time) of Born Pretty products and it was a mani I really enjoyed doing.
These are my second pictures with the new camera and I think they are not as good as the first ones. Maybe because of the white background. I really need to get a grey background and build a light box asap!

Como cor de base escolhi o White da Mavala, um branquinho muito delícia que encontrei outro dia. Foram duas camadas sobre base fosca. Só acho esses vidrinhos pequenos muito chatos de segurar para fotografar. A pose sempre fica estranha... rsrsrsrsrs
As base colour I chose White by Mavala, a very good white I found the other day. Two coats over a matte base coat. I just think these small bottles so annoying to hold for the pictures. The hand pose is always awkward...

Tentei pela primeira vez um gradiente misturado de forma aleatória usando: Lavendairy, Once In A Blue Mousse, Peaches <3 Cream, Parfait Day e Pastelchio da Lime Crime. Estava doida para tentar esse tipo de gradiente e finalmente consegui.
I tried, for the first time, a random gradient using: Lavendairy, Once In A Blue Mousse, Peaches <3 Cream, Parfait Day and Pastelchio by Lime Crime. I was dying to try that kind of gradient and I finally made it.

Ainda acho que poderia ter ficado melhor, mas para primeira vez até que ficou bem legal. Passei o extra-brilho com óleo de argan da Ideal para suavizar o gradiente e fui colando as estrelinhas logo em seguida. Depois passei outra camada top coat e voilà. Amei essas estrelinhas coloridas. 
I still think it could've turned out better, but for a first attempt, I think it's quite nice. I topped it with this Brazilian top coat by Ideal to make the gradient smoother and placed the stars while still wet. Then I top coated again and voilà. I love those colourful stars.

Navy Love for Nailstorming

Tudo bem com vocês? Por aqui tudo ótimo.
Hoje trago a vocês mais um estilo de mani que eu amo: Navy Nails. A última vez que fiz uma mani náutica foi para o 'Todas Usam' do Troca-Troca de Esmaltes há quase 1 ano e achei que já estava na hora de fazer outra né? Heheheheheh
Aproveitei essa mani para participar pela primeira vez do Nailstorming. É um desafio  organizado pela francesa Emma, para conectar as amantes de nail art. Basta criar uma mani no tema escolhido e postar nos domingos usando a hashtag #nailstorming.

Today I bring you another kind of mani I love: Navy Nails. Last time I made navy nails was for the post 'We All Use It' from Troca-Troca de Esmaltes (a Brazilian NPA group on Facebook) almost a year ago and I thought it was time to make another one, right? Hehehehehe
I also took the opportunity to participate for the first time of the Nailstorming. It's a challenge organized by the French artist Emma, to connect us all NPAs. You just have to create a mani with the prompt chosen and share it on Sundays using the hashtag #nailstorming.

Para começar esmaltei o indicador, o médio e o mindinho com duas camadas do Alpine Snow (OPI) sobre base fosca (como sempre). Passei top coat para acelerar a secagem e passei o Amazing California Love (OPI) por cima. 
I started applying two coats Alpine Snow (OPI) over a matte base coat on the index, middle finger and pinky. I top coated them to speed up drying time and applied Amazing California Love (OPI) on top. 

Dessa vez usei as fitinhas da cartela #005 que comprei na Pshiiit Boutique. Essas fitinhas são muito melhores do que as stripping tape porque elas têm mais cola e fixam melhor. Mas a esmaltação tem que estar bem seca para não arrancar o esmalte de base na hora de tirar a fitinha. 
This time I used the stickers from the sheet #005 I bought at the Pshiiit Boutique. These stickers are much better than the stripping tapes because they have more glue and they stick better. But the base coat has to be completely dry otherwise it gets pulled off when removing the stickers.

No anelar foram duas camadas do Glistening Snow (China Glaze), meu glitter forte preferido. No polegar esmaltei com o Pacific Blue (Sally Hansen) - que mostrarei a vocês na semana que vem - e fiz poás com o branco usando um boleador grande. No mindinho fiz poás pequenos com o Pacific Blue mesmo.
On the ring finger I applied two coats of Glistening Snow (China Glaze), my favourite accent glitter. On the thumb I used Pacific Blue (Sally Hansen) - that I'll show you next week - and made polka dots using white and a big dotting tool. On the pinky I made smaller dots using Pacific Blue.

Por último, fiz a âncora com o Pacific Blue usando um pincel médio. Gente, esse PB é uma coisa de louco. Vocês verão na semana que vem! Simplesmente amei essa mani e até recebi elogios de um colega de trabalho. Uhuuuuuul!
At last, I freehanded the anchor using Pacific Blue and a medium brush. Guys, PB is really awesome. You'll see next week! I simply love this mani and even got a compliment from a (male) colleague at work. Uhuuuuuul

Clowning Around - Polish Me Silly

Olha eu aqui de novo. Falei que só ia postar na semana que vem, mas não agüentei.
E que há algumas semanas eu tive o prazer de compartilhar a página da Polish Me Silly lá no meu face, e disse a ela (como quem não quer nada... hihihi) que se ela precisasse de uma swatcher, eu teria o maior prazer em testar esses indies maravilhosos que elas fazem.
Here I am again. I said I was going to post next week, but I couldn't stay away.
It's because a few weeks ago I had the pleasure to share Polish Me Silly's page on my facebook page, and I told here that if she needed a swatcher, I would be glad to swatch these wonderful indies they make.

Mas sério, eu amo a Holanda. O país é lindo, organizado e limpo (dependo da cidade, lógico né?). O povo é carismático, alto-astral, sarcástico e gentil ao mesmo tempo. Poderia passar horas rasgando seda aqui, mas enfim...
As you may know by now, hubby is Dutch, so I cheer for The Netherlands as well, as long as they don't face Brazil, of course! Hehehehehehe
But seriously, I love The Netherlands. The country is beautiful, organized and clean (depending on the city, of course). People are sympathetic, high spirits, sarcastic and kind at the same time. I could spend hours complimenting them, so...

Tudo bem com vocês? Ontem foi a reabertura do showroom da BMW onde eu trabalhei antes de vi pra Comissão. Eles estavam em reformas e é logico que eu não podia perder a reabertura né? Aproveitando o ensejo, me inspirei em um dos Art Cars da BMW para a mani de hoje do desafio. Esse design foi criado pelo artista Roy Lichtenstein no BMW 320i Turbo de 1977.
How are you doing? Yesterday was the official reopening of BMW's showroom, where I worked before coming to the Commission. They were remodelling everything and of course I couldn't miss it right? Taking this opportunity, I got inspired by one of the BMW Art Cars. This design was created by Roy Lichtenstein on the BMW 320i Turbo from 1977.

A mani de hoje do desafio é uma Mix 'n' Match cheia de brilho, beirando o exagero, mas que amei demais e tive que reproduzir. O tema é inspirado por um modelo (estampa) e escolhi um que adoro: oncinhas.

Today's mani from the challenge is a Mix 'n' Match full of glitter, almost exaggerated, but I love it a lot and had to recreate it. The theme is inspired by a pattern and I chose one I love: leopard.

A mani de hoje é inspirada por uma música e eu adorei fazê-la. Simples, fácil e divertida. Já tinha visto várias manis desse tipo e resolvi fazer também. Inspirei-me na música de um grupo que amo de paixão, e é a música (desse grupo) preferida do meu amor, School do Supertramp.

Today's mani is inspired by a song and I enjoyed doing it. Simple, easy and fun. I've seen many of this manicure around and decided to give it a try. I was inspired by one song from a group I love to death, and it's my hubby's favourite song (from this group), School by Supertramp.

Born Pretty Review

Tudo bem com vocês? Eu fiquei dodói. Peguei a gripe do maridão na sexta-feira e ainda não melhorei... rsrsrssrrsrs... Mas como sou daquelas que só falta o trabalho se for caso de vida ou morte, aqui estou atendendo ao telefone completamente fanha.

How are you doing? I got sick. I got the cold from my hubby on Friday and I'm still annoyed by it... rsrsrsrsrsrs… but since I'm one of those who only stays home if it's a life or death situation, here I am answering the phone with a totally blocked nose.

A mani de hoje é a técnica de nail art favorita, e a minha são os poás, com certeza! Super hiper fácil de fazer e dá para inventar mil.

Today’s mani is my favorite nail art technique, and mine are dots, for sure! Very easy to make and we can create a thousand of things.

Por aqui tudo na mesma, ainda resolvendo as coisas, mas enfim... positividade, paz e amor é o que nos faz caminhar com segurança e a certeza de que tudo vai dar muito certo! ;-)

Hoje trago à vocês mais uma técnica nova para mim, super hiper fácil de fazer e que dá um efeito muito legal, ao menos na minha opinião. A técnica é watercolour, e apesar do nome ser parecido com water marble (unhas marmorizadas), são completamente diferentes.

Por aqui tudo frio... o horário de verão começou essa noite mas esqueceram de avisar à Bélgica que a primavera já chegou e que ela pode deixar as flores despontarem e o sol vir nos iluminar... Rsrsrsrsrs

Falta colorido no tempo, mas nas minhas unhas, nunca faltará! Eu queria ter feito uma mani de Páscoa como a maioria das blogueiras fez, mas acabei não tendo tempo durante a semana e como hoje é dia de desafio... vai ter que ficar para o ano que vem mesmo! =/
