Pukkelpop Mani

Então, hoje eu resolvi mostrar a vocês a mani que usei para ir ao festival sábado passado. Eu queria ter feito um watermarble, mas como tive que fazer as unhas na sexta à noite, não tive tempo nem paciência para tentar.

So, today I decided to show you the mani I used for the festival last Saturday. I wanted to do a watermarble, but since I had to do my nails on Friday evening, I didn't have enough time nor patience to try.

Aí, nada melhor do que néon para arrasar né? Achei esse vidrinho exótico na lojinha da Claire's outro dia e resolvi trazer para testar. O nome dele é Ibiza - finalmente a marca está colocando nomes nos esmaltes, uhuuuuul - e na verdade ele é rosa, mas a Canon não quis captar a cor dele de jeito nenhum e o maridão não deixa eu mexer nas configurações, ainda. Agora eu lembro porque quase não tenho esmalte néon. Saquinhoooooooooooooo!
Then, nothing better than a neon right? I found this exotic bottle at Claire's store the other day and decided to bring it home and give it a try. It's called Ibiza - they're finally naming their polishes, uhuuuuul - and in fact it's pink, but the Canon didn't want to capture its colour properly and hubby doesn't allow me to touch the settings, yet. Now I remember why I don't have many neons. Pain in da buttttttttt!

No dedão, indicador e mindinho foram três camadas dele puro. A cobertura é boa, mas a cor fica mais fechada. No médio e no anelar passei apenas uma camada do Francesinha (Ellen Gold) para servir de base. No anelar passei uma camada do Ibiza e no médio passei duas, só para ver a diferença - que é gritante.
On the thumb, index and pinky I applied three coats without undies. Coverage is good, but the colour gets darker. On the middle and ring finger I applied only one coat of white polish as a base. On the ring finger I left it with one coat of Ibiza and on the middle finger I applied tow, just to see the difference - which is huge.

Depois tirei tudo e esmaltei de novo sobre uma camada do branquinho querido. Para as gêmeas fiz a carimbada invertida usando as mesmas flores da plaquinha PUEEN SE04B que usei nessa mani aqui, mas queria uma coisa bem diferente mesmo, com bastante contraste. Por isso preenchi-as usando o Eletric Yellow (Maybelline), o Pacific Blue (Sally Hansen) e o Ibiza mesmo. Dessa vez coloquei os blings pretos nas outras unhas.
Then I took it all off and painted everything again over one coat of Francesinha by Ellen Gold, one of the best white polishes I've ever tried. For the accent nails I made a stamping decal using the same flowers from PUEEN SE04B I used for this mani here, but I wanted something different, with a lot of contrast. So I filled them using Eletric Yellow (Maybelline), Pacific Blue (Sally Hansen) and Ibiza itself. This time I put black blings on the other nails.

Deixo aqui as poucas fotos que tirei do festival - o marido eu não mostro porque o blog é público e ele não gosta que as imagens dele sejam expostas assim, mas ele se divertiu tanto quanto eu - e uma música do Calvin Harris, para quem não conhece o estilo dele é EDM (Eletronic Dance Music). Foi o show de fechamento (para nós) e foi MARAVILHOSOOOOOOOO!
I leave here the few pictures I took from the festival - I don't show you hubby because the blog is public and he doesn't like having his pictures exposed like that, but he had a blast too - and a song from Calvin Harris, for those who don't know him. It was the last concert (for us) and it was AWESOMEEEEEEE!

Exotic Flowers by PUEEN

Venho pra essas bandas de cá ver se consigo, em uma vibe cósmica (viagem na batatinha mode on... kkkk), enviar um pouco de cor para esse país cinza do car****... porque... tá fodis viu?! Decididamente, São Pedro não gosta da Bélgica não... nem no verão ele não solta o sol... grgrgrgrgr
Is everything flourishing over there? It is over here.
I come this way, in a cosmic vibe (tripping sober mode on... LOL), to send a bit of colour to this f****** grey country... because... it's kinda depressing you know?! Honestly, I think God doesn't like Belgium... not even on summertime for a bit of sunshine... grgrgrgrgr

Falando da mani de hoje, essa é mais uma da série: amei e não quero tirar nunca mais! Sem brincadeira, modéstia à parte mesmo, achei que ficou muito linda.
O divo é o Live, Love, Carnaval da OPI, que ainda não consegui fotografar sozinho. Ele é o típico acabamento glossy, super fácil de esmaltar, não escorre, não macha e seca super rápido (OPI eu te amo!). 
Talking about today's mani, this is another one of those: I love it and don't want to take it off! Seriously, if I may say it myself, I think it's very pretty.
The polish is Live, Love, Carnaval by OPI, which I still couldn't photograph by itself. It's the typical glossy finish, very easy to apply, it doesn't run to the cuticles, it doesn't stain and it dries super quick (OPI I love you!).

O tom dele é um pouco mais aberto do que o meu iPhone quis captar, e como coral pertence à família do vermelho, a câmera não quis colaborar. Nas gêmeas passei duas camadas do meu gliter xodózinho, o Glistening Snow da China Glaze, para fazer uma base diferente para os decalques.
It's shade is a little brighter than my iPhone wanted to capture, and since coral is a shade of red, the camera didn't want to help. On the two accent nails I apply my favourite glitter, Glistening Snow by China Glaze, to have a different base for the decals.
 

Usando a plaquinha PUEEN SE04B, fiz os decalques com esmalte preto da Konad e pintei as flores com o Blue No Blues da Bourjois, 331 Violet da Kiko e o Live, Love, Carnaval. Para dar um charme nas outras unhas fiz duas bolinhas com o Glistening Snow mesmo, mas acho que talvez tivesse ficado mais legal se eu tivesse colocado uns blings pretos.
I made the stamping decals using PUEEN SE04B and Konad black and filled the flowers with Blue No Blues by Bourjois, 331 Violet by Kiko and Live, Love, Carnaval itself. I made two dots on each of the other nails using Glistening Snow, but I think it would've been prettier if I had put black blings.

Se vocês não viram, o post da resenha é esse aqui, e separei as manis em três dias para poder mostrar em detalhes. Eu amei todas, mas confesso que essa daqui é a que eu mais gostei, por isso deixei para o final.

If you didn't see it, the review is this way, and I split the manis in three days so I could show details. I love them all, but I have to admit this is the one I like the most, that's why I saved it for the end.

31DC2013 Day 25: Inspired by Fashion

Tudo bem com vocês? Estou finalmente chegando no final do desafio, só mais 6 manis e pronto! A mani de hoje é inspirada pela moda. Eu particularmente não sou das maiores seguidoras de moda não. Apesar de atualmente ser menos brega do que era quando adolescente, ainda sofro com falta de inspiração. Queria tanto ter o dom da minha irmã que qualquer coisa que olha já combina com outra e mais outra e tudo fica lindo! kkkkkkkkkk
How are you doing? I'm finally getting to the end of the challenge, just another 6 mani's to go! Today's mani is inspired by fashion. I'm actually not a big follower of fashion. Although I have a little more sense of style than when I was a teenager, I still suffer with the lack of inspiration. I wish I was like my sister that looks at one thing and matches it with another one and another one and everything looks pretty! LMAO

A mani de hoje é inspirada por um livro que li há tanto tempo que para ser sincera tenho que ler de novo para lembrar de todos os detalhes, mas Fernão Capelo Gaivota marcou o início da minha adolescência.  
How are you doing? Did you like the mani Mare made? I hope so.
Today's mani is inspired by a book I read a long time ago and to be honest I'd have to read it again to remember all the details, but Jonathan Livingston Seagull made a lasting impression in the beginning of my teenage years.
