[12 Meses 12 Esmaltes] Novembro :: Summerland Beach - American Apparel

Good morning sweeties!

Mais um mês chegando ao fim e eu ainda continuo precisando de umas horinhas extras nos meus dias para poder me redimir com vocês. =/
Another month ending and I still need a couple of hours more on my days in order to redeem myself and pay you some visits. =/

Ao menos tenho conseguido programar os posts e publicar as manis nas redes sociais. Mas acho que só vou conseguir me redimir com vocês depois que voltar das férias em janeiro. Pois o novo trabalho não me deixa respirar (ainda bem!).
At least, I'm being able to schedule the posts and share the manis on the social medias. But I think I'll only be able to redeem myself with you when I come back from vacation, in January. Because the new job doesn't allow me to breath (thanks God!).

O desencalhadinho desse mês é o Summerland Beach da American Apparel. Comprei-o em março de 2012 e só agora que fui usar, acreditam? Ele faz parte da coleção dos translúcidos, mas cobre relativamente bem com apenas duas camadas.
This month's unused is Summerland Beach by American Apparel. I bought it on March 2012 and it was only now that I used it, can you believe? It's part of the sheers collection, but it covers relatively well in two coats.

Completei com blings, só para variar né? (sarcasmo)... Hahahahahaha
Mas sério, gostei bastante dessa mani. Achei que os blings deram um ar tão delicado à esse salmãozinho fofo. Vocês não acham?
I added some blings, just for a change right? (sarcasm here)... Hahahaha
But seriously, I love this mani. I think the blings made it look so delicate. Don't you think?

[12 Meses 12 Esmaltes] Outubro :: Psico - Risqué

Tudo bem com vocês?
Finalmente o mês acabou! Confesso que já não agüentava mais fazer manis rosas e de Halloween.... hahahahahahaha... Agora é partir para as manis azuis e em seguida vem o Natal! Uhuuuuulllll!
How are you doing?
The month is finally over! I have to admit I couldn't stand making pink and Halloween manis anymore... hahahahahaha... Now it's up to the blue manis and Christmas is just around the corner! Uhuuuuuuullll! 

O desencalhado do mês é o Psico da Risqué, coleção Isabeli Fontana. No rótulo diz que ele é metálico, mas eu acho que é um crelly com shimmer azul. Super hiper aguado, mas cobre na segunda camada. Lembro que antes de entrar no vício eu amava os esmaltes da marca. Confesso que hoje não tenho a mínima paciência. Ainda bem que faço esmaltação americana... já imaginaram a inundação? Kkkkkkkkkkk
This month's untried polish is Psico by the Brazilian brand Risqué, from the Isabeli Fontana collection. On the label it says it's a metallic polish, but I think is a crelly with blue shimmer. Very watery formula, but it gets opaque on the second coat. I remember I used to love this brand before I became a NPA. Now, I have to say I just don't have the patience for watery formulas anymore. 

 
Para fazer uma graça nele e fechar o mês com a última esmaltação de Halloween, carimbei as teias de aranha da placona DRK-A usando o esmalte prata para carimbo da La Femme.
Next, for a last Halloween look, I stamped it with a spider web from the big image plate DRK-A using a silver stamping polish by another Brazilian brand called La Femme. 

Finalizei diretamente com o Matte Top Coat da OPI achando que fosse dar o mesmo efeito apagado que tive nessa mani aqui, mas ele não reagiu da mesma forma. Mesmo assim, gostei bastante do resultado.
Then I finished it directly with the Matte Top Coat by OPI thinking I would achieve the same faded effect I had on this mani here, but it didn't react the same way. Anyway, I still like the result.

Hoje tem post duplo também porque não podia deixar de desencalhar o esmaltinho do mês né?

Today I also have a double post because I couldn't leave this one behind right?

Apesar de que nem posso reclamar não, porque esse mês desencalhei um monte graças ao desafio 31 unhas.

Although I can't complain because this month I took a lot of polishes out of the untried box thanks to the 31 day challenge.

O divo de setembro é o DS Opulence da linha Designers da OPI. Ele é um scattered holo bem delicado.

Semptember's gorgeous is DS Opulence from the Designers series by OPI. It's a very delicate scattered holo. 

Adorei esse tom meio vermelho outono com fundo marrom que ele tem. Também achei o efeito scattered holo mais discreto do que nos outros da linha. Amei demais!

I love this shade, a kind of autumn red with brown undertones. I also think its scattered holo is more discrete than on the others from the same collection. I love it!

Gente, que bruxaria foi essa? O mês já acabou e eu nem vi... pelamordedeus... não pode ser assim não... tá rápido demais, vocês não acham?

Guys, what sorcery was that? The month is almost finished and I didn't see it... for crying out loud... this can't be right... it's going too quick, don't you think?

Falando do que interessa, o lindo de hoje eu usei mês passado porque já sabia que não ia ter verão mesmo, por isso aproveitei o pouquinho de sol que surgiu e desecalhei-o. Esse é o 401 Peacock Green da Kiko. Ele é um holográfico sutil. Diria até que é uma mistura de holo linear com scattered holo. Ele forma prisma, mas não é aquela coisa de louco dos CC e dos Jade.
Talking about what brings us here, I wore today's beauty last month because I knew we wouldn't have summer around here, so I took advantage of the little bit of sunshine and got it out of the unused box. This is 401 Peacock Green by Kiko. It's a subtle holographic. I'd even say it's a mix of linear and scattered holo. It forms a prism, but it's not as strong as the CC or the Jade polishes.

O sol não estava super hiper forte, mas deu para mostrar bem o efeito. Só achei ele bem chatinho de esmaltar, mesmo com aqua base. A segunda camada arrastou a primeira e precisei de três camadas para fechar bem a cor. A vantagem é que ele seca rápido.

The sun wasn't extremely strong, but I could capture its effect. I just found it quite annoying to apply, even with aqua base. The second coat dragged the first one and I needed three coats for full opacity. The good side of it is that it dries quickly.

Não quis passar top coat porque como já achei o bichin fraquin demais, fiquei com medo que o top coat escondesse a holografia dele. Pronto, está aqui mais um que irá para a lista dos desapegos. Ele é lindo, mas já não tem muito sol por aqui e ainda por cima o filhote é chato... rodou! kkkkkkk
I didn't want to top coat it because I already found it meeh and I was afraid the top coat would make the holo effect less evident. So, here's another one to go to the de-stash list. It's very pretty, but we don't have enough sunshine here and it's annoying to apply... gone! LOL

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo cinza! =/

Olha que eu ainda não tinha testado a teoria da maldição do holo, porque o sol por essas bandas aqui é turista, por isso quase não uso holo. Mas dessa vez tive a oportunidade e confirmo a teoria... rsrsrsrsrsr... tristezaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I haven't tested the "curse of the holo" theory yet, because the sun is a tourist on this part of the globe, so I almost never wear holos. But this time I had the chance and I confirm the theory... rsrsrsrsrs... so saaaaaaaad! 

 

 

O escolhido para ser desencalhado esse mês foi o Déjà Vu da Jade, da primeira coleção de holográficos. Esse eu ganhei em uma das minhas troquinhas e estava encalhado há mais de um ano também! Coitadinho! :(

Queria muito os da segunda coleção, mas não consegui nenhum... mimimimi

The untried polish for this month is Déjà Vu by Jade, from the first collection of holographics. This I got in one of the swaps I made and was forgotten in the box for more than a year! Poor him! :(

I wanted the ones from the second collection as well, but didn't get any... mimimimi

 

Mais uma vez, fiquei impressionada com a facilidade da esmaltação. Foram duas camadas sobre aqua base (sempre uso aqua base com holo). Não arrasta, seca super rápido, é fácil de limpar e tem esse prisma maravilhoso. Não passei topcoat. Só elogio mesmo! Muito amor!

Once again, I'm impressed with its application. Two easy coats over aqua base (I always use aqua base when I wear holos). I doesn't drag, it dries quickly, it's easy to clean and it has this gorgeous prism. I didn't top coat it. I only have compliments! Really awesome! 

 

Infelizmente o sol não estava forte o suficiente para fazer explodir os olhos com a holografia digna dos Jade, mas consegui captar bem a beleza dele. Esmaltei no domingo e já troquei na segunda, por isso não posso falar da durabilidade dele. Mas confirmo a maldição - basta passar holo nas unhas para o tempo ficar ruim. Desde domingo fim de tarde que o tempo está cinza e chove esporadicamente... grgrgrgrgrgr

Unfortunately the sun was not strong enough to make the eyes explode with its holo gorgeousness, but I could get its beauty on pics. I applied it on Sunday and took it off on Monday, so I can't talk about durability. But I confirm the curse - whenever you decide to wear a holo polish, the weather turns bad. It's been since Sunday afternoon that the weather is grey and it rains randomly... grgrgrgrgrgr

Tudo bem por aí? Por aqui tudo ótimo. Hoje é aniversário do meu cunhado, o que significa que esse fim de semana será na Holanda... uhuuuuul! Como eu adoro viajar! \o/
Já estava quase esquecendo de desencalhar o bonito desse mês, e nada mais justo do que usar um laranja no mês do aniversário de dois holandeses - marido e cunhado. (para quem não sabe, laranja é a cor da bandeira real da Holanda.)
How are you doing there? Everything is great over here. Today is my brother-in-law's birthday, which means we'll spend this weekend in The Netherlands... uhuuuuul! Oh, how I love to travel!
I was almost forgetting to use this month's untried polish, and nothing more fair than using an orange polish on the birth month of two Dutch guys - hubby and his brother. (for those who don't know, orange is the colour of the Dutch Royal flag.)

Para começar a por em prática as resoluções do blog, resolvi entrar em mais um desafio, mas dessa vez bem mais fácil e mais curto. É o desafio 12 Meses 12 Esmaltes que foi originalmente criado pela Marisa (descobri isso no blog da Lívia viu?! Obrigada gataaaaa!) e virou a sensação do ano passado através do blog da Tha. Ano passado não consegui fazer, pois já era quase abril quando tinha visto, e como sou chata, gosto de fazer do começo ao fim... kkkkkk

To start putting my blogging resolutions into practice I decided to join another challenge, but this time it's easier and shorter. It's the 12 Months 12 Polishes challenge that was originally created by a Brazilian girl called Marisa, and became last year's big hit in Brazil thanks to Tha's blog. Last year I couldn’t participate because it was almost April when I found out about it, and since I'm annoying and methodical, I like to start and finish stuff… LOL
